SUCCESS! Nyandroid boot is going!
Replace the file in the zip with the one from the link
For slightly more clear instructions, open the .zip with your decompression software of choice.
Go to 'system\lib\'
Replace libposteffect.so with

Now flash, and watch rainbows through space

Until the OP updates his post I'm hosting the fixed ROM Get Mimicry 1.5.0 vivow fixed right here
So for any of you who don't want to try all the unzipping and rezipping, this is for you

okay I will.
meanwhile I installed the normal mimicry and not the ported one (mimicry vivow) and that one is working.
I think we do not need to fix ma problem anymore, as it might take too much time just for this.
case closed with the result ROM Port Andromadus Mimicry 1.5.0 (mimicry vivow) is not working anymore.
An OP might inform the creator to either fix or mark that ROM as broken?

ENG/Spanish

ALL Language
http://www.4shared.com/file/Li387IDO/androidinstallwithlanguage_3.html
Issues:
1. Camcorder don't work (same as other froyo)
2. USB tether not working
Recommendations:
1. Clear Dalvik-cache before installing ROM
2. Install on NAND both system and data (don't do HARET)
3. Turn off Mobile Data connection if not in use.
4. Try not to overclock when testing for stability
5. If you turn on your device an it does not respond, it's most likely in Fake Vsync. Just open the keyboard and press FN+Left soft button, then FN+right soft button.
6. DO NOT REBOOT (data corruption on reboots and shutdows still persists)!!! If you do then immediately Clear the Dalvik-cache and Fix permissions (may help, may not)
All Language version to follow soon.

You mean the boot animation? It should be in "/system/media/bootanimation.zip" if I"m correct. Otherwise the splash screen is just a KAISIMG.nbh that you flash. See this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=646186&highlight=splash

Thanks! I actually meant the boot animation
so your problem with the boot animation is that their is no boot animation file present in the file
it usually sits in the /system/media folder
i just added the boot animation from the newest fresh froyo and its displaying a boot animation just fine, did you get bluetooth working?

[ROM][11/11/10][G2/DZ] NO SENSE: 1.22.531.8 HTC Vision Stock with Online Kitchen (r1)

I'm pleased to present my repack of the stock ROM for the HTC Vision! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
Remember that if you use this ROM, you do so entirely at your own risk!!
About MoDaCo stock ROM repacks
Unlike a MCR (MoDaCo Custom ROM) release, a stock ROM repack is as close to the stock ROM as possible. Only root / Superuser and an insecure boot image is added. The benefits of the repack are providing a rollback option in update zip format as well as providing an online kitchen to remove parts that are not required.
A MCR release of this ROM is also available!
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
THIS ROM SHOULD RUN ON BOTH THE G2 AND THE DESIRE Z!
Features
Repack of the 1.22.531.8 (OTA) ROM
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
Changelog
Please see the post below this one for the changes in each release.
Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM (unless you are coming from a 'Sense' ROM), however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.
Downloads
This ROM is now available in the online kitchen - see the post below for details! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

Works perfectly. Very snappy. Using it with the ROM kitchen is a nice way to customize exactly the ROM you want. I used that to keep my old email.apk that doesn't ask for a alphanumeric password every time I want to use the phone.

Pual, I for the life of me can't seem to get this overclocked. I should be able to overclock this using the steps in the link below correct? Oh, and by the way I love the rom. I used baconbit, which was great until i found out I couldn't use my extended battery on it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813681
I've done a total wipe and installed your rom and my app with titanium. Here's the link.
I've put the ota ko file in the root of the my sd. And ran the attached .sh files in gscript, but all i get is errors.
Edit: nevermind I see that the OP to the overclocking post no longer supports it. I guess ill have to go with the new kernal and hope it works with extended batteries. Thanks for reading.

The ROM is packaged for installation via ClockworkMod. The radio / baseband is packaged for installation via either renaming to PC10IMG.zip and copying to SD card then rebooting to bootloader or by 'fastboot flash'ing the radio (both of which will likely require your device to be 'S-OFF / ENG' bootloader).
A MCR will follow soon.

Paul, can you clarify if this requires you to be running the last FroYo tmo OTA? Or can this be flashed from a clean wipe? I looked at the file system in the zip, and it looks like a full ROM, but I just flashed the odex'd version and got stuck at the HTC splash. Thanks man.

[PORT] Easy Defy to Bravo port instructions EDIT 10/28 -Now Working-

EDIT: There was an error in the file I uploaded in /ect/motorola. The error has now been fixed. You should now get a working signal when following the instructions. Please re download the "DEFY2BRAVO.zip". It has been updated.
Here is a list of what to do in order to get ROMs like CM7 and MIUI for the Defy to work on the Bravo. This method works PERFECT.
Before you start:
Download my "DEFY2BRAVO.zip"
Get Winrar
Get Notepad++
1) Open the Defy ROM you want to get working on the Bravo
2) Delete "boot.img", "devtree.img", and "logo.img"
3) Go to \META-INF\com\google\android\
4) Open file "updater-script" in notepad++
5) Scroll to the bottom and delete these 9 lines:
Code:
assert(package_extract_file("logo.img", "/tmp/logo.img"),
write_raw_image("/tmp/logo.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk1p10"),
delete("/tmp/logo.img"));
assert(package_extract_file("boot.img", "/tmp/boot.img"),
write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk1p15"),
delete("/tmp/boot.img"));
assert(package_extract_file("devtree.img", "/tmp/devtree.img"),
write_raw_image("/tmp/devtree.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk1p12"),
delete("/tmp/devtree.img"));
6) Open my "DEFY2BRAVO.zip" click and drag everything in \system\etc\ in my "DEFY2BRAVO.zip" into \system\etc of the ROM you are porting
7) Open my "DEFY2BRAVO.zip" click and drag everything in \system\lib in my "DEFY2BRAVO.zip" into \system\lib of the ROM you are porting
Done. You can flash this and everything up to the camcorder will work perfect. We still need the actual camera to work, so please help join in on the effort.
Enjoy whatever you just ported!
Excellent dude, I had it, but I'll copy everything so I can make ports also.
Do you have video camera working doing these steps?

I have a question for you BravoMotorola.
I'd like to make a custom rom from the system dump from gingerblur, so that we can install it as a normal rom, not as a restore backup.
Thanks.
We can also use rdannar's sbf when flashing these roms

And Walter released his ms2ginger 2.0. Unfortunately we can't port it beside it's a backup. I tried to do it but I got stuck on boot logo everytime

No, we cant do it this way, I think its not the same.
I'd like to convert this backup to a normal rom, but dont know how.
I hope that this version is not based on a kernel 2.3, because then we are not going to port it anymore, unless a code master come to us.

I tried also with good results! CM7 + CM9 is a good combo - allows us to have camera working as well as the latest and greatest AOSP. It's amazing how similar the two devices are.
The trick is to correctly allocate the sizes of the 3 ext-3 fsimages based on personal use. 300 mb was way too small for me
This mod definitely has lots of quirks though...if you don't know what you're doing, it might not work.
After downloading files, I would suggest looking at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21401063&postcount=249

Please try it again.
I tried three roms at a time and worked fine for me.
CM7, CM9 and MIUI.
I will try this rom to see if there is a problem with me.
WR and Pikachu were originally made to be used with 2nd-boot, but that never worked with the Bravo. I've never tried them on multiboot. I don't normally use multi boot due to too much music on my sdcard. That, and I had problems with roms with bugs/glitches they didn't have when installed to the system.
Honestly, WR is buggy as hell. I'd release an update, but I can't get some of the tweaks to work right and there's no radio after installing the updated one. If you want an updated WR, the closest thing is my current nandroid...The only problem is its touch recovery and I've never once tried multi boot with touch recovery.
I suppose I could remove touch recovery up my nandroid later today. It has working Bravia(yes I tested before and after and I made a difference), updated beats audio, 30 step volume, cyanbread framework themeing, brews coffee, the miui explorer from Defy forum, custom framework animations, transparent status bar/notification drawer, walks your dog, and zepplinrox's scripts already ran and set up. It has everything WR had except Go Launcher and Miui apps.
Autocorrect is pissing me off. Miui was Louis, Mohican, and Minuit. And my thumb is sore now.

You should access to your account in the rom so that everything updates itself.

Thanks, got Gapps working! Now I can't seem to figure out root?
A little late, but superuser was broken on ICS multiboot. Its fixed on the 0417 release.
Has anyone else been having problems installing multiboot when CM9 is the primary nand rom? It installs, boots to 2nd-system, but nothing works except boot from nand. Selecting anything other than boot from nand gives me the multiboot error screen and I have to reboot. The same zip works perfectly fine with CM7.

A system installed on the sdcard tends to use a bit more battery in my experience. That and the lost gigabyte of sd storage are the only disadvantages of using multiboot.
I will add that some roms have glitches when installed to the sdcard they normally wouldn't have as a nand install. Its a hit or miss when dealing with multiboot sd roms and glitches.
