As a new owner of a Samsung Galxy S5 Mini Duos i was wondering that for this device are not really much ROMS/TWEAKS/MODS available.
My first steps in this direction is to publish a DEodexed Version from the original ROM

the cleaned version - BUT you can now easy uninstall as usual - and this apps were also gone
Note:
Please do not tell me its same stock rom as before, I know that. But this tweaked version is DEodexed and in my opinion it is better than the completely stock rom

Reboot to recovery TWRP --> here
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Install zip and reboot.

Sorry my friend, i only have a G800H as basic for my work - i couldn't do this for a phone that not in my possession..
Hi, I have a very strange issue with this rom. I have a G800H with XXU1ANGF rom, I follow exactly the installation procedure doing a total wipe and installing ANK2 deodexed from external SD card. The installation duration is about 20 secs and after reboot I have the OS starts from scratch BUT the firmware is XXU1ANGF too. So I think that something went wrong, also I downloaded the deodexed firmware file two times, so maybe the location of the source zip file? Do I have to put It in internal SD? Or you have other suggestions? Thank you
News: trying copying installation file on the Internal mem same issue, also I have to flash twice because first time causes impossibility to use the phone on boot with continuous apps installation errors "unfortunately installation apps has stopped" or sothing else...
Think you have a bad download or corrupted file after copy to your device.

..i didnt add the ANK2 systeminfo - only the edited files - but you can check if the installation was successful: System Settings --> Application Manager --> Swipe to "ALL" --> Phone --> if here listed the version ANK2 the installation was successful.
For the proper device information please try to flash the attached zip after you flashed the DEodexed version
Ok, in any case when I flash the rom at first boot I have the message continuously apps installation errors "unfortunately installation apps has stopped" or something else...When in TWRP I did a default factory reset twice, or manually I deleted dalvik, cache and internal data, anyway It's impossible to flash It

My steps:
installed the

firmware with odin,
restore the default settings (in original recovery)
delete cache
boot to system
finished the first time wizard
reboot to download mode
flashed TWRP with odin
reboot to TWRP recovery
installed

reboot to system
and after all no force closes or messages like "installation apps has stopped" ..

I also had the same issue.
What I did is I deleted the dalvik, cache after installing the rom. It solved the problem.

Hi, because i am trying with the cleaned version, and the issue still remain after @drnag suggestion, I have a doubt on the filename...in the zipped cleaned ver the filename contains a test saying"delete all existing apps before flash"...what does this mean?

it means that all existing system apps are deleted and then the system apps from the deodexed version are installed (for the clean version is this task necessary..)

Yes I have installed clean version. No clue why you have same issue after cleaning cache and dalvik. Try reinstalling. If you can't get rid of the problem, download your stock Rom from Sammobile and install it. Your data will not be lost. Still better you backup.
For all: Never use 64gb memory card while flashing or playing with custom recovery. Choose lower size memory cards during flashing just to be on safe side, if memory card corruption takes place.

Corrects wipes are SYSTEM, DALVIK, DATA AND CACHE before flash this ROM.

Introduction:
This is my first ROM for any device, there will probably be bugs. I am not responsible for anything that happens to YOUR device as a result of flashing this. All releases are tested before posting to minimize the risk but there is always a chance something could go wrong!
My aim with this rom was to clean out all the useless rubbish I never use. This includes all social networking integration as I only see this as bloat, being as most of it is installable from the market.
Maybe someone else would like this too, so I am sharing my work.

If you need something I have removed, download the AROMA installer below. It has all the apps and integration that I have removed from the stock rom in a format you can easily pick and choose what to reinstall. Just install it in recovery and tick any apps you want back! 5: Click wipe -> Advanced wipe -> Tick dalvik+cache+system+internal data -> swipe to wipe
6: Format data -> Type yes
7: Install z1slim.flashable.v0.4.zip
8: DO NOT REBOOT! Instead go to reboot menu and click power off
9: Flash 290-stripped.ftf using FlashTool
10: Enjoy the rom!
First boot will take a while if you have done a factory reset.
Alternatively if you do not have an external sdcard you can sideload the zip
this is neccessary because we will format internal storage, so it cannot be there.
If you already have a rooted 4.3 ROM installed with XZDR working properly, you can just download the flashable zip, wipe data etc and install it from recovery. If you are coming from a previous version of this ROM then you only need to install the zip. No wipe required.

Good to see more DEVS here and there, let me give you an advice, people will not go back to 534 if they're already in .290 with working recovery, because i didnt go back to 534 since the first semi-rooted 290 i had to always flash the flashable recovery that i had! now if you read the NUT thread you can figure out that if you already have a working recovery or you were on any 290 from iHackers or ROMAUR or even Monx you'll be able to just flash the update zip that is in the NUT to get Full ROOT!

Try to flash the latest windows recovery from NUT and follow the steps:
1- Make sure you have USB debugging turned ON.
2- download XZ/ZL/TabZ/Z1/ZU-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-BETA.installer.zip from http://nut.xperia-files.com
Windows:
3- unpack at C: or somewhere you will remember!
4- navigate to the resulting directory and look for install.bat, double click it to run;
let me know if this worked for you

if everything's goes well then you will get a fully working recovery plus a nice full rooted ROM!
if not then you should just do the steps from NUT thread and you'll be fine

Didn't work the phone reboots back up dosent go into recovery.

Ive just noticed that its not really got full root so have to fix that too. Cant mount system R/W but have got latest XZDR... Weird.
adamo06 please follow the guide in [NUT]'s thread properly. You need to download the 534 version from his OP to get the rom to install properly, or at least have a rooted 257 with recovery already. Also, please take discussion about that to the appropriate thread.

Follow my steps then:
1- flash 534 using flashtool
2- root it using bin4ry's tools
3- install NUT recovery (the ones that i have given) install windows version and when you're on the recovery flash the one that is flashable! do not reboot!
4- flash the 290 from any DEV i would recommend iHackers v2.0 do not reboot!
5- flash xposed for lb from Monx and again (do not reboot! )
6- flash the update zip for 290 from NUT thread
7- wipe cache/dalvik
8- power off the phone from recovery
9- flash the kernel for 290
10- boot the phone and wait!

As a new owner of a Samsung Galxy S5 Mini Duos i was wondering that for this device are not really much ROMS/TWEAKS/MODS available.
My first steps in this direction is to publish a DEodexed Version from the original ROM

If you have installed a update form the market for one of the apps above, the apps are already installed after you flashed
the cleaned version - BUT you can now easy uninstall as usual - and this apps were also gone
Note:
Please do not tell me its same stock rom as before, I know that. But this tweaked version is DEodexed and in my opinion it is better than the completely stock rom
Try it and post feedback.

finally installed it, but after boot-animation "SAMSUNG" (with flashes flying away) it shows black background and message - Application Android Installer stoped.

I will not be providing any additional mods (Themes, etc.) If you want Touchwiz Apps then this ROM isn't for you, you can use the de-bloating script instead located HEREInstallation instructions:
Install the latest recovery (TWRP recommended)
Download the ROM.zip copy it your internal or external storage (OTG) of the device.
Flash the ROM.zip
Reboot and wait for the ROM to boot, it is advised you let the ROM rest for a few minutes after initial boot.
Android 7.0:
Make a back-up of all of your data because internal storage will be wiped/encrypted.

The reason you don't have root is probably because you wiped data after flashing the ROM, this ROM contains systemless root.
You have two solutions, either flash SuperSU or flash the ROM.zip again.

The phone should cool off after it rests, due to the fact that the initial boot will be hot due to the fact that this ROM is DeOdexed and stock ROM is Odexed. I would recommend letting the ROM settle in for a day or two.
I'll look into the GraceUX but no ETAs as it's dependent on whether I have time to look into it.
I appreciate your feedback and am glad you are enjoying the ROM so far.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
1. Make appropriate backups in TWRP.
2. Wipe System, Data, Cache and ART Cache.
3. Install the ROM. (No need for GApps)
4. Reboot.
5. Update Google Play Store via tapping on version in Play store settings and after that update the Google Play services.
6. Update all the apps and reboot once.
NON-ROOTED. Why?
Simply because some people want MagiskSU and some want SuperSU. Moreover rooting would require changing the kernel to ElementalX or Vegito as there was no root exploit in stock N kernel.
BUGS:
1. Settings app MAY crash if you open the Apps section. If you want to configure the default apps tap the gear icon immediately.
Getting it to work is pure LUCK. Sorry I have no fix for it. Happens only to me idk why. No one else reported this.
ROOTING PROCEDURE:
WARNING: IF YOU DIRECTLY FLASH SOME SU MANAGER YOUR DEVICE WON'T BOOT.
1. Take appropriate backups in twrp (Boot partition recommended).
2. Flash ElementalX kernel v1.04 for Stock ROM or Vegito Kernel v6.5.
3. Reboot (Optional).
4. Flash your desired su manager (Magisk v12 or SuperSU v2.79 SR3).
5. Reboot (Incase of SuperSU boot process will loop once).
6. Update the Magisk Manager/ SuperSU from PlayStore(If needed).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
DON'T TRY INSTALLING ANY FUTURE OFFICIAL OTA FROM MOTOROLA ON THIS ROM. FLASH STOCK NOUGAT FROM HERE IF NEED BE. I have already removed the '3c_ota' app using the magisk terminal debloater script, although, if you get any update via the OTA app, don't try installing it.
SUBSTRATUM/OMS Support won't be possible on this ROM as it is based on prebuilt system images instead of some raw source code. Legacy mode may work with root. Do not report bugs for the same. I'm not responsible for the consequences of themeing.
This ROM will NOT upgrade your BOOTLOADER and PARTITION TABLE. They'll remain the same as NPJ25.93-14 (Dec 1 Patch) unless you had flashed the March 1 patch in stock recovery.

No I would not recommend this. Since the apps are deodexed and zipaligned with many of them being removed. So this will create a problem on a dirty flash. Instead use Titanium Backup for apps and their respective data.

Deodexing and debloating might be a reason. These apps work in the background as system apps and create a bit of the force stop thing.

What model do you have? I have tested this on the indian xt1643. Although the base of the ROM is from the European model (Shouldn't make any difference imo).
Can you try disabling or uninstalling it? (Proceed with backup). If no help, I'll need a logcat and try to find a fix. I'm still a beginner and this is my first ROM after Lineage. ?

I got this error while setting up the device but after the setup it was gone haven't seen that error since then,do you get it often?

I think as this is a stock ROM we can't add Substratum commits in, though if I'm incorrect someone correct me!

I think you should do so, ideally, so that your baseband and other firmware is at least on Nougat, before then wiping your device and then flashing this TWRP file as per the opening post.

You need to first flash the Dec 1 path update then this so that all things work.

As far as I know we can add using small editor but it's a hard job so no one does that.

I had used the system and boot dump from the reteu model owned by @kosmasgr . But the ROM should work fine as long as you have updated to Nougat NPJ25.93-14 or above.

PREREQUISITE:
Please update to N910PVPU5DQI5 firmware which can be downloaded from here by using Samsung Odin
I can not guarantee that you will not have problem if you are on another firmware/modem/bootloader
OK THE DISCLAIMER PART:
I can't be held responsible for the effects of this software, it was designed for testing purposes and fun.
Please make a backup, make sure you have a computer handy with odin
Please take sometime to read all documents before proceeding, you've been warned.
Installation Steps:
1.) Download desired Rom Version from below download link(s)
2.) Place Rom preferably on external SD card
3.) Reboot device into recovery either using Busybox or from device powered off method. (instructions in post#3)
4.) Once in recovery its HIGHLY recommended to install on a clean device. Select Wipe, Then advanced,
put check marks next to System, Dalvik-Cache, Data, Cache
5.) Recommended but NOT necessary: Once wipe is completed, back up one step and choose FORMAT DATA, it will require you to type YES to complete.
6.) When completed return back to Main TWRP screen, Click Mount and make sure System and Data are mounted.
7.) Choose Install then Navigate to where you placed Rom ( You made need to choose SD as the storage location if you put on SD )
9.) Install Rom and wait for it to complete. Once done, wipe Dalvik-Cache/Cache then select reboot and WAIT.
10) Most importantly ENJOY!

Made a few tweets to the builds and they are running much smoother. I'm going to have an update to VB1/VB2 and hopefully a new VB3 soon. I noticed that there were a few problems and fc from that last builds. I did have some data issues as well so you are not alone. Hope you all are enjoying the builds. I'm assuming that no news is good news and that things are running good.

Should not have any F/C's or errors.
All builds now have Magisk , Itson and Knox has been removed! I'm currently working on a VB3 build that will be debloated with Viper4Arise, additional fonts and LG sounds.

So i flashed this ROM, but im not seeing Magisk. From the build thread, did it mean it was removed? The way I read it was that only Knox was removed

Knox and itson are removed. Magisk is in the build and will be flashed along with the ROM. You should see Magisk flash after the ROM flashes. Which version are you on? Did you check MD5?
I tried to flash this rom, followed directions. I'm definitely on q15 (ota) and it's a Sprint note 4. Rooted, installed TWRP and it was stuck on this screen for hours: Setting permissions... I thought it would finish by morning but no any help? The only thing I can think of is that it's not a compatible TWRP version. I made the mistake of not backing up since I just got the phone. So I'm stuck here. Got any suggestions?

Make sure your on TWRP 3.1.1. Did you check your MD5? I would try and re-download/verify MD5 and flash again. I test all my builds before posting. I bet you won't forget to backup before flashing again? it shouldn't take more that 5 to 10 to flash the zip and no more than 20 minutes to load
