please suggest some tool and productivity apps on Wfs and good games that aren't laggy

My choice: ROM Manager, Root Explorer, Uninstaller PRO, Sports Tracker, Barcode Scanner, PlayerPRO, GPS Status, AdFree...

i use: AdAway, Note Everything Pro, App Cache Cleaner, Barcode Scanner, Instant Heart Rate, Root Explorer, Juice Defender Ultimate, Rom Manager, Astro File Manager, WP7 Notifications, Agile Lock, Luck Patcher and SetCpu
Games i must have are:
-minigore, escape2012, draw something, angry birds space, break the bricks, 1 to 50, dude perfect, frisbee fever, turbo grannies, super stickman golf, labyrinth, scramble with friends and world cup table tennis

If you like temple run, search the market for 'run like hell' its fun, has great graphics and most of all no lag.

Yeah, but this is just a workaround to download the app. You can make them think you have a different phone, but you cannot change your hardware.
In other words, you will be able to get the application, but it will ether lag like hell or not work at all. Works smooth only in some minor cases.

I wanted to make a thread for some MUST haves for our phone.. Rooted or not (I am rooted of course). So feel free to list your favorites and must haves here!!

-AppBrain Market & FastWeb Installer (essential for app backups!)
-MyBackup Pro (i didn't like titanium, this is easier for me)
-Zedge (gotta pimp my phone!)
-QuickPic (alternative to gallery, some nice features and layout)
-SmsAwake (if you dont have SMS awake settings on your ROM)
-Beautiful Widgets (if you're not running a sense ROM)
I don't play games on my phone really...

What's the difference between ES file explorer and root explorer?

GB: Google music, pandora,ubermusic, reddit news, opera, 4ext recovery, titanium backup, orientation control, notifierpro plus, smart statusbar, cleartune, es file explorer, Go launcher
ICS: Apollo, Chrome for android, ICS Browser +, apex

I had to get rid of Pandora and BW the permissions are crazy stupid

Most custom roms have the ability to deny apps permissions. If you don't have the option on your current rom then try out:

You know, AirDroid looks sorta interesting, but for the life of me I can't get it to download. Regardless of what I do I get that annoying "unable to process purchase" error.....

Have you tried clearing data/uninstalling updates for the play store under 'manage applications'?
Not sure if this will fix it. I've read in other places that flashing a different version of the market and letting it update again will fix the problem.

Root Explorer-I really prefer the interface to ES. Enough, I was willing to pay for it.
Camera360 Ultimate- Best camera app IMO.
Docs To Go-Best pdf/doc viewer I have found.
Dropbox-If you haven't gotten a Dropbox account yet, you need to click HERE.
Google Voice-Been using this since Beta for VM. Love it.
Google Music-As soon as I could, I jumped on this bandwagon.
Jump Desktop- awesome and easy remote desktop access.
Zumocast-Because Jump doesn't allow the same kind of file transfer (had to get a hacked version to work with DInc2).
MD5 Checker-Self explanitory if you're rooted
PdaNet-Wired and Wireless Tether in one app.
The Chive-Keep Calm and Chive On!
GotYa! Face Trap-If I lost my phone or it was stolen, I would be very glad to have this app on there.

If you are flashing between different ROMs a lot, then App2Zip is a great one! It just came out so it may/may not have some bugs, but it is available on the Play Store!

Looks promising if it works! Lol now just to find a way to backup homescreen on ICS... MyBackup Pro doesn't do it, i think its an ICS problem..
What browsers do you guys use? I've been using Maxthon for a while but used to use Dolphin

goo.im - to keep on top of new ROM/gapps/kernel etc.
picFolio - ideal to transfer photos to your picasa online.
Notification Toggle - allows quick access to frequently used apps (shortcuts) from the notification dropdown.
taptu - if you're into news - very configurable.
Appy Geek - news for geeks.

Its all a personal choice , here are mine :
1. Titanium Backup Pro - Backup app
2. Terminal Emulator - running your Linux command like EFS backup and more
3. Links2SD - Move apps from internal to External SD ( Note stores all app on internal storage)
4. ROM Manager - 1 stop rom control / flash
5. Triangle Away - reset your counter
6. BuildProp editor
7. Xposed Framework - Change your UI ( ex: transparent status , battery , lock screen and many many more customization)
8. ES-File explorer
9. AdAway - now not in playstore can download from XDA.
10. Tasker - Probably the best paid app out there

Android Firewall is a must too. I have it Deny All by default and only allow apps that I know are needing Wifi or 3G access. The rest are not allowed to connect to the outside world.

Greenify definitely recommended ! Hibernates your App till you manually open it again. After using it , it again hibernates thereby cutting off synch and services associated to it - which means you can use that app when ever you want at the same time ensuring it doesn't keep lingering at the background when you are not using it :good: .. Till now saving me some good amount of RAM & Battery, the only drawback it cannot hibernate system apps - like Google Music , which keeps auto starting .

I've converted maps and play music to user apps with titanium back up and successfully greenified them. Unfortunately some system apps can't be converted but a lot can

Obackup- Nandroid backup in cwm or twrp with outgoing in to recovery.
Disable services- to desable some system or user app services.
SQlite-to open database files
Usb mass storage unabler-to unable mass storage mode in note2 instead of MTP. Only for external sd cars.

not much root apps i use myself though,
- titanium backup
- mobile odin (trying it out at the moment)
- gmd spen (once i switch to 4.2.2/4.3 still need to get a new sd-card first )
- SG USB Mass Storage Enabler (added to my list after i read about it, awesome app to get back the normal mass storage instead of the MTP connection samsung comes bundled with)
- lucky patcher (don't know if i can name that one here if not please remove this line ^^)
- adaway
there's only 2 apps i really use though, thats TB for my backups and adaway to get rid of those pesky adds mobile odin is something i have just i case, not something i really use on a regular basis.
gmd spen might be scratched from the list, and usb mass storage enabler as well, still gotta try out if that one actually increases anything in the transfer speed, if not i'm just gonna stick with the MTP as i can use my device at the same time then .

Piano melody - I like to play piano, kind of master, best piano app ever I came across
google camera - easy to use, fast & simple
offline Dictionary - great app, helped me lot, when network coverage not available.

I use Folder Mount.
It moves the files from internal memory to external SD card. Works wonderfully.

Themes / Apps / Mods Must-have Apps For Your Phone?

We all have apps that travel with us from device to device, the ones you couldn't see yourself NOT having. So, what ya got?
For people new to the Fold series (such as myself), what are your must-have apps from your standard form factor phones that you definitely want on your Fold 3? For those who do have some experience, what are your must-have apps that you recommend on the Fold?
My favourites (links included) would be:
-Nova Launcher Prime. Well worth the upgrade to premium, and will hopefully work well on the Fold! Been my go-to launcher since the OnePlus One.
-Black Wallpapers. They've got a pretty solid selection of wallpapers in loads of categories!
-Zedge. Ringtones? Notification tones? Absolutely TONS of them on here, could not recommend enough!
-Moon+ Reader Pro. If you read a lot, this is a no-brainer. Easily my favourite app for reading on a phone/tablet. Supports a bunch of different file formats! Free version also available.
-Thumper. I love this game so much, I have it on my phone, PS5, and PC, and regularly play all of them. Awesome rhythm game, not like your typical rhythm games though.
I'm also eager to check out The Room game series on the Fold. I've never played them on a tablet, just a phone, so I can't wait to try them out on a big beautiful screen.

Google Photos: every picture/video I take goes to the cloud right away so I never lose memories.
notif: lets you put little reminders into the notification shade
WallRod: frequently updated pack of minimal wallpapers

Root Explorer for file management...........have been using for several years (and you don't have to be rooted).
Launcher - have been using Nova Prime (currently using the beta releases). Wondering, of all of the launchers in the Play Store, which is the best for battery saving?

Try WallCraft. As soon as I opened it, it identified my device and resolution and will only show wallpapers that fit. I'm sure you can find whatever kind you'd like in there, there's TONS!

SOT, but do you use Google photos or Samsung gallery?
