How to?
Sent from my LG-D851 using Tapatalk

go to your hardware store, its 5bucks. completely removable if you dont like. i used to dip my chrome parts of our cars.

That'll look good for about 20 seconds until I put it in my pocket and the edge starts to peel up.
Plasti-dip works well for things which are either 100% covered or aren't being handled.
The edges will peel up soon.

Not mine. You have to wait to fully dry. I waited 1hr and its on my garage since it's very hot

You can't tell me what to do! Haha

Now get out your seat and hump around, 21 hump street, 22 hump street, humping jack flash is a gas gas gas.

To answer the question, plastidip is removable. Peels right off.

Lol meant jump

That dip is easy to remove he aint worried about T-Mobile

Plastidip peels right off, no worries about it. And if it doesn't peel in one piece, it will peel into pieces that you can just pull apart. The more coat you put, the thicker and stronger they become. There are different ways of applying it too, yielding different results. If you spray it from afar, you get micro droplets and they come out matte and bumpy after several coats, like OP's outcome. But if you spray from up close, maybe about 2-3 inches, in short bursts, it will dry with a shinier sheen to it. After a few coats, it'll be a rubbery shiny coat. Not glossy, but more like Satin-Semi Gloss. Make sure to get the edges well as well, otherwise the edges will peel easily due to its thinness.

Please don't tell me what to do with my phone unless you work for Apple, then it's acceptable. [emoji16]

hah that looks awesome! I was actually thinking about doing that myself and ordered a spare back to try lol

Nice! I might try this. Speaking of slippery, I threw my phone out of my car window the other day. I pulled up to the drive-thru at starbucks, pulled my phone out to pay and it slipped right out of my hand, flew at the barista, bounced off the drive-thru window and flew behind the car. The barista looked back at it and said, "Nice, your screen didn't shatter."

Case with kickstand from t-mobile

Ive has the kickstand case from t-mobile for about 3 weeks now and it has scratched my phone in 2 places just a heads up to anyone looking to buy the case

I don't have a camera but its scratched about 2cm above the back speaker and like in between the camera button and corner, the edge has its black paint come off

It kinda scratched 3 of my 4 corners as well. Not too bad, but you can see it's there. I really like the case, but taking it off and putting it on risks scratching it. Thank goodness i bought the gel case as well.

It's too tight and I am always afraid that I break off one of the buttons especially the camera button. I don't use this case anymore.
had this damn case and I think since I used it my bezel started to make a clicky noise at the lower left edge of the phone, I probably loosened the bezel when this damn too tight case wouldn't come off or it put pressure on the bezel the entire time and loosened it.
I've had no problems with the case on my phone. I do grit my teeth a little trying to take it off in fear it will hurt the phone, but it hasn't. I have so many people wanting a case with a kickstand for their phone. They are so jealous of my case!

I'm thinking of ordering this case, are you liking it?
I have this case as well. I show some very minor scratching on it and have taken it off countless times. The easiest way I can remove it is by starting in the upper left corner (near the ambient light sensor) and popping it off there. Then I put a nail under the lower left corner and pop it out. I never take it out from the right side first because the camera button isn't as flush as the volume button. The only real issue I have is the case doesn't extend far out enough to protect the chrome lip around the screen. Other than that, this case will hold me over just fine until Otterbox releases a defender for it.
Same case issue with scratching on the same spot. Also waiting for otterbox to come out. At least it will cover the scratches.

Searching for YOU sponsored from me personally. don't see a lot of negative here nor did i see someone showing close pictures of the white one either. I fit it in my pocket and don't want to add any bulk to my phone so personally skins suit me! As well as a lot of others.
Someone could get a clear case if the wanted and it will fit right over...
My 2 Cents
I think that looks sweet. Thinking about ordering one
That's extreme! Seems very portal-esc
If I was any good at applying these things I'd be down.
What area are you from??
very nice and clean!
i bet the texture is awesome.
I love the way it looks, how long has it been on? I'd like to know how well they hold up, they're kind of pricey and I've heard complaints about the corners peeling up. Keep us up to date on how it holds up.
I covered my KLR650 motorcycle in carbon print vinyl like this. It withstood six months of gnarly weather, dust and offroad.
Before I finally peeled it off, my bike looked like it was totalled. However, the paint underneath was flawless.
You can get a good result if you are slow and methodical. if not, it won't look so great.
Hmm, I ordered a roll of this stuff from Ebay and got it in. Looks really slick and I covered a few things to practice. But I think I need a good pattern for the Thunderbolt. Anyone have anything? Even another skin and a scanner?
Would greatly appreciate it and be willing to send someone a big enough piece for a couple of these if we can get a pattern going.
I can even send people chunks to make skins if they are willing to cover a couple bucks in shipping.
Do you think it offers much protection other than from surface scratches? Say from falls to the floor or concrete? Doesn't from the pictures and manufacturer's description.

it's just a sticker so I highly doubt it does anything other than prevent some scratches.
Does look cool. How charred up does it look then its removed? That's always my worry with them
It removed no issues. I took it off so I can recut a new skin with better cleaner edges and there is no resides at all.
I bought a roll of black off Ebay, so I cut my own skin. I wish I had a good pattern.
Looks pretty cool in a something different kind of way, also storm-troopery. I personally wouldn't cover the kickstand, though.
thumbs up, i'm really liking this

not so useful, when you have sticky finger, and use in a Chlorinated pool. The case seems like been eaten away by the pool PH level or the chlorine it self.
Had one also for scuba diving, the case was well kept the cell seal till 4 feet depth, the screen cracked due to the build of the phone. The case sleeve have no pressure protection due to "soft" casing.

there is this one i found the other day
http://www.amazon.co.uk/UltimateAdd...3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328472258&sr=1-3
would be great for cyclists and motorcyclists
might be bulky for everyday useage but i think id prefer it to an aquapack as its more phone shaped and is more of a case then a pack
would be great for tough enviroments like building sites etc
it can also be found on this website

The Buybit case is not waterproof in that you can immerse it underwater - but it should be ok when it rains - Here's a video I posted in another thread
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L11YMoG8zrA

So my friend dropped his S3 in a INCIPIO twice today..

My friend was really obsessed with putting his phone on a bike mount he kind of setup himself, and he had a couple of growing pains where the assembly that it was clipped two fell off the bike TWICE today.. He has the same INCIPIO case that I do. Anyways I thought i'd post all these pictures for anyone considering the case or anyone just wondering how certain cases hold up to certain things.. Now again it had half the mount still attached to the phone when it fell which probably added a little extra weight and each time it fell it landed on a different corner. The cases corners appears to have cracked so it did its job, but on one corner (not sure if it was the first fall or second fall) the phone does appear to have formed some hairline cracks in the corner of the phone (why they didnt make that small band around this phone metal is beyond me!)
You can barely see them but they are there.. His screen was still fine (thast what matters) and the phone stil functinos perfectly, so thats a testament to the case i'm sure, but I'm already looking at some others.. without further ado, here are the pics.

Three drops without a case, and S3 keeps on ticking (on top of freezing, heat, dunk in water tests.)
Third test was a 7~8 foot drop (again with no case) and it survived.

Case did its job, but get a case for drop protection make sure it can be reused in the same situation again. Otterbox defender, trident kraken, ballistic sg maxx.
I have the kraken and dropped it a dozen times and tossed out at people (who can't catch), case and phone still look brand new.
Sent from Pluto.
doesnt exactly bode well for the case
if 2 drops damaged the case pretty badly and still managed to damage the phone then I wouldnt trust it anymore
time for an otterbox defender

D.I.Y Grippy Rubber Shell Cover

I've been a huge fan of this product for years ---> http://www.plastidip.com/
It's basically a spray on rubberized coating that is also 100% REMOVABLE!
I have been using it on trim pieces and rims on my car for years.
Out of sheer boredom, I decided I would try the product on my Moto G battery cover.
Turned out great!!
On my last coat, I got near the bottom of the can (was using left overs), so a couple of bubbles appeared.
But this was just a proof of concept, spur of the moment situation.
Next time I am going to use a fresh can, and maybe a different colour.
Anyway, here are my results!
Tell me what you think!

Looks nice! But maybe a bit too ruggy, not for the bubbles, on the rest too. But I guess that happens with any spray painting Unluckily. Anyway, looks nice to me
