[ROM][Jan.04.2015]UnOfficialCyanogenMod 11.0 - T-Mobile LG G3

This is an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 11 for the D851.
It may work on other devices but you do so at your own risk, in fact, everything you do is at your own risk.
I take 0 credit for this as all I did was compile the builds. As I have said before thank those that contributed to getting it going, I'll build every so often if anything major changes or someone request a newer build.
All source is available on CyanogenMods github. To steal a line from sportsstar89-

I use PA Gapps when running any AOSP build.
In order to get mobile data working I had to go to
Settings
Mobile Networks
Access Point Names
Edit T-Mobile US LTE from fast.t-mobile.com to fast.tmobile.com
or select T-Mobile US LTE IPv6
Installation:
Only tested with TWRP, thats what I use.
Download the ROM / Gapps and place on your SD card
Reboot to recovery
Make a backup of your stock software if you choose
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Install the ROM / Gapps
Wipe Cache / Dalvik
Reboot and Enjoy
Updating a build should not require wiping
I'll continue to build CM11 for a while, at least until updates for it stop.

Yay

D851 ROMs on fire lately!

Not working for me... I did dirty flash..
Bluetooth will toggle on and search for devices... It connects and pairs with my LG tones but upon playing music they disconnected and said out of range... The search for device option doesn't work. But toggling BT will get it to show devices.. We are close!!

anybody confirm BT working with a dirty flash?

Updated, working now.

It's still a step in the right direction and very much appreciated. Thanks!

@Ducter I probably speak for the majority here in saying thanks and your thread/build is welcomed by the community.

Updated thread, Bluetooth is working now. I think everything is working good now thanks to those that have been working on it.

I flashed it on top of the previous cm (from the other thread) and I can pair with my g watch but as soon it pairs the watch says disconnected... I will try a fresh install.

Did you reset your 360? Just checking? The watch is connected specifically with the ROM it was set up with...so new ROM means you have to reset the watch.

I thought the most recent update made it so that you don't have to reset to pair to a new device, and added device options under settings?
Irregardless, I did not reset my Moto 360 and paired from the new menu under settings. It paired, but immediately disconnected. I deleted the phone and the phone could no longer find my watch. I reset and reinstalled the Wear app, and it paired just fine and didn't disconnect after. So try resetting your watch.

Has anybody noticed Qi charging working better for them with CM over stock? I didn't have to play with my charger last night like I usually had to with LGs software.

This phone is perfect now. Thank you devs.

Official Nightlies are now being built. For those who have moved on to the new version, it's time to leave the old CM10 thread behind. Please use this thread to discuss CM10.1 issues so we don't confuse 10 and 10.1 issues (which seem to be fairly distinct between the two).

As far as I can tell, this CANNOT reliably be flashed over CM10, you must wipe data/cache for upgrades from CM10 to CM10.1
Reports of items not working:
* Wifi Tethering is not implemented yet
* 3G symbol does not show even though 3G is connected. (This works fine on mine)
* Camera Blur in preview (photos are clear though) (This also works fine for me)

My 3g symbol is fine, but I have yet to see the 4g or hspa symbol even though it is clearly flying on 4g speeds. Btw, even though they say not to, I updated using the cm updater over cm10 without wipe and had no issues. Just had to flash new gapps, flash superSU and reinstall various Google apps and had no issues at all. 10.1 is the bomb. Panacea for all the 10.0 ailments.
Cool

which gapps do we download for 10.1 ? 12 12 2012??
I've been using the rom for less than 12 hours and I'm in love. all the qualms I had about 10 are gone in 10.1. I'm having no issues. Though I can't seem to find photosphere in the camera, perhaps that's why the 10.1 camera never worked right in 10 so they removed it to get a stable camera in the build?
Wi-Fi hotspot does just hang at turning it on, I don't have a logcat, but I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. Oh! It stopped saying turning on, but I wasn't able to connect, even when manually entering the AP name and password. It does appear USB tethering works, we'll see when I hit submit reply!

NOTE: This is pre-nightly status. It is very likely things will go wrong. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for damage to your device.

Changes:
(11/8/2013) - Enabled transparant nav/status bar in the launcher. Despite what Google claims it works fine.
(11/14/2013) - Fixed video playback. Now using 4.4 binaries.
REMEMBER: FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
Awesome. Thanks for this. Will flash soon.

I'll give this a go.
Booted up!! first thing i noticed there is no google now, only the search bar so i can search but no cards
Edit: i got it by putting the google now widget on a screen and it prompted me to get google now.
Yeah the Google now issue has to do with Cyanogenmod's hooks into the setup process. It currently overrides the question about Google Now. You can manually enable it by opening Google Settings and toggling it on.
For the rotation issue -Landscape/protrait... Use the "Ultimate rotation control" from Play. works great.:good:
Getting a Status 7. Any idea on howto fix this?
Use cwm6.0.4.3 for 4.4. The others wont work at the moment.
Wow that's very smooth and fast ! But video playback is broken. Promising ...
Flashed this rom and everything works fine except of video playback, but I know its cause of the binarys?
Another thing i noticed is that the google launcher runs very slow and laggy. Anyone noticed that to?
Anyways...looking forward to the next build

*facepalm* I'm ashamed at how easy this really was. but If anyone is still wondering how to get Google now again, just press and hold on the homescreen and click the settings icon, then enable it.
Wanted to try this, but after updating from my CM 10.2 nightly, I got stuck in the CM logo for 5 minutes before going back to recovery and restoring my backup. I used the latest CWM version available (6.0.4.3). Any ideas?
It's certainly need a full wipe : Factory reset + format system

Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Factory reset don't wipe sdcard (data/media in cwm). But all application datas will be lost
Yes, it's true I didn't wipe. It was never needed when upgrading from one CM version to the other. Not from 9 to 10, not from 10 to 10.1, etc. I'm not talking about N10, just about devices I had CM running previously.
It doesn't make any sense wiping for no apparent reason. Google doesn't require you to wipe from one version to the other, neither does Apple. So far this was the case for CM as well, which of course is based on Google's OS.

4.4.4 MIUI AOSP based (coming very soon)

Figured i would start a thread so we can share what we know so far. It is getting close and there were a few beta builds but nothing public. Looks like it will make a huge leap currently it is 4.2.2 for v5 but v6 looks to be 4.4!

Well it has been a while since I have been here but figured I would give everyone a little preview. Also I need 5 testers who have sprint service and 4G LTE that can test for me since I am on cricket service. What I have is an AOSP based 4.4.2 MIUI!! Please send me a PM if you want to test. First five who reply will be able to test. I also have one extra spot for someone who has followed my MIUI work and I will shoot you a PM about this.
If you don't get enough testers PM me. I don't have 4g at home and won't be back to work until Tuesday to test those functions but I would be happy to help if needed.

Okay here is a new tester. I have included the aosp dialer (miui dialer does not want to work) along with a few other aosp apps. Also miui superuser does not work so you will have to flash supersu if you want root.
Known issues
miui dialer
miui themes
camcorder (settings need to be changed video encoder needs to be mpeg4) change settings before turning on recorder
everything else I have tested works gps, mms, calls, data (on cricket network not sure about sprint users still waiting on feedback)
Extras I have included
AOSP stuff
dialer
music
gallery
nova launcher
trebuchet
beanstalk explorer
terninal C-lock widget
Instructions
1. backup current rom
2. flash rom
3. flash gapps
4. flash supersu
5. boot and enjoy

I don't know if your upload or my download was corrupt on supersu but I had another one and that worked fine.
Install worked great. boot time was reasonable. I couldn't get your dialer to work so I grabbed one from the play store (first one in the list by modohut) worked fine at least for outgoing calls haven't tried calling in yet. I couldn't get sms to work at all so I installed hangouts and that works fine for me(not my preferred app but it works). No other issues so far but I am still testing. Thanks for the upload.

You have working 3g and 4g data?
When you installed you only had one dialer? The posted zip should have miui dialer (not working) and an aosp dialer. The stock SMS/MMS worked for me see pic below. FYI Google xda lg g3 keyboard. Works great on this ROM. Also try out WSM tools along with the mi-tools module. This is a mini version of xposed and works well also.

3G seems to be working I am getting 400k to 600k down, I don't have 4g in my area but I do at my work so I can test that on Tuesday.
There were 2 phone icons one in the dock which is green the other on the desktop which is blue they both force close on me. I used http://www.callmylostphone.com to test incoming calls and I am indeed able to call with the the one I downloaded. I have never used the one from the play store before I just wanted to see if a random one would work.
Not sure why sms didn't work it didn't give any errors but didn't send anything either.
I will try the new kernel and let you know how that goes.

Philz has an option to do a wipe for a rom install, I did that as well as wiping cache and dalvik. Is there anything else you would want me to try? I would be able to try reinstalling tomorrow morning (almost my bed time now). The kernel you PMed me boots and shows in about phone. I downloaded Synapse from the playstore, wow that is a lot of options not sure I should be messing with some of them but I will definitely try a few of them out.

Note: I do not have an L900 so this is untested but should work.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY EARLY BUILD, THERE WILL BE BUGS.
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for bad things that happen as a result of flashing this.
Prereqs:
- Use kitkat recovery
- Must have unlocked bootloader
Notes:
- Wifi must be turned on, doesn't need to be connected just has to be on otherwise you may experience reboots when screen turns off.
- Mobile data takes roughly a minute or 2 to come up after a reboot
- NFC doesn't work
- GPS doesn't look to be working yet

A couple of issues
1. When I make a call and try to hang it up before the other person answers, the screen says hanging up, and the call continues, and there is no way to hang up the call then.
2. Cant change the APN to get mobile data.

If you haven't already tried wispoffates mentioned in the cm11 thread he was able to reset them and it worked. I'm not sure if he meant just for data or both data and calls and I'm also not sure how he did it. In cm11 you just hit menu then hit restore apns but I haven't had a chance to install this yet so I don't really know. Good luck!

If your on sprint. Click the menu and reset apn. It won't fix the display but it will have data. Otherwise you will have to wait for a later build with some fixes committed.
Edit... Too slow

I am on Ting so I do require the APN change to get data. I will keep an eye out for an update, because the rom was running pretty smooth for an early build.
moving from Miui on a test device ... will report back after flashing! great to see this!

Boot took a solid while when flashing from philz touch ... keyboard wont pop up in initial set up to enter name / wifi password, but already connected to LTE.

Very slick and fast! Keyboard needed to be manually selected. Haven't tried GPS yet but all Google play updates and audio working great.
Thumbs up!!
Been using this rom for about 2 hours and seems pretty solid for such an early build. Had a hiccups when scrolling through notifications (had to start scrolling at the top of the notification stack or the pull down settings would come down) and the back camera doesn't work. Keyboard wasn't enabled on initial startup. So far so good though.
Just wanted to say thanks to all involved for making this ROM, keeping my Note II viable will donate soon.
I deleted some system apps with root explorer, but im still getting fc's from those apps. What did i miss?
edit: clearing cache in recovery fixes it
Thank You!
I installed this Rom yesterday and i just wanted to thank you for giving my old L900 new life again! although this is beta im quite pleased with this rom. Thank you for all your hard work and making me keep my note 2 for a bit longer! Cant wait to see how this Rom progresses its solid already in my eyes :good:
Camera
Rear camera doesn't work. Anyone have the same issue? Sorry if I missed that in the posts somehow.
So far so good! I'm loving it. And I usually don't like black on white... For some reason I'm sticking with... Guess cause its 5.Zero!!!

Although I have been having a problem since installing, my Galaxy S4 keeps randomly restarting
Something happened to my phone where I can't flash any ROMs anymore. It comes back as an error, and incompatible when it's a sgh m919 ROM without a doubt. I wish I remembered what the error said, but it's frustrating the crap out of me. This happened when trying to flash the carbon ROM on my phone, and same thing happened when trying to flash this ROM.
What gives? Any advice?

Yep, I have the newest version of twrp. To clarify, I'm getting error 7. The one that says the ROM you're trying to flash isn't compatible with your phone, even though it absolutely is. Happened with every ROM over been trying to flash lately.

I'm running without issue.... I have busybox and chain fire root for better speed....
Uh, How?
Can someone tell me step by step what I do?

I don't want to mess anything up, but I hate the way the default OS on the S4 looks.
Any update on bluetooth for jfltetmo on CM13? Last I heard from a few days ago was that bluetooth was working sometimes but would often crash, requiring a reboot to fix. Can anyone comment on reliability?

My bluetooth has been crashing for months on the jfltetmo CM13 nightly channel. If I turn bluetooth on, it works for about 5 minutes before it crashes and starts throwing "Unfortunately, Bluetooth Share has stopped." every minute or so until I reboot. I did a factory reset, which fixed it for about 24 hours before it went back to crashing. Does anyone know if there's a way to get in touch with the developers to let them know about this? Bluetooth is a really important feature for me.

Unfortunate, but that's what I expected. I will just wait longer. I am on 12.1-20160114-NIGHTLY and the bluetooth is usually stable. Crashes sometimes though (once a week?).
The CM dev's don't care. They really do not. Don't even bother trying to get anyone's attention. Remember? These are same guys who launched XDA's "YOU ARE NOOB WORTHLESS SCUM" campaign.
i wanna ask , whats the cyanogenmod recovery img made for?
