[Q] Initial set up questions, please help :) - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

1. I didn't give the navbar much thought through the initial setup and now I cannot change where I want the Navigation buttons to go.
When I go to the settings page for the touch buttons, it only has options for adding pointless buttons and, for instance, not the settings button.
Do you know how I can get back to that original menu to add 4 buttons instead of 3?
2. Is there a way to change the clock on the lockscreen as it barely shows on anything other than dark wallpapers. On the G2, you could swipe sideways, add a page and then delete the standard clock, but this UI seems not to have that feature.
3. Is the only way to get full immersive mode with this rom to install an Xposed module?

[Q] [App] Widgetsoid 2x

Here I ld like to push a great app that need help from an android expert.
Widgetsoid 2x allows you to toggle most of the android settings (data sync flash and many more) by the same way as the native shorcuts featuring on the status bar or replacing the poor native toggling wiget. See attachment.
In addition it is free and do not request for any suspect permission.
Only one point could be improved the buttons added in the status bar are indirect, I mean it open an intermediate dialog box featuring the direct buttons (see attachment).
According to the brilliant develloper JAUMARD Android locks the buttons on status bar but the radio app and the music app features such buttons.
Is there any mod or idea to remove this protection?
Nb : I m not the dev of widgetsoid 2x. I post for him... and then me...
Just downloaded this and its awesome!
One thing tho... The flashlight toggle doesn't work :/
Also how can I get it in the pulldown menu like in your screenshot, that would be amazing?
Please have a look on the help section :

On some devices the comportement is the same as the original toggle - no popup
On SGSII, that is the point I have hilighted yes there is need for popup due to a lock of android system. The question is how to unlock?

I don't know maybe we should ask a custom ROM developer?

I cannot request anything and only hilight this app that supply a big lack in android system.
However I just hope that a confirmed dev that find this option interresting would be kind enought to share its mod unlocking the direct access to status bar button.
Help will be appreciated

There is an option to disable pop up in settings.
Great app, must have for my phone

I know its a noob question.

I can not find how to re-enable the notification bar. I have P.A.C.-Man ROM installed. My brother was screwing around with all the setting. I fixd everything but the notification bar. Does anyone know where the setting to turn it back on?
Do you have an interface option in your rom settings menu?? If so, should be able to it there....

Are you using Nova launcher, Apex Launcher etc? Can you get the notification bar to drop down by sliding your finder down the screen starting at the very top? Typically most after market launchers will have an option to auto hide the notification bar.
For nova launcher, click the menu button while on the home screen, you should have a "Nova Settings" option. Click that then click "Look and Feel". It will show up near the bottom of the list.
I am not 100% sure where this option resides in Apex launcher and I believe IIRC, Trebuchet does NOT have this option, but I could be wrong.

[Q] Power Saving Mode home screen shortcut or toggle ?

I've been searching the interwebs for awhile to see if anyone has developed a desktop shortcut or preferably a toggle for the built in power saving mode. I don't want to download another application that saves power, I just want to have quick access to the native ability via the home screen. Has anyone created this or can anyone make this? Seems relatively easy... Thanks

I believe the stock toggles on a stock Rom have the power saver toggle.

Yes, it definitely is in the stock toggle bar, but just wondering if a shortcut type toggle for the home screen has been created.

i guess you could do that from nova launcher via activities....though by which appname or class does this mode goes on...that the problem
if i could have power saving mode app ID then making its shortcut is easy in nova launcher

[Q] Disable Power Menu & Change Theme Multitasking

Hi everyone, I'm new of this forum but I'm following this forum since I change my iPhone 4s for the amazing Note 2.
I tried to search for informations but any thread seems to be helpful.
I've installed Android Revolution HD (which is in my opinion the best ROM I tried) with Perseus Kernel, then I started to modify the look of most the interface, in order to make the ROM look similar to Aosp-based ones without losing all TW funcionalities but extending them.
Here's my questions:
1) As I insert 4-way reboot, sound toggle, airplane mode with other toggle in extended status bar, I removed all options from power menu. Can I disable it? I downloaded "Buttonremapper" but I don't wanna lose the ability to press Lock button for screen locking. Do you have a solution?
2) Is there any theme for multitasking selector (not multiwindow, I've already changed that) with bottom buttons more close to "Nexus feel" and, if possible, even without the "No recent app" text? (I've searched on the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924905 but I couldn't find anything).
Thank you all in advance!!
Greetings
+1

Help me remove/hide share bar in sense

Hey Fellas, want to remove share bar in sense 6 (4.4.2 arhd) once you are inside reading an article. That black bar takes a lot of screen and would like to be able to hide it atleast or similar so I get more text on screen.
What to do?
1st of all. .WRONG SECTION..ASK QUESTIONS IN Q&A SECTION.
ANS- You mean on-screen buttons? Use Trickster app to remove 3-dot menu.

Oh sorry, didn't realise that.
I'm talking about when reading article in blinkfeed see here https://d13yacurqjgara.cloudfront.net/users/22485/screenshots/1493015/htc_blinkfeed_detail_1x.png
do you see the black bar in top.. the share options etc.. Takes a lot of space!
What would be great is have menu pop up with single press on home button or similar and get those options there. (only option I would need personally is read later and go back. Going back is already possible with normal backbutton and reading later is also already available if you go back and longpress an article (seems a bit buggy though doesn't always work)). Then we could get that 15% extra screen when reading!
