[Q] Can't get into bootloader

Hey,
I recently rooted my desire hd and everything worked fine, I also have radio s-off super cid and eng s-off and i'm running virtuous unity 2.39.0
However when i try to boot into bootloader by holding home then clicking reboot and selecting normal and holding down the volume down button while rebooting, my device just vibrates and then it reboots normally, i can still get into bootloader with adb and by selecting bootloader in the reboot menu also works,
And i already turned fast boot off and it did work before i rooted.
Although in is'nt really a problem i'm just a little affraid that if i flash a rom and it goes into bootloop that i can't get back to recovery to fix it
Can someone tell me why it doesn't boot into bootloader?

I've never seen anyone try it as you have. My suggestion is turn off the phone completely(could also take out battery) then press volume down and power to boot into bootloader

[Q] stuck in fastboot

hi I have a wildfire for two years and I've never had any problems, it worked because my girlfriend was left without a mobile phone because his was in service, after a week I returned it stuck in fastboot
if I turn it on normally enter into hboot but 'I can not move using the vol + - and even with the power button
I remove the battery, turn it on by pressing the vol - and power and enter into fastboot but 'are equally blocked
I installed the froyo ruu, restore it but when I reboot hangs on white screen with htc written in green
I remove the battery and start again as before ..... all blocked
ke I hope someone help me because I care a lot about this device.ringrazzio heart who gives me a hand!

I say u go to htcdev.com first and unlock it.
Rooting it would be simple then.
Once rooted you have many roms. C'mon bro ur phone is NOT BRICKED. Check the rooting thread.

I unlocked htcdev but I'm always stuck in fastboot!

Hold the trackball button and power on the phone. If that doesn't help then factory reset your phone

[Q] HOX wont boot into Bootloader mode only to Factory Mode

hi guys,i am new here and also a big noob. I have this problem about bootloader on my htc one x, tried google and searched on this forum but to avail.Here is the problem, the phone is already rooted when i bought it. I tried to boot it to bootloader but it always get to factory mode. Its recovery is stock, and i could not get the cid. Please, I really need some help how to get to bootloader mode. Thanks in advance.
Also tried "adb reboot bootloader", didn't work also.
It has no "Power" menu in Settings. Phone is from china.

Power the phone off and boot to boot loader by holding power and volume down button.
Is there any info screen in the settings? Post a photo of it?

if you press power button + volume down and bootloader does'nt show up.. you maybe got a clone HOX

I went to AOSPA CM 11, and when I try to go back on my sense 5 rom, it says error, not recognized device..

I need some serious help:angel:
my htc desire 816 stuck at boot screen(htc screen), I already try to restart with press power button+vol up. But it didn't work.
My device back to stuck at boot screen again.
2 days ago I got notification from HTC on my device for update software.
I follow the instructions, download then install. success.
Now, this morning. Just wake up and found my device hang at boot screen.
I create new thread coz I can't find this situation in this forum yet.
Please anyone kindly help my situation.

then I charge until 6 hour. and now my phone totally dead.
If you have knowledge for my situation I really appreciate it.

SOrry to know about your loss. Is your phone unlocked and rooted by any chance? If so then there are some alternatives. If not, it is much better to check with HTC support so that they will get you fresh installation if it is still under warranty. All the best.

I experienced it when I freeze user interface of HTC. It is HTC blink. When I defrost is my phone started.
To do this, I first removed SIM and microsd and re-plug them. Then from settings panel at the right top, I found Rom Toolbox and defrosted apps.

How did u resolve it?

hey, check for RUU for your varient. If available flash stock RUU.

Android 5.0 is very different than 4.4, I suggest you to perform a factory reset on your phone from hboot.
Press power + vol down buttons to enter in hboot

Same problem. Phone has boot loop and not enter to fastboot.
When reconnect battery, phone go to boot loop and nothing.
Try Press power + vol down buttons, but nothing. Has solutions? Or hardware problem?

My htc desire 816 is rooted and it powered off and got stuck on android is upgrading screen

Got it solved by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP for about 20 secs, after it vibrates and light gets brighter and it will start. Before I also removed SIM and SD cards and plug them back in.

guys I had same experience mine. here is what I did. I opened the back cover, disconnects the battery and connected it back my phone came back but I discovered that the battery stoped charging but phone is working well. don't know why the battery stoped charging

my phone htc desire 816 dual sim is stuck in logo while installing custom rom,i was using twrp recovery when i touch wipe option in twrp recovery i show mny options "system,cache,internal storage etc i tick all option except external and usb,after tick option then i swap and reboot mobile is is stuck on screen,i am trying to go to recovery but nothing hppnd

bro please help..my bootloader is unlockes...i was trying to root my phone using cwm recovery and super su zip...after flashing zip my phone stuck at boot screen...please help!!

"HELP ME" Redmi 6 Pro stuck at MI logo, can't access Recovery mode

Hello Everyone,
I have a Redmi 6 Pro, with Chinese stable rom installed. My phone is stuck at MI logo at startup. I didn't do anything abnormal with it.
I can only access the Fastboot mode by pressing Vol down and power button. And nothing else. Pressing Vol up and power or pressing all buttons at once doesn't do anything, (Just goes to the logo screen and stays there.)
I am trying to reinstall the same rom using Fastboot method (Since it's the only way, I can't access recovery mode). but it's bootloader is locked. And I can't unlock it using the MI flash unlock tool. Because it requires modifying developer settings in phone, which I can't access.
I tried other unofficial method to unlock bootloader but it didn't work because that requires recovery mode. (Which I can't access.)
Please someone help me how do I unlock the bootloader, or just fix the phone any other way. I will be very glad if someone helps me get my phone running.
One more thing, I don't have any customer services center where I am right now, so that's out of the question.
EDIT: Sometimes (but rarely), the "Powered by Android" message also appears but then it stays there.
If you need any other information, Just ask me.

What happens when you try to unlock with official unlocker? u get error message or something? Also try to press power button and volume button continuously, let it reboot like that two three times, then leave power button as soon as u see the screen lighting on but keep pressing vol + till u see recovery. see if that takes u to the mi recovery, if it does then wipe data from recovery
