Yes, no RIL functions work. But it's pretty smooth.

I love it, but with no RIL its a deal breaker.. how involved do you think a patch would be?
EDIT: I found the RIL area of the build.prop, I dont know if that's any help
---------- Post added at 11:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:40 PM ----------
Oddly enough, the build.prop file is nearly identical to the cm 11 build.prop. must have been built by source

I'm messing around with the build.prop, I may be able to get it fully working on a5_chl...

Sweet!
Be careful if you do get it working the developer might not let you publicly distribute it without his permission.

Yeah im aware of this. I'm down just to 6 lines of the build.prop that is causing reboots. I have a logcat but not quite sure what to do with it. I am not sure how to contact him because the only acount I found was at miui.com and he hasn't been on for 3 months. If I ever get it working I will clearly state he built it and I just lightly modded it.

I have miui fully working on a5_chl :laugh:

What is the sim layout on that? a5_chl already took me 3 days and I was already familiar with it. Once my school ends and holiday begins might have time. What is the layout through? What region? Thanks for volunteering to help though [emoji3]

Sorry for the late reply.. the layout looks like the first sim is 3G+CDMA and the second one is GSM.. This I got to know because of the etching near the sim tray. Any other way I can find the layout? Thanks for your work!

could someone please tell me how to get service and sh*t with this MIUI? I have the Verizon dual sim version and finally got it to work, and internet it would seem works fine with data but not calls/texts and I have installed Victorian's build.prop to try to fix this but the icon still has the 'X' and there's no service besides internet data.

Verizon? I'm not sure about that. If you are using dual Sim my build.prob won't work unless it is the virgin mobile edition.

Oh Sh*t lmao my bad I was very tired I meant Virgin Mobile :silly:

OK that what i thought. OK the Sim binding will fail in the initial setup, but it should still work. I used 4g, 3g and texted people for 3 days with no issues. I never tried calling anyone but I assume it works. What exactly is the issue? You get data but no text/ calling? The icon is glitches to always say 1x/no service but if you test it everything works. Can you please explain a bit more so I can help?

Alright so I can install the Rom fine with Gaaps and the whole lot, and it works. WiFi, the play store, most apps work perfectly and smoothly. However, when attempting to switch out the build.prop that came with miui with the one you uploaded as a fix for Virgin Mobile, there is still no connection or service, and rebooting the phone invokes a black screen after the HTC logo, only fixable by hold the power button and volume up button for 13 seconds then immediate vol down and power button to go into recovery. Then I have to flash Miui again because without doing that would mean more black screen. I have the dual SIM virgin mobile a5_chl version. Could you possibly upload your Rom zip or help me please? I need this phone to work like a phone and am now regretting the ambition for it with rooting andcustomizing it as I did with my HTC one m7 before I lost it. Any help would be very appreciated

I'm running S4 Google Edition on T-Mo S4

Hey whats up everyone. After doing some research, and a gusty move, I read what people had to say in the link below:
Thanks goes to the thread of the GT-I9505 thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341026
This link has the steps to install the S4 Google Edition (Full system Dump) to our T-Mo S4's.
It's a pretty small file, and as always, create a backup before you install. I wiped my themed stock rom, then flashed the GE sys dump.
I've confirmed the following:
* Camera works / Video
* LTE works
* Phone calls work
* NFC works
* SMS / MMS works
* Wi-Fi does NOT work
There's a couple of other tests that I didn't run, but I'm still getting a feel for this as I write this.
Any questions should be directed to the link above, not here. But i'm sure by grabbing that system dump, that we can work out the Wi-Fi issue, or leave it to our developers hands. Thanks everyone!

Faux Kernel didn't do anything for the WiFi; at least not the one I used. I seem to have trouble downloading one that won't throw an error or show up as an invalid zip...
I believe I'm going to give this a few days before trying the Google experience.
Can't wait to get home and look more into this...tell us how it goes! Have you seen any extra features in there cause i mean it is going through samsung
Also, what kernel you ran with it? and your link point to a forum not specific thread

Haha I did it while I was at work, too. No special kernels needed. Just as C.Sweat said, just download, backup, wipe, and flash.
My issue was that I downloaded the system dump from a different source link, thus im sure there was something corrupt or not compatible with the Wi-fi in that specific sys. dump. I'm not even going to do a logcat or any of that, especially if there's already a fully functional dump of the GE.
For those who want to install the Google Edition, please go here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxsSDB2hKUxgZDFoR0xNdldLTW8/edit?usp=sharing
Maybe someone can dive into the rom and pull the GE photosphere camera and port it into the stock TW rom, instead of having to find working patches and stuff. I doubt it'll port over (maybe the gallery will) straight out of the sys. dump, but for those who wanna try - have at it .
Also, another thing to note is that Google Wallet fully works (of course without XPosures' patching), and we're not given that "It's not available for your provider" nonsense.
This rom = So much win!

Very safe to say
Any idea why wifi did not work at first?
After installing the full system dump from GPe to TMo hardware... are there any software differences that remain between the devices? Kernel, etc? Or are they truly 100% identical? Thanks!
Haven't tried yet, but am anxious.
Anyone check NFC, IR Blaster yet?
I was just over at the AT&T GS4 forum and they are talking about some partition difference.
If that's the case, then some GBs of space will be wasted
Is there something like that on the T Mobile version too ?

Lg g3 d850
I've got a bump'd G3 on twrp, what's it gonna take to get this D851 rom to work on my D850? If I were to flash it as is, would it run fine? Any risks? I remember almost bricking a note 2 a year or two ago having accidentally flashed a GS3 rom but it came out okay.
As is it wouldn't work. I know the model needs changed in the build and something else I'm forgetting... Best option is to wait for the dev to get it where he is happy with it then it will prolly start being ported to other devices. They had a port running for the d855 somewhere
Does anyone else have a problem when trying to download ANYThiNG any apk what so ever?

Why am i having so many problems with this rom!!! GRRRR
Hey guys I have the D855 version and I was thinking if I could install this ROM on it and boot via fastboot.
No you cannot install this ROM as it's only built for the D851. I have a feeling there won't be any work on a port by the developer simply because he has stated he has plans to work on Lollipop; that's one reason why the last update was almost a month ago.

the only Mobile Data toggle I have is for roaming, not for sprint data. I'm not that concerned with it though. If I had to choose one, I would rather get rid of the no sim card on the lock screen, sense I'm online all the time, I kind of need data all the time. data works and thats all i care about
I need to toggle it off because I get up super early, and data isn't that great where I work anyway, so I don't need the unnecessary battery drain.
I'm just happy to know that I'm not the only one, because someone else said they were on Sprint and had data toggle, but I find it hard to believe.
what are the recommendations settings by your guyses kennel?
MMS not working
I have a Sprint M8 with Bliss loaded as my secondary ROM. I can't seem to receive or sent MMS. Is there a way to fix this? I thought I seen a fix for MMS on Lollipop ROMs, but searched high and low. I really want to stay on this ROM.
Also, I get no SIM card, but still have a solid connect. Bug, maybe?
Is there an option for extended volume control
Logcat included - Hanging/failure when recording voice notes in WhatsApp
When I try to record and send a voice note in Whatsapp, the program hangs and then must be force closed. I saw this mentioned here, but there was no log included so the devs could not address the issue. I really love this feature, and BlissPop is great! So I would love for it to be fixed.
I've included a logcat but if it is too much or not enough information please let me know - it's the first time I'm reporting an issue like this. Thanks!

I loaded this ROM a few days ago and really enjoyed it! Stable, great battery life and the only issues I have/had was the camera (known issue) and Netflix not working even after loading exposed framework. Great job tot he developers and keep up the good work.
NFC
does nfc work on this rom? I don't have a s3 yet but, I am very interested in getting one soon.
Nice rom
pretty sick rom, do you know if build prop tweaks work with it?
Camera Zoom FX works for the android 5+ ROMs, picked it up during googles anniversary sale for $0.10
For me I noticed Camera FX worked only 40% of the time (I have the paid version also) the camera app for me that works 99% of the time is Nexus Camera. And what's great is that even when it fails to open all you need to do is re open it and it connects again. For me Camera FX aside from freezing much more often, once it fails to connect it usually requires a reboot. Just my opinion. But yea I LOVE this ROM. All the basics work perfectly! Oh and battery life is AMAZING!

I change it to LTE (recommended), I exit that menu. Then go back, it is still set to 3G. It will not stay on LTE.
And ideas/advice is greatly appreciated.
This is a great ROM and would like to use it as my daily driver.

I had the EXACT same issue. It's a connectivity thing. Sprints LTE sucks. Been like 2 weeks I haven't had LTE. One day I just decided to surf get web and I had no data. I even odined back to stock, called Sprint and everything. Did the ##72786# thing and still no 4G even though it said I had it in that notification bar. So I just went back to 3G bro. Might be your best option cause I'm getting data now.

loving it
I got my 816 a few days ago from virgin mobile. I installed this mod yesterday. I believe my phone is a5chl but not sure how to tell. It is a beautiful phone and i love cyanogen mod. I came from an old htc evo 4g which had cm10 i believe with 4.3 android. I noticed others had problems with LTE radio and i do as well. If there is a fix for it then i missed it sorry. Other than that its beautiful and i thank the developer. Battery seems to be dying faster than with stock but could be just my settings.

You do have the a5chl. And batterly life does suck on CM12, and as of now there is no fix for data/LTE.
However CM11 works just fine and it's 4.4.4 KitKat, I recommend that.
thanks
I will install cm11 when i get off work tonight. Do i install the same gapps as i did for 12? It should say in the OP that LTE is not working. Not complaining just suggesting. Really looking forward to this being fully functional though because Android L is awesome!
Has anyone been able to use the HTC apps in the Play Store while using CM 11 or 12?

No, all versions are supported, Im using the Virgin mobile version (a5_chl) single sim. The only difference is that the duel sim variants have the problem of not being able to Call with the second sim card. But this is being worked on.

Thank you, Sir. I was having some issues figuring out whether or not my device was supported. My phone model shows as 710c, but the bootloader says a5dug. Who knew, right? Still, I'm sticking to cm11 unless you can comment on the stability of the ROM? I realize it is an alpha build.

Ya, the phone shows up as 710c for all variants. In terms of stability, its gotten much better. Around 12/24/14 I would get constant reboots, not I don't get them at all. But, others are having problems with this rom and have reported strange problems with the recovery not working and not being able to flash anything else. I can not recommend this build right now due to these problems, but I also do not know what these people did before hand with their phones, although I will keep using the cm12 build as my daily driver. I posted this in the main CM12 thread but here are the problems that I have noticed in the 1/4/15 build. If you are currently on cm11, I would suggest waiting for the nighties (No eta on those yet). Going from cm11 to 12 is easy but people have had problems going back.
Build as of 1/4/15
Minor/insignificant problems:
-Camera seems slow, Default app does not work well.
-No virgin mobile recognition, sprint recognized instead (This does not conflict with the phones ability to call or sms/mms)
-Battery symbol always appears even if "Text" is chosen in options
Minor Problems
-No ability to Configure Haptic feedback (Vibration on touch) but https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...o.HapticSwitch works
-Can not control volume while screen is off, pressing volume while screen is off wakes the device.
Major problems
-FM radio not working
-Default texting app does not work with Virgin mobile (App lacks APN settings to change this)
What Has been fixed
-No more random reboots (Haven't had one for 4 days, I used to have them every couple hrs)
-Defult music app works after 9 seconds now
HTC problems
-Cant charge phone without screen staying on when the phone is off. (anyone know a fix?)
Volume keys fix
You can fix the volume keys waking up device by deselecting the option in the Buttons menu in Settings
