Rhino shield does the trick.... Or claims to. But you're paying a hefty premium for the screen protector ($25 USD) well worth it though I have one on mine! I'd never try and test it out though, maybe if I had a fake phone lol.

Same :/ - Pretty annoying, however the screen does remakrablly stay clean! - Scratches seem to be avoidable if your not abusing it, but I still want that peace of mind - ie using dirty fingers xD

Got it from Carphone Warehouse and its a universal one, so ill have to cut it to size myself.
With this quality of screen though, I get the impression a screen protector might not be needed. It feels pretty scratch resistant unless your clumsy and don't keep it in a case of some sort.
I fail to see how general usage could lead to scratches.

[Q] Screen protectors

Hi all,
Is it suitable to use a screen protector (e.g. Brando) with the Wildfire?
I'm wondering whether it reduces the touch screen's sensitivity, reflection , ...
What are you using?
I've got a Brando screen protector for my HTC Touch Cruise (3 years now) and I'm pretty happy about it. The protector looks pretty scratched and greasy but when I peak under it, the phone seems perfectly clear.
So what are your opinions? Thanks
I have a Zagg Invisible Shield on mine ant it`s great. The sensibility is only slightly reduced, you don`t even feel it`s there. But that depends on the type of protector you`re going to use. Mine does not interfere with the viewing angles ot luminosity/contrast. If you want to see more pictures check my blog.
My wildfire is a pretty rugged phone, i dont think it really needs screen protector. On the other hand, my htc desire wouldn't last a month without the ZAGG invisible shield, or is it maybe the desire costed me double?
I think the Zagg is good in application mine had no bubbles the next day but using Swype is a really drag ! literally too rubbery I'm afraid
Any suggestion on a good protector that works well with Swype ? I'm in UK

Ok Alex will see how I go ,only had the Zagg protector on for a couple or three days
Mine took about 10 days in order to smooth out. As long as you installed it properly, you should be fine.
I've heard good things about this Brando one which has a matte finish so no greasy finger prints or reflections. I'm thinking of getting one if I can find it for sale in £GBP
http://hemorrdroids.net had a review of one on their Youtube channel.
Try phantom skinz, can't even tell its there, and I use swype! Little expensive, worth out through!

Can somebody please recommend me some good screen protectors from ebay (by posting the correct link)? I found many of them and I don't want to buy some bad ones...
i dnt think the screen protectors affect too much. mine came with my case all for $12, which is considered cheap in NZ. n it works pretty good
whatever you do don't get privacy screen protectors, the ones i tried were just a mirror finish, they look ridiculous, screwed up colours on screen, made it impossible to see anything outside, and made my sensors play up( my soft keys wouldn't light up). i'm like kevin just using cheap ones off ebay and they are fine.

[Q]How to remove the screen protector

I want to buy the matte screen protector but i got a screen protector built in the phone so how do i remove it?
why do u want to buy a new one, when u already have one????
Think of how you would apply one, then reverse the procedure.
I removed it, but it took some time, because it's very thick. Just take your time, use a nail in the corner and be very patience.
Sent from Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
yup it's quite sticky unlike the 3rd party screen protector, you may ask a favor from a girl to peel it for you coz their long nails will easily do the job.

As an alternative point of view: DONT just put the new one over the top, remove the old one first. I've seen a couple of posts where people have layered screen protectors (usually because they didnt know it came with one factory fitted) complaining about touchscreen sensitivity.
I mean, it could work fine for you with 2 layers, but if it doesnt you're out the cost of one screen protector.
Use sticky tape to peel it off.

Yes, same as me
I recognized the factory applied screen proctector after i have installed the second that was found in the box and after reading here a few weeks ago
Now i removed the second and only use the factory apllied one. And it does a quite good job. I don´t know if other ones would be "better" but the factory applied one is good enough for me and does what it shall do: Protecting the screen
Even the X10 comes with a pre installed screen protector. My Arc has 2 screens protectors , The one which came as pre installed and I applied the other one over the pre installed protector.
About the sensibility, personally, it's a lot sensible than the X10 (even though I have 2 protectors )

Accessories Whitestone [Dome Glass] Google Pixel 6 Pro Tempered Glass Screen Protector [Liquid Dispersion Tech] With Camera Film Protector

New! My personal newbie UV-cured screen protector review at post # 90. TL;DR - overall 95% satisfactory, fingerprint still works perfectly and looks and feels great.
Note that they are not listed here https://www.whitestonedome.com/collections/google/pixel but they are listed here https://www.whitestonedome.com/collections/google, although the former also says "[Pre-Order ] Google Pixel 6 Pro & 6 Dome Glass Are Live NOW!" just with no links to the product.
Direct link to P6P one here. Use the THANKYOU21 promo code for a further $6 off. Thanks to @LLStarks for that info. In the end, you pay for shipping instead of the (right now) default free 2-day shipping, and it only saves you $1.50. @lemonspeakerz says if you can find something for $1, use the XMAS25 code instead.
lemonspeakerz said:
Fyi, if you use this code, you loose out on the free 2-day shipping and you will be defaulted to the standard $5.99 shipping.
In the end, the code still brings the total to be $1.50 cheaper than without... But the real question is, is 2 day shipping worth it for $1.50?

I bought mine already without a promo code, but I left one in the cart while I was experimenting with other promo codes people said to try, and I just got an email with a link to buy the one in my cart for 10% off, but when I follow the link it says "WELCOMEBACK discount code isn’t available to you right now". Might be worth someone else trying it, though.
LLStarks said:
A UV kit for the regular 6 is weird. They usually just do normal protectors for phones with flat screens.
At least the installation trays look like they got a major upgrade in materials and they aren't charging the usual $50+ for either phone.

My question too - does it work very well with the in-screen optical fingerprint reader. So far with everyone else, that's always the caveat with the screen protectors they've reported back on. The manufacturer's site doesn't mention the fingerprint reader and they're out of stock anyway.

I have this one (CoverOn) on my phone right now and no, fingerprint reader does not work. Several other people have mentioned this particular one doesn't work for them either (as with all the others). I am keeping it on though b/c it's nice, fits well, does well with not leaving too many smudges/prints, etc. Also feels nice. Until one comes out that works with the fingerprint reader, I'll stay with this and use a pin. I like the protection of tempered glass vs. TPU/PET, etc..
I really don't know it says it has true touch technology but since I have yet to receive my pixel I can't verify
i will stay naked until Whitestone. Might be 6 months down the line though.

Exact same thing here, keeping it for the fit, feel, and protection until something comes out that works. I still believe it's a software bug since the standard P6 is also having issues with TGSP and FP

Exactly!! I could tell just by the black lines around the outside.
iShieldz has a protector that has adhesive just on the fingerprint scanner part to get the scanner working. The tradeoff is that you end up with a circle in the screen thats visible all the time. I got it from my carrier.
I contacted Whitestone and they replied to me and said they will have one ready to be sold in January-ish.
