[Script] CM11 Bloatware Cleanup Script - Moto E Themes and Apps

This is a Small Zip Package to remove pre-installed bloatware from CM11.
The apps that are bloatware for me might be a necessity for others. Hence, it may be a good idea to see what is going to be removed from the list below:
Code:
v1 - 20-09-2014
delete("/system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk",
"/system/app/Galaxy4.apk",
"/system/app/NoiseField.apk",
"/system/app/CMHome.apk",
"/system/app/CMWallpapers.apk",
"/system/app/HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk",
"/system/priv-app/CMAccount.apk",
"/system/app/MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk",
"/system/app/VisualizationWallpapers.apk",
"/system/app/PhaseBeam.apk",
"/system/priv-app/VoiceDialer.apk",
"/system/app/VoicePlus.apk",
"/system/app/WhisperPush.apk",
"/system/app/PhotoPhase.apk"
);
You could modify the file \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script from the zip file to add/remove/modify your own list of bloatware. If you do add and make your own script, feel free to share it as a reply so I could improve the script.

Instructions:
Copy the zip file to your sd-card.
Install it in TWRP.
Note: Flash it only after the first boot of CM11 is complete. i.e Flash CM11. Boot into system. Then, go back to recovery and then install the cleanup script. If you do not follow this procedure, you will get force-closes in SetupWizard at bootup. The reason this happens is because the script removes CMAccount.apk which is required by the SetupWizard at first boot to proceed.

Thanks , i remove all the same

Or instead we can simply freeze them using titanium backup....

Excellent work. Can someone make something like this for CM12.1 and 13 ?

I have decided to post the wipe scripts here for those KernelHolics & Flashaholics that are flashing kernels and ROMs constantly. I've made small modifications to these scripts FULL credit to the originator of them Credits below.
These are compatible with JB, ICS.
Since there have been numerous kernels recently being posted and people wondering what to wipe or what not to wiped here is the Kernel Cleaner.
1. Place the file in the root of your /sdcard
2. Flash Kernel Cleaner
3. Flash Kernel
4. Reboot.
Download: http://d-h.st/C6D
This second script I'm sure everyone is familiar with SUPERWIPE script.
Tired of wiping after every ROM or not knowing what to wipe to flash a ROM and have a clean install? Just flash this script & flash ROM easy right?
1. Place Wipe-Script in root of /sdcard
2. Flash Wipe-Script
3.Phone will reboot back into recovery
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot.

If it doesn't flash please tell me what recovery your using.
ONLY works for the MyTouch 4G will be available for other devices as well.

[BootAnimation][MOD][addon.d] Stock Nexus Boot Animation

This mod will backup your existing boot animation, and install the stock Nexus boot animation. This mod also includes an addon.d script.

What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This mod includes an addon.d script, so the boot animation is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this mod should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.
Tested and Confirmed to work on:
I have ensured this will install the correct resolution boot animation on the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10, but it should work on virtually any Android device. Let us know if it works!

The addon.d script was a nice touch. Thanks a lot for this!

[Q] Stuck on Boot Animation after flashing SuperSU on ResurrectionRemix ROM

ROM: ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.1-20160715-t0lte
SuperSU: https://download.chainfire.eu/969/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip?retrieve_file=1
Recovery: ClockWorkMod
So, I probably did something dumb and I'm stuck on the boot animation which loops forever. I can get into Recovery and Bootloader. I previously had a working install of the ROM listed above but I thought I needed to regain root (apparently it is already rooted but that was turned off or something) so I downloaded the SuperSU file to the device and rebooted into Recovery. I installed the SuperSU and rebooted but now I have the problem. Please advice. This is my first time ever using a custom ROM and I had it working fine before I did this to myself...

I suggest flashing TWRP as CWM has not been updated for a long time. Once TWRP is on the phone, perform a full system wipe and re-install a custom ROM.

Thank you for your reply!
I was unaware that CWM was so out of date; it did work well before I tried to root an already rooted ROM. But I will try TWRP in any case. Still, I was hoping to solve this issue without wiping/reinstalling everything as I have data I want to preserve. If there is no way out of this mess except that, I will use ADB to get what data I can, then reinstall.

How to upload the original build.prop file?

Hey,
I made root on my Shield TV 2017 16GB. All worked great.
I decided to edit the bulid.prop file to change the device name, but I don't think I did everything right.
I made a copy of this file on a PC before editing.
The trouble is that the device does not start. The Nvidia logo and the animation of the android logo are shown, which loads indefinitely.
I started the menu with A + B. I chose option 2 (Boot recoovery kaenel) and the second menu came up.
I chose (apply upade from ADB).
ADB detects the device in "sideload" mode.
Can I upload the file itself?
Do I need to restore the entire system?
Sorry for my bad English.
Best regards,

use twrp to push the build.prop to system..
if u cant figure it out then flash stock and start over
you can only flash official updates through stock recovery and adb sideload

Thank you. I was able to upload files using ADB Sideload.
The system started and works as it should.
