Hi G3 Xda Fam,
Im in need of some feedback from some of you guys.
Im needing to make a decision in a few hours if im going to buy this phone. I am coming from a Note 2, so if you have done the same what are the Pros and cons??
are you a heavy user? and if so are you always looking for a outlet? did you need to pick up an external battery/charger? and of course last but not least how are the custom roms for this beast? do they have alot of broken things like camera, HDMI out? Thanks for any feedback guys!!

Thanks for the response! Yup turned out to be a shady deal. So looks like its going to be the note 4 for me. Or maybe the new nexus....

just came across this video , that there is actually a lens kit for the Iphone which makes it cool to take nice shots and handy to carry
does Note 2 or any Sammy galaxy series have accessories like this ?

Sadly manufacturers won't bet on note 2 as there is no guarantee in sales

It has severe vignetting problems and lousy contrast and sharpness. Basically you get what you pay for.

Since I cannot root Note 2 4.4.2 any longer, any recommendations what phone to switch to that I can unlock and root? I like the size of note 2. I watch a lot of videos? Like S-Pen

You start this question under a false premise. Why do you think you cant root 4.4.2?????????
I'm using this app for a year now on my Note 2 (on 4.1,4.2, 4.4.2 ):

works perfect and does not need root permissions. The volume of the other person is a little bit low in contrast to yours but thats okay

This afternoon a friend called me and said a premier authorized dealer near him got 3 in stock today and were selling them. These stores are modeled exactly like the corporate stores but owned by another company. You guys might want to try those! Mine was a SpringMobile AT&T store.

Would be nice, but assuming the bootloader is locked like other recent phones, don't bet on it.

Yup, root is good for starters... I need my tibu, root Explorer, tethering and get rid of carrier iq....

Bootloader and root are 2 entirely different things.

Yeah really. LG didn't let ATT box the G3. That was a cool box. Samsung must not really care.

Hi,
It's like ChatOn, but appears to be specific to Samsung edge phones.
The reason I posted here was to start a discussion.. I wanted opinions and if anyone knew any special features about it then they might mention.. didn't really think it needed to go in the Q & A section because I had nothing specific to ask. Just thought it was a nice touch (only useful to people who had registered for it!!)
ya i got a s7 edge and always wondered about it. my friend got a note 7 and i finally got to try it out. couldn't see any reason why it is worth using

Watz up Note 8 community. Happy to say i picked up my Note 8 yesterday and do to my hectic work schedule haven't had a chance to root it yet but will definitely this weekend. Some of you probably remember me from creating the Stereo Speaker mod for various phones in the past, Nexus, S5, Note 3, 4, 5, Edge, 1 plus and so on. Would love to do it here for the Note 8 but i need someone to post the mixerpaths file for me and be willing to test my changes until i can root.
Once we get it working 100% ill create a bunch of various volume zips to flash and a return to stock zip as always in this thread. For now you will have to save your original file and side load the modded one. If your interested please post it here for me to download.
Obviously the only prerequisite is that you be rooted and willing to post your file. If you dont want to test thats ok too i will post the modded file here for anyone to test. Thank you.

K folks give this a try. Please save your original before replacing. If theres an issue you usually wont get stuck but I've ran into instances where my phone got really wonky and i had to reflash so there's that. I am confident, but there is 1 doubt stuck in my mind that i cant test at the moment until i root so please proceed with caution. If you have to ask how to replace your original with this one please let someone else do it. Appreciate it...

I know bro , Something similar happened to me, after having the note 4, I took the note 7 I had to return it and I ended up holding the v20, now I am happy with the note 8 ?

Yea it shouldnt b a problem its worked in the past but im not positive. Post your mixer file ill tale a look or wait till someone confirms it working then ill take a look at other variants

Snapdragon uses mixer_paths_tasha I believe, only Exynos uses mixer_paths

Is there a way of creating stereo sound on not8e without routing pls I am not very technical when it comes to doing this..step by step pls someone..I would like to have bottom speaker and earpiece working together when playing music
