Practically the moment you place the order it shows as 'preparing to ship'. Its an excuse so you can't cancel your order. It doesn't mean its coming any sooner. if you look further down on your Order Status Detail, you should see a Shipping Date of 10/14 to 10/16.

Just ordered one each of the Frost and Charcoal Black Note 4's for me and the wife. Got a shipping date of 14-16 Oct. Hope all the hype is true and they ship earlier, would be sweet... AT&T reps were saying that we get a free upgrade from 2nd Day delivery to overnight delivery automatically, anyone else hear about this? I asked this to a AT&T rep through online chat and over the phone and both said it is true.. Thoughts?

Most likely, all the note 4s are being removed from their nice Samsung (environment friendly) packaging, and put in crappy, way to small AT&T boxes without the new earbuds, for branding purposes. Plus, if we wanted a set of new samsung earbuds, that was originally packaged with the Note 4, we would need to buy them.
This is the part where I start to get REALLY antsy. And, next week when the first person posts that they got a notice about shipping is when I'll start to freak out and check my email, order status, and credit card activity about every 5 minutes!

Has anyone else received an email from att saying that due to high demand your device /accessory is not yet available for shipment? When I pre order the Galaxy Note 4 they also included a SIM card with the order. Apparently the SIM card is now processing but the phone is still shipping between October 14th and October 16th. I don't know what to make of that!

I did not get an email about high volume, and I pre-ordered much later (29th). If the email really did mean something, I surely would have gotten it. Perhaps it was just a fluke.

I'm a TMO preorder and mine is set for delivery Monday 10/13, as are a bunch of people. Is AT&T shipping theirs by the 14th as listed on the site? My friend is debating pre-ordering for AT&T.

I bought a NOTE 4 from TMOBILE to use on ATT - I preordered and got shipping status update from UPS that says my phone will arrive Monday between 10a-2pm - I think evleryone is shipping early - I wiould not be surprised if the "sim" purchase many have mentioned is actually the payment processing for the actual order and that you will be getting your NOTE4's early too - GOOD LUCK!

Me too. I ordered it on the 25th and it was supposed to ship yesterday. The 128GB model was available for same-day shipping (allegedly) so I cancelled my 64GB version and ordered the 128GB. I was on the fence about storage anyways to I'm probably better off. Of course, with my luck the new one won't ship until next year...

Yup, my ship date was the 26th. Still nothing.
There better be a good reason for these delays. Like way better QC. They should check each and every phone before they send them to the customers, and send "the blue tint ones" back to LG.

I have the Panda version pre-ordered through verizon... I think it's a first batch one that was set for "delivery on 11/1". Well, it's now past that but still not shipped. Like others, I'm hoping Google is quietly improving and QC'ing these screens now. If I get a blue color shift one, it's getting returned, now that it's been proven that some units do not have blue shift.

Hopefully my wife is going to be home when they arive because I'm fairly sure that Fe ex doesn't take things to Rexall and leave a pick up slip and instead takes it back to their depot which is 45 minutes away from my house. Yeah I thought about going the unlocked route as well, but after seeing the issues with activation some people were having I backed off of it. Hopefully we'll get ours before October.

The answer is yes. I ordered unlocked through Samsung on 4SEP (USA, 256GB, Black), and mine will be delivered tomorrow.

Smh. I spoke with one of the Tmobile reps on Twitter, and they told me the same thing that shows on my account - estimated delivery date of 9/17 to 10/7. T-Mobile has been dropping the ball on pre orders for the last few years.

Disagree. Last few years? T-Mobile almost always has my annual preorders delivered to me before Samsung's official release dates. This year I got the Watch4 Classic nearly a week before release and the ZF3 on the day of release.
Yikes, glad I never ordered through T-Mobile. The trade in deals were tough to pass up, but I'm not on a Magenta plan so I didn't get the full benefits. Hopefully you guys get yours soon.
