Music randomly stops playing?
Just converted from CM to PA and absolutely love, but the only gripe is that music randomly stops playing, and I have to go on to the next song to get it working, and it randomly occurs with no set interval, sometimes less than a song-length apart, sometimes 20 minutes apart, etc.
The only instance this ever happens is on Paranoid Android. I've never had the issue on CM nightlies, and I've tried different combinations of Paranoid Android and GApps, which someone stated might have been the issue, but my last attempt was the latest beta with stock signed GApps rather than PA GApps, and the issue is still there, so I'm thinking it's the kernel. Google's brought me to Samsung solutions, some of which I've tried but nothing. Was wondering if this is an outstanding issue or is it just my device.

I'm fairly certain that this is a known bug on this rom.

Running Beta3 without any issues. It's just that the double tap to wake stops working without any reason.
Have rebooted, wiped cache and dilvik cache but still its not working.
Any ideas!!

i just installed Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 and there's no sound. is there any sort of workaround for this?

It was a known issue, but beta 5 is out, no issues

Xposed module called pic2sd or something similar

I've been peeking around XDA for probably around two years now if not longer, and have been running PA on my M8 since Beta 2. I have to say, I love this ROM - so simple, yet so sleek. I don't have any known bugs as of yet for B5 :good: and I look forward to continued updates! Thank you again for all your work!

So when going into floating mode with hangouts it seems to close any app in currently using using beta 5 clean flash any reasons as to why?

Not on PA at the moment so I can't test, but do you have a theme applied? And are you on the PA kernel? I crossed through a random post somewhere where the user deselected his theme and apparently it's been fixed.

Does anybody know if building for the m8 from the lollipop branch already produces a usable rom?

Pretty sure I'm out of luck here and kind of screwed :/ but I edited the build.prop to 640, after saving etc. and rebooting I'm bricked. Phone won't boot pass the LG screen - and can't get into any sort of recovery. If anyone has any suggestions I would highly appreciate it. In that 'freak out' mode right now so please leave any criticisms to yourself. Thanks.

Anyone hit deep sleep? Tried this and the PAC-MAN version and I'm unable to to hit it.

Make sure the phone is powered off. Power it back on while holding the Power button and the volume down button. As soon as the LG Logo appears, let go of both buttons and then hold them again. You will get a message asking if you wish to factory reset. Select yes and and it will boot to recovery. Reflash the rom and you should be fine.
Pretty hard to "brick" a phone from modifying your build.prop

Video Recording
Won't let me post in the main thread (new account), but it looks like the video recording issue is related to old drivers

Work Around for Hung Lock Screen
Occasionally, the lock screen becomes unresponsive to touch. I've found consistently that turning the screen off, then holding a finger on the touchscreen while pressing the power button to wake it up causes it to become responsive again. Can anyone else verify?

Spotify
Is Spotify working for anyone? I get an instant reboot when I open it. Tried clearing data, and uninstalling/reinstalling.
Also, seems that once it gets done rebooting, my SIM is unrecognized and I can't get data unless I reboot manually.

First off, the ROM is great overall so thanks for all the hard work. I have two issues, but neither is a big deal.
First, I can't encrypt the phone. When I try, it just reboots and sits on the boot up screen.
Second, Google Authenticator force closes. It will open, but as soon as I hit "Begin Setup" it just closes.
Is there any information on either of these issues?

I've been using this as my daily driver for two days now and there's only been one kernal crash!
Less apps FC than with the stock ROM... this build is amazing. Thank you!

Is there a way to change the order of the navigation keys?

All lollipop builds are very similar from a feature standpoint at the moment.
I'm running with Phantom because he is doing am excellent job keeping everyone updated. ?

Dialer crashes while connected to a Bluetooth device.

I have followed the recommendations to use the Nexus camera and it works for pictures. However, video recording does not work for any of the camera apps I have tried. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have been on this ROM for about 2 days and now m experiencing huge battery drain chiefly from some miscellaneous power use.It almost uses 60 percent of my full battery charge.Anyone having the same problem?
Is it some bug of this ROM

Actually I am getting great battery life after installing greenify and freezing gsam battery monitor. Everyone has different apps, settings, etc but that's my experience.

bluetooth issue

Not sure if im the only one but:
receiver = car audio system bluetooth
Bluetooth connection seem ok ( Bluetooth icon on phone and receiver )

How exactly do you enable the unlock box? This is for a SGH-i474m

will it work on the d2can? As I have tried and it basically says since my device is d2can its not compatable.
So of it does work and I don't see why it would not since the att model is the same as the canadian model how do I make it work?

I had to update my phone's bootloader and modem to get the sim redetected.

Comments earlier in this thread were stating we needed to be on NE4. But I had to get to MJB first.
However once I got MJB installed the sim card started working again.
So it looks like we need to be on at least MJB if the sim card does work.

Does anybody have a android wear device connected to their phone with this ROM, I'm getting a g watch for Christmas and want to know if their are any issues with LiquidSmooth or Lollipop in general on this device in terms of Bluetooth, I know that the dialer closes when Bluetooth is connected, but is there anything else?

I've tried the d2tmo (12/21) with UVEUNC2, but like others no service after install.. went back to backup SGH-T999

Liquid Lollipop Camera App
I've had decent luck with A Better Camera on the latest build (12-20)

I have flashed "LS-LP-v4.0-2014-12-21-liquid_d2tmo" on my SGH-T999. After first boot, its not activating cellular service and giving some error. Also baseband is unknown in which should be UVUENC2.

After flashing d2tmo-12-21, not getting service. But flashed d2att-12-20 to my d2tmo device after a little editing, getting cellular and data service now but battery is draining very fast and some applications incl. camera & chrome are not working. So decided to rollback to LS 3.1 which is very stable with my device, will try again with new version. Overall appreciated the hardwork as graphics are very smooth and some functions added in this LP5.02 since LP5.00

Is the navigation bar work on the 2/13 build, along with navigation ring customization?

I don't think it's specific to this ROM. I was on LiquidSmooth before switching to Fusion and I can't connect my Jawbone Up24 with Bluetooth on either one of them. Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing the problem.

Dark theme and Lollipop
I think that, in general, light themes are more interesting for Lollipop. The whole UI (including notifications) is made to work well with light backgrounds. Overhauling everything to make it look nice with dark tones is no small task.
In short, I prefer the light themes for Lollipop based ROMs.
Colours aside, I'm really digging this ROM.
(Ad blocker and wakelock blocker... yes!!)
Smooth and really good battery time. Gonna keep it as my daily driver. Thank you!

Stock music app doesnt work
Hehehe im pretty new to all this rom stuff but theres no errors for me except using this stock music app.. for some reason it doesn't want to play.. my sound works fine. and idk if anybody had the problem with their Data not working(A "!" next their the data bar) go to settings and under data usage click more then click cellular networks. I'm on tmobile (everyone should be with 851) My network selected was T MOBILE US LTE. Switch it to T MOBILE US you should be able to use your phone without wifi and lte will be enabled automatically (if you have it)

Had to revert to 20150111, much more stable.

tap to wake and sleep function
Really like this rom flashed it last night only issue i have is with the tap to wake and sleep i wish is was more like the stock roms. tapping the status bar to sleep is kinda ...idk and sometimes it doesnt wake if am in a call i have to press the power button.......can this be adjusted in the setting somehow? anyone knows?

development freeze
Was there some sort of development freeze due to theming now being available for CM12

The Problem I have with my camera is that I cannot have the photos saving in my SD Card, any idea?

Prior to the last update, I used to be able to have youtube playing in the background... such as when I was on my home screen. The new update does not allow that. Is this a common issue with others? Any fix? or wait for next update..

FYI, for fans of this particular ROM looking for an updated version BlissPop offers just about all the same customizations even the gesture screen lock and custom navigation buttons. It doesn't have come with the dark default theme but it does have the new CM12 theme support.

I suppose so. Flashing instructions should be in the OP of the ROM. Be sure to do a nandroid backup first of course.
Remember, this is for the D851 only.
Even though it hasn't been updated in awhile it's one of my faves and I keep it installed (I use multirom).

A lot of apps crashing
Just installed it, and after unlocking the phone a lot of the apps seem to crash. If I try to open them, they crash again. Google Play services seems to be in the lead, as I'll get a message every few seconds telling me it has stopped working.
Also no smart lock. I am not a peasant. My phone should be so afraid of me that it should unlock with a mere look ahaha. Going to do a complete wipe and then try again.

Which gapps did you flash? I've had no force closes with deadmans gapps

Just a couple of things
I'd hate to be annoying as crap about questions like these, when I can just flash it and find out. But:
What kernel are you using? I know AndroidOS is going to be at the top of the list of battery usage because of libhoudini, but I'm just wondering.
Does it also support DT2W? If not, its not a complete deal breaker, but its a wonderful and useful feature being the sleep button being on the top

Not Deadmans, so now that I am, that is no longer a problem. Thank you. The camera however is giving me trouble, but it seems to be a common problem with cm and its variants on zenfone. The only camera app that doesn't crash while using it, even when switching between front and back, is the paid version of high speed camera, but not everyone can be expected to buy an app for a temporary problem.

Just the regular CM kernel. And no I didn't add double tap 2 wake because its not supported natively in AOSP. There's a lot of apps that emulate the feature though

I downloaded this build, and wanted to share my thoughts on it (wasn't sure whether to post on DEV section or here, but I think it's more suitable here):
Pros
- Very minimal, no bloat
- Very fast and crisp
Neutral
- Battery doesn't seem any better or worse than previous
- Brightness seems to be much brighter than before on the lowest settings
Cons
- Quite a bit of crashing on Camera (works on one try, then crashes on next, or it crashes on Settings etc...)
- Candy Crush Soda Saga is unresponsive on launch - lol
I personally prefer it over ZenUI, and if the two cons I observed are resolved somehow, then that would perfect.
Anyhow, much props to OP for creating this!

I installed paranoid android a while ago, but I had a problem with the dual sim (When i rebooted, no sim would be recognized, then when it entered airplane mode, the sim 2 would not be recognized, I had to fisically remove the sim and reinsert ti, really annoying)
Anyone using 2 sims, that can try this in this ROM and give me feedback?

Thanks for the feedback the camera problem is a bug with all zenfone ROMs. Also candy crush works here fine
