[MOD][ION & XperiaS] Advanced Power Menu - Update 12/22/12

Note: If you download @ 12/21/12, there is a bug check out my Post #21 or Re-download below.
With his permission, jader13254, I had ported his code to our ION. Please visit his Post Xperia Ultimate MoD to give him Thanks.
What this mod does is gave you more options to the Power Menu - beside the original options, now Added: Reboot System, Reboot to Recovery, Take Screenshot.

Rooted - (optional - however can't see how could one had deodexed rom without rooted)

Install zip file through CWM
Or if you know how you can directly replace the files using Root Explorer (or similar apk), don't forget to change the permission to rw-r--r--

Can work on LT28h 6.1.E.2.68 Firmware ?

Can u make it for XS?

Boot into recovery is not working.
It works from status bar option.

As mention, LT28i_6.1.E.2.68 only.
Noticed recovery is not fully working - will look into this when I had time. This weekend I have limitted access to computer.

Small Apps enabled?

I dont use small app, however i heard small apps doesn't touch framework, so I guess that's a yes.
About the reboot recovery - after talking with a few members - I think it related to busybox not able to recognize or running the code. Unless we have an updated CWM with latest working busybox, I don't think this function is working. There is away to fix it - rewrite the code, in which out of my capability.
Temp fix for getting to recovery is using the new tab (20 toggles) or my new up date with recovery reboot.

How did you get "LTE" instead of "4G" for this ROM?

The SystemUI I used had the icons - when I have a little more time i'll port the tabs notification.

No if you want to have the new layout (20 toggle tabs) then you have to wait until I have time to do that - otherwise you can look for my other thread Toggle Mod lastest update. Or you can download AOSP style like this here:

A full rom for mini pro ? I just got that phone as a replacement for my X8. I haven't touch that one, more or less it's a backup phone. In addition I'm a rom dev. So Answer is no
FOReveryone : I actually found the error for recovery. I'll work on all version of Ion and Xperia S - KA rom (maybe stock too if I have all the requirement files). Coming soon.

OP updated for all ION firmwares (not yet LT28h_6.1.E.3.7). Please test and let me know they're working - I only test on the LT28i_68fw.

please edit your build.prop and flash zip
Add this line at last

- Reboot Into recovery
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Flash MOD
- Reboot
How to install Manually :
- Extract the zip
- Copy all files to system
- Set permissions 644 (rw-r--r--)
- Move to system/app
- Reboot

push ExperienceFlow2LiveWallpaper.apk file in /system/app and add permission as rw-r--r--
then restart your device
Also push Setting.apk in /system/app and add permission as rw-r--r--
for show KitKat Easter eggs while taping on android version push framework.jar firstly in /system then set permission rw-r--r-- then move to /system/framework then replace.
after that your device will restart and showing android is upgrading wait till it's done then normally install signed-KitKatEasterEggHDPI.apk and you done
go and tap on android version it'll show KitKat style.
Ques. My Android version is still showing as 4.3?
Ans.. Open root explorer and navigate to /system and edit build.prop be careful while editing
change ro.build.version.release=4.3
to ro.build.version.release=4.4.3
now you done and got a KitKat Style from Z2
framework-res.apk is no needed to modify, I uploaded for further help.

but it gives you many features of Z2 like transparent home, systemui, live wallpaper, charging animation and main thing it shows KitKat easter eggs while taping on android version 4.4.3 so it's good

Here is the port of Z3 lastest 4.4.4 SystemUI.apk running on top of our 4.4.4 - 10.5.1.A.0.283 firmware.
I have ported it for my personal use, but I have also noticed that it runs much more smoother than our current one, so why not to share it?
Feel free to use it on your custom rom build, just give me proper credits for that!! ( also to @niaboc79 )
I have changed every resource hex id into smali bowels to match our 4.4.4 - 10.5.1.A.0.283 framework, so running it outside mentioned firmware version may fail.

lol :laugh: you're right with the "dummy" in PS3, it happens on xbox, and I think sony follows the same path, apparently improved in loading images but nothing new

Hi! I'm on eXistenZ Ultra 2.0.5 ROM. When I select a picture and click on throw, I get fc. Everything else is working fine. Any idea how to fix this?

I can't remember which version of Album I had installed, but it had a photo editor in the app. I used it a couple of times, but now it's gone. And everytime I tap rotate or use as, it says unfortunately, album has stopped

for conversation i think for kk also there was a bug of adding contact no in recipient
