PAC-rom maintainer / new builds - Oppo N1

Hi!
Will there be new builds?
The latest is pretty old and I would very much appreciate an up-to-date pac version!
Thx for all the hard work!

Hey funky I got your email. I have had a hard summer. Lost a child and just General nonsense and been super busy. The computer hasn't really been my biggest concern but I can see what I can do.
They removed me from the N1 maintainer list because I haven't updated my threads and I haven't been around. I'll talk to them tomorrow to see what needs to be dine to get out back on that list. I also picked up the g3 for my daily phone but I do still have the N1. Hopefully here will be an update for you soon.
In relation to this is there anyone else who is using/would like to use PAC?

Take your time and take care of the important things! If there's anything I can do for you just message me
Very much appreciated your response! Thx and I wish you all the best!

Build is up funky, it's in the original dev section thanks for supporting.
---------- Post added at 08:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:54 PM ----------
Also wanted to say, since there aren't very many users from the N1, hopefully they will put me back into official status so it gets weekly builds. I can still build and upload if you'd like something newer during the weeks though let me know, but use the original dev forum, im signed up there for new posts.

weekly builds would be sweeeeetah
sadly i'm still a few posts away from being able to post to original dev ...
going to flash the RC1 now - is support for o-click/o-touch somewhere on the agenda? seems like last build from basketbuilds (pac_n1-nightly-20140825.zip) is missing these features
thank you very much for keeping this device alive in the pac world

I thought they were already there. It's pulling cm's latest source and I'm pretty sure they are in there. They might not have been in the 25th one because the source was all messed up. I'd have to look to see if I can find them. If you can't find them let me know
---------- Post added at 09:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:52 PM ----------
Also will try to get a new build up in a day or two. Weeklies aren't completely ready yet but I'll just do personal builds until then. Any want or need for a custom Kernel? I don't know anything about them but I might have time to see if I can figure something ouy

I have pushed a new build. I am now using pac's own basketbuild upload. The new build is available via the Pac Console app in the Dev builds Folder.
@funkymaster the settings you are seeking are indeed in the rom. I just looked on my N1. The O-click settings are in Settings > Buttons. The O-Touch settings are in Settings > Language and Input at the very bottom.
Let me know if there is anything else! Thanks for supporting.

nice! you are the man!
thank you very much for helping - much appreciated!

I created an organzation on github alongside deadman and Awesome and rebased to the lovely aospX source code (for stability).
Tonight deadman worked along with me to try and get our script all set up to properly repo sync (+some other things) and after a bit more work, I have managed to get it to where we can sync using the proper b2g command ./config.sh as stated correctly in the readme. This is kind of a big deal, because before, I was just working around some of the scripts doing things the traditional android way lol. There's still parts that are needed to be rolled back and stuff and who knows what there might be broken even after we get all that worked out, but I thought that there might be some other devs around here that may be interested in helping bring this over to us and possibly others who want to keep track of this.

This "build process" is just you syncing your repositories. There's still a mountain to climb once you get past this. It seems your manifest is off. When adjusting it look for things it says it cannot fetch. From there check to see if you got the repos and revisions and whatnot written out correctly in the xml in your manifest.

Our Glaciers would be able to rock 2 OSs (Android & Firefox) Can't wait.
A couple potential reasons for the repo sync error if you are still getting that:
First off.
Virtual or dual boot?
Which version of Ubuntu?
Laptop or Desktop?
Hard wired or wifi?
Potential Problems:
Unstable Wifi/ethernet driver- Recompile the driver
Wifi/router is going down- Keep the router awake?
MOST PROBABLE: Crappy repo file- Just delete the folder/make a new folder if you have space and make a fresh repo file and try to pull it down again.
---------- Post added at 11:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:41 PM ----------
Also, how many processor cores do you have? do repo sync -j(#of processor cores + 1)
a pleasant update.

Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.

@ jewnersey: It could be the greatest rom , if you can embedded camera features in the next update. Not forcing you to do that immediately, just requesting you since you are engaged with your job. Thanks.
cant believe how great this rom is..i agree..so so many options...one of the best custom roms ever had..it flashed perfect for me..ive read how some people are haveing problems with wifi not working,i flashed the rom, then kernal, then gapps, and wifi worked out of the box..if it diddnt i was gonna flash a diff recovery like philz and try again..normally that works for me...only issue ive had is when pressing language and input it crashes.i was gonna install a themed google keyboard and activate it as main keyboard but cant get into the settings to even see what keyboard is installed..but still love the rom and understand its a work in progress...thanks bliss team for this rom and port, much better then what i had before this!!!
update..now see witch keyboard is installed threw settings/apps....it is android keyboard..could request that android keyboard come with diff themed options i really like the shafta google keyboards, but cant install if google keyboard allready exsists, and i dont wanna mess with freezeing/uninstalling system apps
any lovin for the t705??
we uad some advancements but got stuck at the lte implementation.
could be due to the 4g/3g intel chip samdung used for its exynos chip.....
i feel so cheated out of my snapdragon 801.....
Am uploading a newer build that should be much cleaner and ironed out.
As far as other devices... I am not a developer, so bug fixing etc is currently beyond me... However, if there is a CM port for the device, I can probably port Bliss for that device, but all the shortcomings of the CM rom will exist in Bliss as well.. Either way, I will see what I can do after I make sure T700 is running smoothly.
New build is up.
Hey
It would be nicer if you have some specific screenshots. BTW, hope you guys can ported this rom to T805 lots of Asian users are waiting for you

Tried the new build. Tried to create a second user (which is a must for me). When trying to use the new user, the launcher crashes and basically wont let me do anything. With the new CM11 build, I don't have that issue. Which is weird, since I understand thats what your build is using.

I am basically relying on the real developers, so once CM or an equivalent arrives for 805, ill fire up a Bliss derivation.
Thank you for your hard work providing this rom! just couldn't stand the stutter of touchwiz.
one thing I desperately miss is the color calibration though.
I can't find the option in settings. could somebody please point it out to me?
another thing I noticed is that the tablet runs smoother when plugged in. when I pull the plug I have a tiny bit of stutter. Do you have any suggestions how to fix this?
Screen Locks automatically and frequently
Hi Jewnersy,
I appreciate your efforts in creating the Bliss Rom for Samsung Tab S (T700). I have been using the rom from the last two releases. I love the settings and customizations provided in the Rom . I observed one small issue in the latest build. I am using a Flipcover cover for my Tab. When I close the cover, screen goes off which is fine. But When I open the cover am able to the see the lock screen, but not able to unlock the screen by swiping the lock icon to right side. After swiping it to right side, screen suddenly locks again. After giving trails for 10 - 15 times, am able to unlock the device. While watching movies also screen locking unexpectedly. Please help me in getting a solution for the issue. Thanks again for your response & support in advance.

Don't think there are any color options built in to the rom unfortunately. Regarding stuttering.. I'm not sure I'm having that issue. The latest rom had been smooth as butter for me... Interactive governor, cfq, Westwood.
Dynamic status bar will cause constant stutter. Use the xposed mod discussed in thread as an alternative

WiFi is not turning on with the latest (12/15) build of the Bliss Stalk ROM for the SM-T800.
For some truly asinine reason XDA is forcing this reply into a separate Q&A thread (where it will undoubtedly go unnoticed by the developer of this ROM) just because I have fewer than 10 posts.
This post is INTENDED to be a reply to this post:

I switched back to the 11/27 build due to wifi not working on the 12/15 build. The camera doesn't work on 11/27, but the developer is already aware of that issue. Give me a few min and I'll re-flash the 12/15 build and check the camera.

Hello
Can you tell me if this rom work on tab4 sm-t530nu
And if is yes witch recovery hy need
Tanks!!
Thank you very much for your effort! It is a very nice and smooth rom. Super happy about the FC keyboard switching issue has been fixed.
I helped my friend to install it on the smt-320 with 4/09 rom and he cannot connect more than 1 bluetooth devices. He has to disconnect the first one in order to get the other one working. I haven't confirm this issue, i figured if i mentioned it and it may help others.
Thank you
Well, here's something interesting. Had a working install of the 409 version of Remix. Flashed the 414 over it and my Google login completely disappeared, nowhere to be found in Settings -> Accounts. Reflashed gapps and it's back. Not sure if 414 wiped it out, but nothing else changed. Weird.
AI.keyboard and Lastpass working normally, thanks for that fix.

Thanks Sumit Sen, this version is really fast and seem to be stable after running since 9 hours (couple of bugs in settings but not important) and with rotation and gps tiles, it's my ,best antutu benchmark 42,273, it's not only a number, the performance is really better than others rom, question: what "cm" represent in the name this rom cm-Resurrection_Remix_LP_v5.4.2-20150420-mondrianwifi
Is that a cm base?
Continue your great job, I will be their for your next release

Hi there, I want to use this rom. I have TWRP installed. Is a factory reset enough or do I have to use the advanced wipe settings? If I have to use the advanced settings which partitions do I have to wipe?
Thanks in advance.
can i use normal lp gapps?
Got redirected to this page since I don't post much... But if anyone reads this, it is a fantastic ROM.
Nice ROM, but I must say, I cannot use it because It for some reason makes my Tab REALLY hot. Even by the time it is booted up. it's extremely hot.

great rom so far
Loving it so far. Have some tweaks/questions/requests but I'll definitely run this one for a long time either way.
Issues:
Lock screen is not able to be turned off completely (this functionality would be nice to have again)
Lock screen button shortcuts cannot be turned off completely
Bluetooth options/connectivity settings are more limited than previous roms
User accounts cannot be turned off completely
User accounts will not save photos when applying them to your account
Thanks for the updates!
That the good one
Rr 5.4.3,
Just change, keyboard and camera, all other features runs perfect, stable and fast, best rom for my galaxy tab pro 8.4 for the moment,
Which has more features, resurrection remix or your temasek build?
Play services problem
I'm running temasek since may 18 without any problem, i don't understand why many guys have problems with Google play services, i did a test today, TWRP 2.8.6.1 clean install with tk modular pico gapps(94 megs) , reinstated all apk from playstore, everything run fine. Links for gapps that i used
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/tk-gapps-t3116347
I hope that will help you,

Temasek the best one for features
Download links
The download links seem to be dead. Are there active links posted? I used the search tool but did not find any. Just got the tab pro this week and hoping to try out the rom. Thanks.

Wow that's a lot of ROMs. No disrespect but honestly tho.. why so many? Is it mostly just different looks or other tweaks for some and not others?

Github and AFH have unlimited storage. The better question would be why not

Cuz it's "options".. No one can say "why not this/that one..??" Now ppl have a selection to see for themselves, find out which one they like or prefer.. How many other devices have such a large selection? Not many, if any besides maybe the Warp Sync N9515 have as many ROM options.. Some will stay updated, depending on the ROM teams, many won't. So from here the question becomes: Which do ya like the most?? I'm finding new ROMs here and there, each with it's own tweaks and benefits. Most we wouldn't have known about cuz most ppl just build the same 5 ROMs per device.. Just throwing it all out there
I tried out Orion and I'm really loving the performance of it. ONLY thing I wish it had was to move the Recent list "clear all" button to the bottom to be always visible. Suppose there is no way without having another ROM that offers that to get it? I chose Orion because it seemed to be the most tweaked and had newer commits to it. Battery is great and it is way snappier than stock.

Many of the ROMs are really great, some have tradeoffs but Orion is nice and Slim with a few extras. Great to hear, Thank You. Working on some more now..
- OP updated with addition of IncipientOS & XenonHD ROMs, they both have August 5, 2018 Security Patch.
- Updated builds of Candy ROM, CrDroid, Lineage, MoKee with August 05, 2018 security patches.. ENJOY!!
Great work. nice work on the source trees too.

Thanks mang!! A little editing made it a bit easier to port other ROMs so it was worth it

can you tell me if these roms include the native hotspot mod that usually comes with cyanogenmod and various others? i've noticed that people seldomly list this as a feature anymore, yet it's excluded pretty frequently as well... i haven't been able to get the provisioning thing in build.prop working on all the devices i've used, so i look for a rom that includes it whenever i can.

Yes it does have hotspot & all should be well, so long as you don't touch the build.prop on these Owens devices

every last mother lovin' one of these roms you've ported has it? holy ... jackpot. you're a freakin' wizard, i guess. i don't understand why it's considered acceptable that a carrier can dictate what you do with the hardware and the bandwidth you've already paid for anyway really. there's something really fishy about charging people once for bandwidth, then a second fee stacked on top of that because of what we do with it. seems like it should be none of their business. i mean, people don't tax them for all their data-mining bloatware that's effectively stealing the bandwidth we paid for. i like the free market ideaology on paper, but i think they should have SOME kind of regulations regarding those shady practices. why is a mobile device any different than a desktop computer? it's a bunch of balogna. thanks for your efforts, b.c. rich. you a musician, man?

Thanks bro! Yes, I am/was a musician but those days are few and far between anymore. Is there something wrong with the PayPal link? I'll check it out. And thanks again for the kind words, I agree with ya on the ridiculous data issues, they eat us up like crazy! The hotspot is a very much big deal for me too as my device is usually my only internet out in the woods so I try to make sure it's 100%, Lol.

Well the hotspot on Hexagon; i don't think is fixed because it allowed me to use my 8GB and i had to start using bluetooth for the time being. maybe i can flash another one and it'll work again. also, i don't know if its your rom or not because i didn't manage to get past the bug but, i wanted to try crdroid or whatever it was called. the one with the egyptian eye symbol, but anyway, during the setup process of that rom, it had some kind of little loop going on. right at the beginning, it asks if you want to restore your apps or something, ya know? and then so i'll put yes, from a google account; etc and no matter what route i take from there it leads me back to the first setup screen where you choose language.
it's a clean flash, wiped everything, and installed the rom, then open_gapps aroma, boots up fine, but the setup is jacked up. i tried it twice, but i didn't really go through any serious troubleshooting steps, i just flashed on a clean wipe, then flashed it right back over itself, thinking maybe a file was corrupt or something like that. got the same result twice, and i just restored my aosp extended install because i was having withdrawal symptoms from spotify. i don't really dig hexagon, so i guess i will give crdroid another shot and see how it behaves this time.
oh maybe i should mention, i didn't use this crdroid link, i used one that i found in your androidfilehost account under this device. i never looked to see if this one's newer, so maybe that explains it?

i also was disappointed by tipsy sadly. i've been a pretty big advocate of people using tipsy rom for a few years, since i tried it on my moto e lte phone back then, it's really a pretty clean distro. unfortunately, the one ported over in this post doesn't seem have any fingerprint scanning functionality in it, so that kind of chaps my satchel. didn't really like viper either. i'll try 'em all eventually, probably. i'm a compulsive flasher. i may need to update my titanium backup or something though, i haven't been able to restore accounts/data usage on any of these 7.1 roms so far. kinda sucks putting all that in manually because i have very secure passwords that i can't memorize very easily. the wifi passcodes and known networks restores, as well as my bluetooth pairings.

damn, i just drone on thinking outside my head sometimes. sorry about that guys. lol

You're OK, it's great to hear feedback and I thank you. Yes, sometimes I have a cpl different versions of ROMs in AFH and indeed, did update it from v3.8.8 to v3.8.9. I change my DL links in my AndroidForums threads.. Not everything I upload to afh is recommended for flashing because some are experimental or have issues I haven't worked out so plz be careful, Lol.
Also, I've never had much success with aroma gapps on this device so I stuck with a smaller one like Nano gapps, plus I set every ROM flash up as a new device. Then usually DL everything else a bit later after a reboot or two (but that's me)
i wonder if aroma gapps had something to do with my call screen error. the other day, i think my dialer app vanished or something crazy because whenever i'd recieve a phone call; i had no way of answering it unless i was using a bluetooth device at the time, but i never saw the 'in-call' screen at any point. also, i couldn't call out either. it would start the call, because i'd see my signal icon change to something else, and the only response i could get from the call i was in is a popup that said something about "return to call in progress" but didn't return me to it. i tried a lot of stuff with the google dialer software, because i assumed it was an issue with that. i ended up just dumping that and trying tipsy and hexagon and viper at that point.

have you tried restoring a TWRP backup on this device yet? i've only restored a backup of AOSPEX, but when it's through and android finally boots back up to the lock screen, whatever type of screen lock i have on the phone is changed so that i am forced to factory reset my restored backup. lol
like i said, i haven't restored any other roms, but it does it with AOSPEX every single time. if i have a fingerprint, my fingerprints won't work. if it's a pattern, the pattern has changed, and same with a PIN as well. i've never seen that one before but it was so odd that i didn't even really get upset, i sort of found it amusing.

I read somewhere that it's part of a security feature of FRP (Factory Reset Protection) in all N+ ROMs and ya have to go to each ROM ya used and added a fingerprint lock, then remove the F-print. Always remove the stored prints before switching to a different ROM/OS

To fix your phone issue go to Settings>Apps>"Gear Icon">Phone App and select your current dialer.
What happens is if the dialer included in the ROM is replaced by gapps the new dialer isn't set as your default dialer. The ROM can't find the old dialer anymore so it just doesn't show anything.

i actually figured this one out a couple days later, while i was just browsing to see if it was missing some permissions, but thank you at any rate. good tip. it seems like if you back off of the scene for a little while, it's a little rough trying to relearn all the things that have been changed in android. i have been using an older moto e (the 2015 LTE model) for probably three or four years, and then onto a samsung j3 which was awful. so a lot of procedure and stuff like systemless modifications has changed. what happened to xposed man? lol

Xposed became an inherent & near guaranteed SafetyNet check fail so almost all ROMs removed it from source to reduce the bug posts caused by Xposed.. Since it can still be installed with a flashable zip and Magisk also has a systemless version Xposed to help reduce SafetyNet fails. MoKee ROM still had it built-in until recently and I'll be updating.. LOS, AOKP, MoKee, and something else as soon as I finish figuring out how to totally unbrick my owens. Had it booting from an sdcard the other day and messed something else up so I'm back to square 1 for the moment. Me, @SuperR. and our ole buddy goose03 trying to help make a fastboot flashable FW for 44-12 to finish the unbrick job. If Moto had this already available, our work would be cut in half, Lol. It's going slow but we're trying since more ppl need this than just us and it'd be a great help to the community.
So y'all swing by @SuperR. 's Kitchen threads and tell him thank you for his work, cuz without his kitchen we'd probably not have even gotten this far. He has 2 versions, free and Donate ($15) but the Donate version excels in capabilities, options, has many plugins and the Donate version is what I use.
