Thanks. :good: Two things users would like to see is the removal of CABL (Content Adaptive Backlight Control), and "Tap to Wake", so would be great if a kernel Dev could make that possible?

The slight change of brightness, it's obviously not a massive issue but it's made more annoying by the fact Sony doesn't allow us to disable it in the menu.

Any chance we can get an update for the .157 rom? I'm currently running the .108 kernel with the .157 rom, but it keeps offering me the same update I can post kernel.sin if needed.
I'd rather not flash DualRecovery - I wonder how other people on unlocked bootloaders upgrade if they don't want to use the towelroot exploit? It seems all guides tell you to use a root exploit, which kinda defeats the purpose of having an unlocked bootloader. But this is off-topic here

[Sony] Xperia Open Devices Project

Sony Mobile is committed to supporting the open developer community, and one way to show this is by publishing parts of our code as well as selected tools developed by our internal developers.
For some of the Xperia™ devices, we provide Android™ Open Source Project (AOSP) device configurations on GitHub. This means that the software will be open for you as a developer to use and contribute to. This is a way for us to support the open Android community, and it is also a tool for us to facilitate and verify contributions to AOSP.

I compiled AOSP using Sony's instructions and was able to boot fine into the ROM.
I also used the offical recovery mode update from Sony's developer page.
I can enter recovery with power + vol down, but when I use 'adb reboot recovery', it does not work (boots direct into the AOSP, like a normal reboot). Is this expected?
Do I have to use the extract_elf_ramdisk in my AOSP build, like CyanogenMod?
Thanks!

But those are only for Lollipop Unfortunately still no camera on marshmallow
It appears as some people have been able to unlock the bootloader if the c6916 z1s (USA), using the regular z1 unlocking method on the Sony dev site. This didn't week for my z1s though. Is the camera permanently broken regardless of ROM after unlocking the bootloader? And why does it with to do this with some c6916 z1s units and not others? :/
Can you confirm is it possible to unlock the bootloader please.. Anyone else have tried it. Thanks in advance

you need the new bootloader in order to flash the recovery.
for that, use EMMA and select the new TA

Xperia T3: Need Advise for installing most latest & stable custom Rom
Hi,
Greetings!!
Please help!
Can anyone advise me for the most latest & stable custom Rom for Xperia T3 D5103 with step by step guide.
If FXP Team is the answer, then which is the best one to consider "AOSP by FXP - Android 6.0 - AOSP_M_160717_seagull.zip" or "CM 12.1 by FXP - cm-12.1-20150715-UNOFFICIAL-seagull.zip" or other older versions.
Currently running stock Rom 4.4.4 build 18.1.A.2.25
Sorry, if my English is bad.
Positive & prompt reply will be appreciated.
Many Thanks

SuperSU is systemless in this kernel, you just need to flash this kernel and systemless xposed and you are done.
I know it sounds crazy, but would you mind posting a version of this WITHOUT superSU? I need an unrooted version to get suhide to work for me.
As a few people asked if i can make this or that kernel (all stock based) you can mod the rootkernel tool by urself to make your own kernel as u wish...
-----------mod rootkernel for matching new .305 kernel----------------------------
- go to "rootkernel_v5.0\Android\twrp_common_kmodules" folder
- You will find different folders with different kernel names there.
- Copy the "3.10.84-perf-gf1cfa5f" folder to your dektop, rename it to "3.10.84-perf-gf38969a" and copy it back to "twrp_common_kmodules" folder
---------end of mod----------------------
use rootkernel tool normal

[RECOVERY] MultiROM for Zuk Z2 Plus [fedor917]

Just in case people weren't aware:
https://github.com/MR-Z2plus/build
MultiROMMgr*.apk -- app for switching between ROMs in system and for manage ROMs.
TWRP_multirom_z2_plus*.img -- TWRP with MultiROM.
multirom-*-z2_plus.zip -- MultiROM installer (installing from TWRP).
multirom_uninstaller.zip -- MultiROM uninstaller.
Note: All credit to fedor917. I'm not maintaining builds - just making people on xda aware of it.
Better this MultiROM or DPB (Dual Boot Patcher) by the same Fedor?
I would say DPB since it still gets updated from time to time and multiboot is frozen since nearly 5month.
I only tested DPB once and atleast it worked for me (installing mokee m as secondary rom) and multiboot would probably get the job done too.
Can someone give instructions for this? Its possible to install zui 2.5.344st and (for example) Dirty Unicorn ? Using aosp roms, but need sometimes the camera of ZUI -.-

Xperia T3 Android 7.0

I was searching for Xperia T3 custom ROMs and I didn't find any ROMs for it except for the stock ROM and the other ROM that I found, the guy said it wasn't tested if it was buggy. Also I never found a 7.0 ROM for it but I also found duplicate vids which were fake, because people said it in the comments. Guys will you develop a ROM for it or can I find the stable 6.0 ROM?

Thanks for this info too. I have Xperia E3 with two bootloader versions: stock and new one.
We are using stock to run LineageOS 14.1 and it doesn't have recovery support, but it has a partition named FOTAKernel which works as recovery partition. We can use it to store recovery and modify boot.img to launch it after pressing a volume key. We can also store recovery ramdisk on boot.img so we have solutions for this. Don't worry.

Thank you.

I used to think that before but if you configure kernel ok it will boot on stock bootloader.
What I'm doing is to take device tree from all variants from stock kernel to create the new kernel. It should make it work with stock bootloader.

Hello guys,
I need a little help with this. As I don't own this device, I need information about its sensors. Could any of you install CPU-Z and take screenshots of all the tabs?
Thank you

I've not ported some drivers yet, this weekend I'll try to finish kernel.
EDIT: I will wait to start Christmas to continue the work because I'm a bit busy these days, I'm sorry.
