Unfortunately No! It keeps crashing! Will try to figure out the reason, though most probable it is because of the MTK Processor infrastructure. However, Almost all the Modules for Android 4.2.x and below are working on this.

I'm new to xda and also to the whole rooting process. I dont even knowbhow to make a new thread or where to post. I hope you guys would help or atleast tell me the right place to post my queries.
Problem with me is,, I somehow managed to root my HTC 616 by the one click method of the chinese app. But now i've no clue to go further. Problems i'm facing are:
1. I cant unlock my bootloader.
2. When i restart my phone l, supersu shows that su binary is outdated.
3. When i flash anything in recovery mode, i get a msg saying 'installation aborted.'
What I've done in regard to this:
1. I found out in the htcdev.com site, that Htc phones come with bootloader unlocked after 2011. That means my phone has an unlocked bootloader, already!
2. I tried using the normal installation in su and it works quite well, but when i again restart my device, it shows the same msg, su binary outdated.
3. I cant find any custom cwm or twrp recovery for my HTC 616, too.
I'm fed up with this downloads and installs. From the past 2months i'm trying to do this stuff but cant get it right. So i thought if xda could help! Thanks in advance.
& Now,, i unrooted my phone,, so can anyone tell me the how-to guide clearly to flash a lolipop rom into it. Thank you!
And also how to install a cwm or twrp recovery for htc 616
From the start! Thanks.

Multirom autoboot
hey guys
I just flashed the dev preview and so far its amazing.
The only problem I'm having is with multirom autoboot not starting.
When ever I reboot the system it never asks me if I want to boot my secondary rom.
My primary Rom is CM11 w/ elementalx Kernel.
If anyone can help me out it would be amazing, but the preview is really good.
Going to test it out for a couple days.

There is no way to get S-OFF for our device. And if there was flashing CM11 wouldn't be the way to do it.
Flashed14-11-03....cant change to 3g....in the first build it was possible to change any sim to 3g ( change both sims to 2g.,then change ur desired sim to 3g)...now it stuck on 2g....both sims
I am on the Virgin Mobile model, (a5chl I think) and I don't get mms. I can send them, but not receive. Any fixes?

If it is possible with evervolv kernel to make a ROM for CDMA, then I will do.
Take it easy, I don't want your money. I need you to contribute knowledge on this because I don't have time to read all cdma related rom threads for htc desire. If you stumble across the relevant information just share it with me.

Does this problem also occurs on the stock ROM?
Are you the first owner of the A8181?
As well it might be a hardware problem (for example, damage), or overheating caused by the motherboard.

Thank you for replying. No, never occurred on stock. I used beanstalk ROM for 6 months , except rare reboots, everything was cool , until my SD card blow up. A week ago I got a class 10 card and i flashed beanstalk again, then my phone started to reboot while phone calls and overheating. After that i decided to flash liquidsmooth but reboots while calling and overheating continue.

Problem with Liquidsmooth v3.2 on HTC Desire Bravo
Hi
My faithful Samsung S3 died 6 weeks before the end of my contract and I'm trying to resurrect my old HTC Desire to keep me going. When I booted it, it was still running Cmd 7 and of course, hardly and of my usual apps would work on it.
I did a bit of reading today and then followed the instructions for installing Liquidsmooth v3.2 which was all good and made me much happier. Only problem is, I've installed only 8 apps and have run out of internal memory despite having activated app2sd. I know that it's working, as the Ext2 partition is about half full but the internal memory is down to only 4mb of space and barely functioning.
I've obviously done something stupid! Can someone help?
Thanks

Good news.
Will try themes soon.
Thanks so much for being the only person to do a TWRP for the a51 models, I managed to kill the original recovery on my device using the MTK TWRP recovery and have not yet been able to root the 820.
I do have a problem however, when I try to flash this recovery it adb will sit at "Sending 'recovery'" for a long time then give me the message:
FAILED (data transfer failure (too many links)).
Any suggestion for me to resolve this?
I have this device and the recovery unfortunately doesn't work ? but I managed to gain root through a one-click app.
