Can the unlocked T-mobile Note 4 be used on Verizon network and be able to get LTE ? - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

If I have an unlocked T-mobile Note 4, will I be able to use it on Verizon network and also get LTE speed?

The T-Mobile model doesn't support CDMA as far as I'm aware, so no.

That is too bad. I thought that if the iPhone 6 that is bought from the Apple store can be used on all carriers, then the latest Note 4 would have all the frequencies to be used on all networks.

I'd say it would as the snapdragon processor is the modem and this is the same across all the us version phones. As far as settings go it may be a bit involved or super simple.

Do a local trade for the vzw version.

I have t-mobile, but if I had att I wouldn't switch just because of handset availability.
If you are out of contract you should weigh the pros and cons of each in terms of coverage in your area, pricing of comparable plans to satisfy your needs, and THEN device selection.
Plus if you wait a lil longer you can maybe get your hands on the red version!
You realise you can get the AT&T GS3 overnighted to you. You just have to call up and ask for one.
I have a new line with the one x and I'm within my 30 days maybe I'll just see if bb has them. I would switch carriers based on horrible service that att has

LOL, Best Buy is not selling AT&T Galaxy S3's over the counter! I dont know where you have heard that, but you definitely haven't been following either of the 2 Official Best Buy Galaxy S3 threads.
If Best Buy does have them in stock for AT&T, which is a HUGE IF, they are saying they cannot sell them because AT&T has not announced an official release date/launch date. I know, that makes not sense and is a huge lie, but that is what they are saying.
So NO, Best Buy is not selling AT&T Galaxy S3's over the counter.

T-Mobile / Simple Mobile / Galaxy S3 ?

Until recently I have been with Sprint. And I am located in South Florida.
I am considering going with Simple Mobile as I'm told that T-Mobile has one of the best data speeds in this area. And I want to get a Galaxy S3 as the phone to use with this service.
Can anyone here advise as to whether this would work with Simple Mobile (I called them but they won't say anything only that they don't don't support it - meaning they don't sell it so don't bother them), at what speeds?
I also assume that I must get the T-Mobile version of this phone. That seems quite difficult unless I want to pay a big premium to T-Mobile, who charges much more than say AT&T for their version. So if anyone has any suggestions where I can get one (I would prefer a store, not eBay)?
Thanks
try the xda marketplace
edit: nvm just saw you dont have enough posts.
I read that the Sprint variant of the S3 would work on T-Mobile. You just have to unlock the phone I believe.
Sent from my S3
I remember negri sells the phone for $599 unlocked. That's the cheapest I've seen for the TMobile version. It's not cheaper by much but it's unlocked and you may save on taxes.

Simple Mobile is a Mvno of t-mobile so you don't need to have an unlocked T999. Just change the apn. A's far as speeds. I live in Central Florida and I get the same speeds as t-mobile. I recommended. As far as where to buy the phone. I went to t-mobile and paid $599 for it. Haven't really seen it cheaper.

It does have a sim slot but it's not user accessible.
It's hidden behind the plastic under the battery.
Sprint has taken this approach with all there LTE devices.
The only exception may be the Photon Q since it's touted as being a global device.

AT&T s4 on Tmobile

I am looking to buy s4 but can't find Tmobile variant at cheaper price than compare to att version. I live in Chicago where I guess Tmobile has switched on the 1900 band. I think? If I were to purchase the att version would I get the same data speed as I would with Tmobile version. 4g or lte ? Please advise.

T-Mobile Note 3 on AT&T?

Hey guys, I have a good local deal that I can take advantage of on a T-Mobile Note 3, but I'm on AT&T. I can use it if I unlock it correct?
Any preferred places to unlock it? Is there any disadvantage of running a T-Mobile Note 3 on AT&T? I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.

It's only missing Band 5, both models have bands 4, 2, and 17, which are the primary US LTE bands anyway (outside of Verizon's Band 13 that is).
While technically the T-Mobile version is missing Band 30, the AT&T version is missing Band 30 as well.

Ya it does. the pre release t mobile phones were able to be rooted but the patched it already for the phone that are shipping now.
Unlocking the bootloader is harder then rooting for the most part. What im interested in is if the qi charging back from europe are working on the tmobile lg g3....they are not on the att g3. Can you test this!? that would be awesome
