Hi all,
when I enable Go Locker app, I always obtain a double lock screen, meaning I first have to unlock the phone with the Go Locker lock, then I still have to unlock the phone with the default phone lock.
I found posts and solution for other phones, but no one specifically for our GW I8150.
I tried using NO-LOCK app too but didn't solve the problem.
Anyone has the same issue?
Any suggestion how to solve this problem?

I actually found to have the same problems with alot of 3rd party lockers and the only one I found so far that doesn't have that problem is WidgetLocker which works fantastically on my SGW with no problems so far. I would suggest using it instead but i'm not sure if you would like it or not.

Ah, sorry but I really couldn't find any 3rd party locker that doesn't give the double lock problem and if I knew then I would gladly have suggested it but if you do find a way to get it then it would work fantastically.

I also tried to use the "No lock" app to disable the default lock and then to apply the Go Locker, but didn't work...

just got the same trouble on my Chacha last two days. Sometime it's worked well (only go locker), sometime it appears back (double lockscreen) ??

I've stopped using Go Locker a long ago since I was not able to solve this issue.

my problem is solved after uninstalling the proximity app. Not sure this solution will work for your phone ^^ (maybe you should check any app that relates to the sensors of the phone)
Anybody else finding apps that are incompatible with this phone? So far on my CN model, I have had issues with a few video streaming apps:

It will play for between 5 -20 minutes, then it will crash. Sometimes the phone re-starts (full reboot), other times the phone will freeze, and only respond to a long hold of the power button to restart it, other times the app just closes, and sometimes the music just stops and can be restarted by hitting play.
These things only happen to my phone when MixCloud is running.

Whenever it's running in the background, not even playing songs, two cores are locked at max frequency. When downloading, all cores are at max with around 60% cpu load. Snapchat too, once I launch it, all cpu on max until I remove it from recent apps then turns back to normal

Anybody else try these apps so far, and if so what were your findings?
Maybe we can also keep a running list on this thread as well to keep clutter to a minimum? I will try to update this first post as often as I can to try to keep a running record that you won't have to scroll through multiple posts.

After updating from 2.14 to 2.19, Xfinity to go and Watch TNT work. Haven't tried the Fox or ABC apps yet.

My question is WHY do this apps fail? Is it because of the Intel processor, graphics chipset, missing application or handler for the video, or is it just something stupid.
Mortal Kombat X fails. All of my other apps work fine so far.

I'd love to know that as well. This is my main reason for ebaying my ZF2 and considering going with a LG G2 instead of a US ZF2. I really love the phone (coming from a Nexus 4 who wouldn't?) but while not having LTE is not a deal breaker not having my streaming apps properly working is.
Can someone confirm the working of Modern Combat 4... Modern combat 5 works well...

G2 has its issues as well, I have one for a work phone... The lollipop update cut my battery life in half, even after a factory reset, and the GPS is pathetic, if I can get better than 30 meter accuracy its a great day, my Nexus 4 would do 3 meter accuracy in seconds, and the lock screen flat out infuriates me.

Damn, that's disappointing. Most people seem to love the G2. I'm sure LG will fix that faster than Asus will fix any ZF2 issues though, or I'm hoping so. If the video streaming apps I regularly use worked I would have kept the phone, or would be swooping in on the US version now. Maybe it's time to look at the $315 GS5 although I'm not sure that I want to. Having the ZF2 for only two or three weeks, it's not easy going back to the screen size of the N4. Even my wife's GS4 feels small. I know the G2 is still smaller than the ZF2... but compared to the N4 only marginally so.

Thanks for checking in! Wifi and signal strength were both strong. I've tried these listed apps after several updates and after rooting a few times. Could have been a one-off issue with my particular phone?
Rhapsody doesnt work. I have 2 Taiwanese WW versions. Boots up, but once I sign in (or anyone else), it just crashes. I stream all day at work, so its a necessity. Anyone with the North America version have a different outcome? Thanks.

i am having this black tinting on top of my screen, its bugging me alot on wallpapers,
is this the software fault of the hardware. i just got my op3 last week.
i am posting the screenshot.
You can't be serious!! That's definitely software. It's not even an issue. try some launcher settings or new launchers to get rid of that shadow. FYI, If it's a hardware, it won't appear on your screenshot.

Can't really make out. But if its in the screenshot..then it's software. If it's hardware you will have to click a photograph with another camera for it to be visible
Seems like your screen got cracked after a drop. Can you make another screenshot so we can confirm the cracks as well?

no i am using oxygen os CB beta 7.
When i am scrolling down or up with my fingers,characters are jittering,lagging,blurring like lagging.

Try settings in your phone. Disable powersaver, uninstall rogue apps, or factory reset. It should be rocket fast. Try European firmware.
Did you messed up with resolution or dpi settings? Do you have fluid navigation gestures? Did you input adb commands or dev options? Are you rooted?

After noticing the problem I restored the phone to the factory settings and the problem persists. It is hard to define it but even at the very beginning text scrolling have jitters and chopping. It is easy to notice on text screens but also noticable on instagram etc. For example on scrolling screen when i put up my finger from screen lately show(0.5sn) response to me. From that lately response, texts are like jittering and then show original and image color or text.

When my scrolling finishs,and stop touching to screen, every character or image on screen lately on true form. on scrolling time characters are jittering.

Try flashing your firmware with lg up and. You may have a broken partition... Flashing will solve it.

You can find some topics here on xda, just Google it.
First steps:
1. Go to lg firmwares. com and download your lg g7 em firmware. Try open ones, they are without carrier bloatware.
2. Download LG Up software and install it.
3. Search on google for common. dll file for LG UP software and for lg g7.
4. Download and install lg g7 USB drivers.
Then follow simple steps :
1. Put the phone in download mode
2. Connect the G7 to USB cable
3. Wait for windows to install the adb driver
4. Open lg up software and load the firmware you downloaded
5. Flash the firmware.
Warning! Do not forget the common.dll file. You should copy that compatible file into program files. Search for tutorial about this.
I have a 710 eaw phone. On it happens to the font the same thing that you described. But I'm used to it and no longer pay attention to it. More from a few people about the same problem.

I also have G710EAW 6gb ram dual sim and also had stuttering with Hong Kong firmware. I flashed european firmware and now is a rocket. Also improved battery life.

I'm looking fot he LG game pad app, but i can't find it. I installed LG game laucher, but i don't have the LG game padd icon like on the V60 (see scree).
I know that the app is for dualscreen cases, but maybe it also works for the LG Wing.

Nevermind, i see that it's already preinstalled. But it doesn't work on the LG wing. I hope they will add support in the next update. Would be great to have a game pad on the second screen.

A bit off topic, & will start a new thread myself, if needed, should I get the phone :
Have you used an alternative launcher app (Nova/etc....)?
If so, is the 2nd screen activity/app pairings the same as when using LG's launcher, or, is some functionality lost?
EDIT/UPDATE (11/07/2020) :
After watching TK Bay's YouTube review of the LG WING, using anything other than the stock launcher will strip away some of the features/functionality of the phone in dual-display mode.
To what extent, he didn't elaborate, I'll find out more when I pick up the phone from T-Mobile later today.
