I was wondering if anyone has tried to install Windows Phone 8.1 on their M8? I run IC 4.1 currently but do some developing and it would be nice to just flash back and forth between Windows Phone 8.1 and Android 4.x
Sorry if this post is in the wrong category. My assumption was this should be considered development. Thanks!

[Q] 4.5/5 Betas, and Windows Phone 8.1

Hi Guys,
Sorry if I am posting in the wrong spot, but this looked like the most applicable forum for these Watson's:
1. Is there any way to install Android 4.5 or Android 5.0L beta, like is possible with the Nexus, on the HTC One M8?
2. I've asked this before, but thought it might be worth asking again since things may have changes: given the nature of the bootloader being the same for the Android and Windows models, is there, or could there be, a way of installing Windows Phone 8.1, on an Android M8? I found some "Change my software" application, but I assume it's a fake, and really malware.
Thank you for reading my question, and please let me know if my post for the guidelines for this forum.
Kind Regards,

Ok, firstly this is a question and should have been posted in the Q&A section.
Secondly, the golden rule in XDA is "Search".... there are threads in the General section for both Android L and W8.1. These will give you all you need to know.
I'd just moved this thread over to Q&A and then noticed you'd created a thread there already so I deleted the 2nd thread considering this is now in the right place

Nothing on teh above yet, although windows 8 porting is being looked at

Can I install Windows Phone 8.1 to an Android One M8?

If I buy an Android One M8 can I install WP 8.1 to it?
Hello,
I have closed your thread. There is a stickied thread here: [Discussion]Porting WP8 To The Android HTC One M8 for all things related to porting windows to the m8. Currently there is no way of installing windows on to the m8.
Many thanks,

No. Will not be possible even in future because no one is working on it.
There is a huge thread about this sticky at the top of the M8 General forum section, if you want to know more.
