oh. the button on the top. If its not responding then you might need to get a replacement.
I'd hope to not have to void my warranty anymore than I have
Guess you could try squirting some air in/around it. See if you could blow off whatever is making it stick or not make contact.
Just an idea....

Tmobile gs 3 how to make a screen shot?

My friend told me use palm to cover the whole screen then it can make screen shot but I try it not working
You have to slide the SIDE of your hand across the screen either left or right
Covering the screen with your hand mutes sound like music ect.

I can't get that slide your hand trick to work. You can press the home button + power button to take a screenshot too.
It's very simple.. This should help http://www.blogyourearth.com/en/sma...-samsung-galaxy-s3-palm-swipe-to-capture/3986
Make sure yu have the setting on.. Settings /motion / palm swipe to capture also the side of your palm has to be TOUCHING the screen as your swiping.. I've seen others with this problem they were waving their hands across instead of actually touching the screen...

Thank you
Why not just check youtube

That's one way. The easiest way, IMO, is the hold Power + Home button combo.

I still can't get this to work. If I touch my palm to the screen, the notification bar comes down or the screen swipes to the next page or something. Maybe I am just stupid. I will just just the button method forget this gesture crap.

Don't use your palm face down to do it.. You have to turn your hand right and use the SIDE of your palm then swipe across like in the picture in the link I posted.. Good luck hope you get it!

How to get the S Pen to work on back and menu button?

I really like this S pen but is there anyway to get it to work on the back button and the menu button. I find it very annoying I have to use my finger on those 2 butons rather that te s pen.
Any ideas?
Thanks
There are quick commands you can use on the screen to simulate those buttons.
While holding down the button on the S-Pen, draw
"<" to simulate back
"^" to simulate menu

On your phone, go to Settings -> S Pen -> S Pen help -> Gesture
All the S-pen gestures are listed there.

The concept of having a hard Home button is a joke. Just make it the same like the others. But, I've never liked the capacitive buttons either for the problem you are mentioning. The gesture shortcuts help, but it's just a workaround for the problem.

^^ This and you can make your own gestures as well.....
You can enable the on screen soft menu. You have to add a line in system/build.prop. You have to be rooted.

Buy the app
Gmd spen root.
You can make any gesture you would like for back or menu or home. I have even enabled an option so i dont have to push that annoying button on the s pen for back and menu. Google gmd spen root note 2 and there is a free 2 day trial. After the trial i immediately bought the app.
EDIT
Try this

You can also activate the menu and back buttons by holding the S-pen button in, pressing the S-Pen on the screen and dragging down just above the buttons
Thank Enrique Huerte on G+ for that secret maneuver.

Very easy.
Just go into settings, and click on the "Display" tab then click on "Home screen" and click off "Smart Bulletin".
EDIT: Something must be wrong with my PC, I replied thinking no one helped you out, but it seems like the other posts just didn't show up for some reason. Not to mention i didn't realize this was a necro'd thread.

Where is the menu button on Nougat

Dudes... Where is, or how can I enable a menu button. Pressing the menu button just invokes the split screen.

Don't know if you are still having trouble.... But apparently it's a triple dot menu button On-screen if the app supports it. Found it off of HTC Bolt forum :/
Just updated to nougat today. Home button thing is driving me crazy. It's hard to reach all the way to the top of your phone to get to the menu :/
