Spigen does not have plans to make cases for the One - ONE Accessories

Check out the screenshot. Says it all.

Disappointing to me as well, but not at all surprising. I am loving the OnePlus One, but being a new phone from a new company with unknown numbers in the world... the big manufacturers are unlikely to give it much attention. Or at least that is my line of thought.

I tweeted at incipio and they don't have any plans either. I asked rearth and am waiting for a reply. I'm just glad that diztronic is making a case for the oneplus one and I for sure will definitely support them for future phones for their ongoing support for any major phones.
But speaking from a business perspective, it makes sense... If oneplus did remove the invite system and more people asked them then these companies would make cases for this phone due to its popularity.
Sent from my One using Tapatalk

Oh yeah I completely don't blame companies for not supporting the One.
I posted this for informational purposes.
I'm sure I'll get a Cruzerlite at the least. But I REALLY want a more sturdy case if I need something with rugged protection. So far a TPU case is as protective as it gets right now.

I'm personally waiting for the Diztronic case. The cruzerlite case looks nice but the design isn't really my thing.

Spigen tends not to support a lot of phones/carriers. They never delivered a case for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, and now the One. Although as someone else mentioned, it's not surprising they aren't supporting the One. Right now it's a niche phone and may not ever have the popularity/availability of other major devices.

So Cruzerlite and Diztronic cases are at this time the best possible cases for Oneplus one phone?

Tudia has a bumper case up on Amazon.com but ships in August.

Sooo sad, because I actually like their rounded edges tempered glass protectors. They feel amazing.

At this time, yes. As far as the most protective.

Yes, spigen Heo Hybrid series is the very good case for mobile devices, I also got one for my samsung mobile

I wasn't a big fan on the neo hybrid. It looks nice but it makes the phone too bulky and rectanglar shaped. Mainly the bulk of the case was the problem for me.

I like your response "Booo !!"

Look up a group called supcase. They make great cases and I'm sure if we all messaged them they might give it some thought. I've already messaged them but have yet to get a response
clean installs are love. clean installs are life

I think more accessories are gonna be made some they are gonna sell the phone in India now too

The "Not on our radar" manufacturer thread

So, needed a rugged/water resistant case for use in the outdoors in Alaska, I've emailed a few companies to see if they had plans to make a case with at least one of the above characteristics.. preferably both. Here's my list of "Not yet" manufacturers.

Trident was a yes, though.
Any other "Not yet" responses you guys have gotten from manufacturers you've contacted? Be nice to have a thread of manufacturer responses.
The leather Nexus 7 cases made by oberondesign.com might or might not fit the new Nexus 7. I asked them about it and they said they hadn't tried the new one yet, but they suspected it would not fit the old case. They haven't made a decision about actively supporting the new model yet.

I see your question about the HTC one, what i did to solve that issue is remove there screen protector. Push it in from the front, it comes off fairly easily, then remove any excess glue with alcohol. use your favorite brand of screen protector and snap back on the defender and your good to go. I hated my otterbox defender for the ONE til i did this.

Well, that sucks.
I ended up with the Poetic Revolution anyway. If you want to triple the thickness of your N7, that's the way to do it. Holy crap this thing is huge. Plastic frame with integrated screen protector, and rubber outer case, with plugs for ear and usb ports.
Seen here with the N7 in the Moko Ultrathin Smart.
Pic sucks, it's late and I'm tired. :silly:

Which case do you guys recommend for me?

Hi!
I got a N5 some weeks ago, and I really don't want it to crash. I have seen AndroidAuthority's drop test video, and to be honest, it scared the cr*p out of me
So I decided to buy a case.
The two I like the most, are the official bumper case (but its a bit over-priced for me) and the Cruzerlite Bugdroid case (but I'm not sure if its durable enough)
Are there better cases out there?
Which do you think is the most suitable case for me?

Look here bro http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521927 and the section you posted in, so many different cases, discussions and reviews. No one can decide what case you want, just pick the one that suits you best.

Was just going to reply similarly but you beat me to it. Anyway, like he said there are a ton of case threads in this forum. I would actually recommend starting with this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617182 there's a poll here for best cases under different categories.
Check out the tech21 case if you can get one. It is worth the price in my experience so far.

There's a TON of threads on every type of case.
My 2 favorite cases are the speck candyshell and the diztronic tpu. If u dont mind the price go for the speck, really lovin it so far but if price is an issue then go for the diztronic
Spigen Slim Armor. Great case for ~$15, if you get off their ebay store.

Speck Case

I've been using two Speck cases for the G6 over the last three days. All I have to say is these cases are amazing.

I was looking at Speck as a possible protective case. How is the protection on them? I've used the candyshell grip for my s7, but haven't seen the presidio series yet.

In my opinion the protection is great for the thickness it adds to the phone, which isn't much. It fits really tight onto the phone and has a good amount of lip on the edges of the screen. My favorite function is the grip it adds.

I just ordered two cases today - one is a spigen and this cheap one. Hoping that one of them will turn out okay.
I decided to go with the OtterBox Symmetry instead. I usually rock a commuter case, so I think it'll work out better for me.

I was tempted to order that cheap one. The color looks cool. Please post pics when you get it.
I have the spigen rugged armor and it's amazing. I rarely drop my phone but if I did more often I wouldn't like how thin the corners are on the one I got truly. But it works for me great. Doesn't add bulk at all and protects the camera lens I've always wanted a spec but hated their prices

Yeah, I want the black one, though. I might wait a while until the price (hopefully) goes down a bit. Just ordered the new DBrand black dragon skin, so I'll see if that gives enough grip to make me go without a case for a while. I really like the metal edges of the phone, so I'd like to go caseless as long as it isn't slippery.

Cases

So far, has anybody heard anything about cases for the 5T? It sounds like the actual device is almost identical to the 5, including button and switch positions. The new position for the fingerprint sensor will certainly have an effect, though...
I use my 3T for bike courier work, so a sturdy case is essential...)
Does anyone know if the official Flip Cover cases from OnePlus have any magnetic mechanism to keep them closed?
That RhinoShield is what's happening.
I'm using the included case until my cases from Amazon arrive.

bought some cheap ones from aliexpress. note that aliexpress already have a lot of replicas for the 5t from the spigen one for the oneplus 5
Just bought this Nillkin case in white, I liked all Nillkin cases used so far.
I have been using the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro for my last few devices. I typically order the case before the phone and that case isn't out for the 5T yet. Hurry up Supcase!
I like this official OnePlus 5T Silicone case.

Dbrand Grip v2 and Prism launched for Pixel 3XL

Dbrand launched Dbrand Grip v2 case and Prism screen protector for our phone. It is supposed to ship by February.
Grip - https://dbrand.com/shop/grip
Prism - https://dbrand.com/shop/prism
Looks like a sweet case....but the price is pretty steep.
I have never used their brand. Are they worth my investment?

They do have amazing skins, that I can vouch for.
This is their first official case and screen protector. It does look good from whatever information we have. I have ordered them and the expected delivery is in February. Will update with a review when I receive it.

I had their original grip case for the Pixel 2XL. It was just a bumper case but was certainly very grippy. Overall it was a bit too bulky and ugly tbh. V2 appears to be a full case and it looks much better in my opinion. If it's the same quality as the original with this new design, I'm sure it'll be great
Curious how good the prism.... The case looks nice but I doubt it protects the cell as well as my otter box defender...

Looks like not shipping yet, but I would like to know how that screen protector fits, my wife is using one of those cheap amazon tempered glass ones that don't quite stick and it's awful, I just keep it in a spigen case that has been great, but sometimes I worry about the screen.
