[ROM][STOCK][5.0.2][XT1063] 22.21.28 stock rom - G 2014 Android Development

I packaged up the newest system version for the xt1063 as a flashable zip.
You can flash it using TWRP.
this flashes the newest system and boot image:
22.21.28-titan_retuglb.zip //down
flash via custom recovery
for completeness the corresponding modem and recovery for this system version.
(This doesnt add any functionality, but allows you to install future ota's)
xt1063-22.21.28-modem.zip flash via custom recovery
xt1063-22.21.28-recovery.img flash via fastboot
old downloads
22.21.25-titan_retuglb // down
xt1063-22.21.25-modem
22.21.16.titan_retuglb // down
Edit:
Seems like the files are gone from mega.
I have kind of moved on from this project and i dont have backups.
But if anyone has the files still please send them to me, so my work is not lost.

System version is 22.21.16.titan_retuglb so it includes the new ota on top of the lollipop update.
You can flash it using TWRP.
The rom will overwrite the recovery with the stock recovery on the first boot.

Can this be flashed on a xt1064? I have a consumer cellular branded xt1064 which is flashed to the first 5.0 ota. Now want to get the second 5.0 ota flashed.

If you have a backup you can try.
The rom is not messing with the modem so it could work.

Don't have a back up ?. If anyone successfully flashes this to xt1064, do post it here please.

You need TWRP to flash this zip Lol, so once you flash TWRP, you can make a backup in TWRP before flashing this zip. If flashing the zip doesn't work then you can restore your backup using TWRP.

You don't have to Wipe data. I flashed without wiping data and everything seems to be working fine.

Successful flash. Everything works. Using XT1063.

Root does not work
Rooting breaks wifi
could be something to do with boot.img
re-patch of boot.img required

awsome thanks for this zip

Okay, just to clarify - I am on Kit-Kat 4.4.4 unlocked and rooted with TWRP 2.8.0.1 as recovery. I can download this and flash it directly from TWRP?

This works great, flashed on my 1064. via TWRP then reflashed TWRP after- perfect

But we need a full working root method!!! :/

Yeah that should work.
Maybe you will need to do a factory reset.

Fantastic tool! I was able to install Lollipop, reinstall TWRP, and get root with SuperSU-v2.37. I was not interested in upgrading to Lollipop but you made it very easy to do.
Great job! :good:

Am unable to flash TWRP recovery on my XT1064 that already has the first 5.0 OTA installed (consumer cellular version flashed to retail rom). I really want t o install the second 5.0 OTA, the memory management bug is very bad.

Not sure what you mean by "full working root method". I used Super SU-ver2.37.zip, installed it from TWRP and I have full root. All of my root apps work fine and I have root explorer access from ES File Manager. Can't get any fuller access than that.

Is your boot loader unlocked? Can't flash a custom ROM until it is. Not sure if that is possible from Lollipop. You may have to downgrade to Kit-Kat, unlock the boot loader, flash TWRP then use this zip to install the latest Lollipop.

I was finally able to flash TWRP recovery. Flashing the ROM now. how long is it supposed to take? It's been close to 10 mins and still flashing.
Edit:
Finally flashed!! Thanks for all the help guys!

[Q] HELP to REVERT Stock firmware (Recovery)

Hello, actually on my P6 I have Omni Rom 4.4.2 (this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2673839 )
I have some hardware problems with my device so I want to send it in WARRANTY, so now I need to return on stock firmware and revert to a stock boot+recovery+rom
Is this the right way to REVERT all to stock? :
1. I need a boot.img (a stock one, I think B118, it is a good rom for warranty?) <---- where to find it
2. I need a recovery.img (a stock one, B118? ) <---- found this (http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760973625 )
3. I downloaded a stock rom B118 on my SD (dload/update.app)
4. Have I to UNROOT my device?
Thank you very much

To reverd from KitKat to Jelly Bean first install that: https://mega.co.nz/#!9oEHUTiR!uVKEq6PYefO-p4_kJcJpHw2luWZT8QZ5yrnedx4rug4 via dload folder, after that install 4.2.2 stock firmware again via dload folder. That is a middle step, without it you can't downgrade from KitKat to Jelly Bean.

Hi,
To all who tries to download the unavailable mega.co.nz-download, please try this link:
h**p://dl.vmall.com/c01l4l4a2y (please replace the ** with tt ... due low posts I cannot post outside links)
It's a very slow server. The file (117MB) took about 10-15 minutes to download, but it's the same file as the mega.co.nz-link.

Hi
P6-U06
Current state:
Cyanogenmod 10.1 unofficial
Andro 4.2.2
Kernel 3.0.8
I'm not like a super noob, I just dont have the time to investigate and try&error due high workload in my real life
Thank you so much
Since its not upgraded to kitkat it wont be too hard to revert back. You need stock recovery flashed and one of the last jellybean stock roms (my suggestion is B132). If you dont have a link to download stock rom just search the web for huawei p6 B132 or whatever you would like to revert to. As for the recovery you can extract it from the stock rom file with this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
Read the instructions and extract the recovery only nothing else is needed.
Connect the phone in fastboot mode with pc and flash the recovery with cmd. Tutorials on using adb&fastboot are easily found on internet. Before flashing it make sure you have a sdcard with dload folder on it containing update.app file from the stock rom. After flashing enter recovery and wait for it to finish. That would be about it. Ask anything that you dont find easy or understandable to do.

Lollipop on dev edition?

How can we get the official lp on the dev edition phone? Actually i just check for software update on the phone and it says one is available. Can I take it or will it lock my phone up?
It will lock it, a rom will be made probably in a day or so. Just hang tight.

If you have a dev phone, then taking an OTA won't ever be a justifiable risk. You should only ever manually install new firmware(e.g. via odin), and then only after a reputable source has verified that the firmware is safe.

I'm running my ROM (Rick's ROM) and just pulled SDM.apk and pushed it to system/app and the software updater worked to download the 1st update. I deleted aboot from the file and tried flashing it but it wouldn't flash in TWRP or the Stock recovery. I'll post a link after I get it uploaded if anyone wants to play around with it. Whatever you do make sure aboot isn't in the file if you decide to try and flash it.

It's kinda hard to wait seeing all of the people posting about their new Lollipop update. But I really think every N4DE owner needs to wait for the Odin tar upgrade. I wouldn't touch something from the retail upgrades. It's going to have to be specifically for my DE phone. I don't care if I'm the last person on Earth to get Lollipop.
One question. Will the Odin tar come from Samsung or will some developer compile it from source?

Can stock recovery be flashed through Odin?
EDIT: Can you also provide a mirror for stock recovery? I'm having issues
Im on custom ROM crdroid and cwm recovery,
So I just need to flash stock recovery and then flash the ota?
Or do I need to flash stock ROM too?
Even I'm on CrDroid ROM with a custom kernel. Can anyone advice if I can flash the update by having stock recovery installed via flashify?
Or do I need the stock kernel and stock Rom?
If yes can anyone help me with the links for the same?

[ROM][SM-P900]Lollipop 5.0.2 FULL STOCK ROOT-Bussybox.[Multi Regions]

As it seems some users want a full stock lollipop with no modding, well here you go.
What is this rom:
Full stock with stagefright bug fix
Stock kernel
Knox removed
Root & busybox
ExternalSD read/write fix
Aroma for region selection.
Deodexed = Xposed framework (for samsung lollipop) will work on this rom
Installation:
You need to be on a custom recovery
You need to be on the Lollipop bootloader : Flash this from Odin in download mode (all the stuff you need is here)
Now install your rom using a custom recovery.

Many thanks for the rom mate @civato. You're always an help:good:
I will be trying this Lollipop for the first time on my note........
Cheers
Is there a way to install the bootloader from TWRP? I don't know when I'll be able to get my hands on a PC so I can't use Odin right now.
I've managed to get my hands on a PC so I can use ODIN now, but I do have a few questions:
1.) If I want or need to go back to a stock version will I need to replace the bootloader file that is being provided? If so where can I find the proper bootloader fIles?
2.) What are the correct steps to installing the new bootloader and ROM? I have TWRP installed and have made a full backup. Do I wipe everything first then shutdown or can I just boot into download mode from within TWRP then install the bootloader? After installing the bootloader do I reboot straight into recovery and then install the ROM? What options need to be selected in this version of ODIN?
3.) Out of curiosity where does the bootloader file that civato is providing come from? Is this something that was made especially for this modified ROM?
I'm sorry to ask all these noobie questions. I did search all over the place looking for answers, but most everything I found tended to be confusing and contradictory not to mention specific to other devices. I do appreciate any help that I can get. TIA
Nobody?
Bootloader is usually pulled from stock .tar file or any mod who made it for specific use, to go back to stock just flash stock .tar with odin it should overwrite existing bootloader as far as i know.

Bootloader is extracted from the original samsung firmware, you can only install a bootloader using Odin.

I kinda figured that but seeing this is a stock untouched deodexed rom it would defeat the purpose for those who want to remain as stock as possible but have option to install xposed with deodexed stock rom.
Can someone give a link or version of xposed that works. I tried mutiple versions from arter thread but xposed app says version not compitable. Any help?

Hi
I'm on a p900 I was on an official 5.02 stock however, I rooted it and now got superuser working. Now do I still need to install the bootloader?. Plus if I want to get back to stock how would I remove the bootloader?

No, the bootloader warning was for people who are on Kitkat wanting to move to lollipop.
In your case to go back to unrooted you can either go into the supersu app and select full unroot or better yet connect the tablet to a pc running kies and do a full factory reset.

[D85120G] Stock ONLY update.zip from D85120E

Mainly posting this here for any devs that want it.
I have removed the check for stock recovery as well as added a build fingerprint check for TWRP to allow this update to take without Stock recovery.
This is the update.zip that T-Mobile pushed out starting today (10/05/15). If you are not on D85120E stock (might work with root, I have not checked) do not flash this as it should fail but it's your choice to risk it.

I would not attempt to flash this over any custom rom. With stock it is as simple as flashing in twrp. However as I said I did not test with root on 20e

So, how long should it take to boot after flashing this? My phone is stuck on the white T-Mobile boot screen. I think its been sitting there for at least 15 minutes.
EDIT: I gave up waiting. I reflashed the stock rom over this and now I'm waiting though the optimizing process. Why didn't I make a backup first??
EDIT2: I redownloaded it, made a backup and tried to flash it again. This time we're good. Optimizing apps as we speak.
Does anybody know if this fixes the "Settings has stopped" error when going to the tethering menu in Settings?
So I need some clarification please and have a couple of questions. I have Tmo G3 (D851) running stock 20e, but it is rooted. I also have TWRP. Can I just flash this update.zip using TWRP and all will be fine or not? I of course will do a full backup before I start, but wonder about data. Has anyone learned whether this works on rooted devices yet? I think I am already Stagefright protected because I run Textra for SMS and MMS (I do NOT run stock messaging), but should I upgrade to this? I look forward to some expert opinions. Thanks to all.

I had unrooted (through supersu script) in order to setup Android pay. I would recommend you do the same, simply because this has the root script at the end of it anyhow...
So, unroot (setup Android Pay if you care to), flash, reroot...move on with life :good:

No wipes necessary ('dirty flash'). Data stays intact. It will optimize all your apps on initial boot though.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will do a full TWRP backup and move forward. Thanks again
Running rooted stock 5.0.1 20E. I've disabled supersu and booted back into TWRP to flash and I'm getting this error when I try to flash the zip:
"Package expects build fingerprint of lge/g3_tmo_us/g3:5.0.1/LRX21Y/151451134d07b:user/release-keys or lge/g3_tmo_us/g3:5.0.1/LRX21Y/15227151285fc:user/release-keys; this device has LG/omni-d851/d851:4.4.4/KTU84P/2:eng/test-keys."
Not familiar enough with the file system to know exactly what that is, but I'm guessing some file on my device is reporting I'm still on 4.4.4? Could that be a kernel issue? I did at one point have a custom kernel, but I went back to stock after that and re-rooted? Just hoping to avoid a full wipe and redo...
