[Q] Remove item "Do not disturb" - Sony Smartwatch 2

Hi there. Is there any way how to remove item "Do not disturb" from Menu? It's really annoying and useless for me. I'm using 4th item in Menu and everytime when I want to use it I must scroll down. Before last update this item was on 3rd place and I want it back. Thanks

ask Sony

disable message, screen illumination, download full email

Hello, everyone;
I've got a TP2 on WinMo 6.5 Pro, and would like to modify it a wee bit to do the following.
First, the signal lost, call dropped window that pops up. I'm an over the road truck driver, and this happens alot in the mountains. Is there any way to disable this silly message?
Second, the backlight always comes on whenever it looses/regains a signal. This is an extreme annoyance, bordering on dangerous, situation when driving at night and I am constantly distracted by the sudden glow from the screen. Can this be disabled?
Finally, emails. Is there a setting that will force the entire email to download, doing away with the tap-here-to-download-entire-message thing?
Much appreciated, everyone, and best wishes for a great day!
Fred
Not sure on 1 or 2, sorry. For 3:
-Launch the inbox (Microsoft version, not Sense). Scroll to Email tab and tap Inbox
-Menu --> Tools --> Options
-Tap on the account
-Tap on "Download Size Settings"
-Message download limit dropdown --> Entire Message
-Download Attachments dropdown --> All attachments
Edit: Not really a solution for the second issue, but if you turn on the "Automatically adjust backlight" feature it won't be quite so bright when it does turn on. Start --> Settings --> System --> Power. Check "Automatically adjust backlight".
Perfect! Issue 3 solved. Thanks, bud.
Anyone for the other two?
entire message
From the inbox of an email account - tap the soft button to the right of the keyboard one (menu?). tap on tools then options - tap on the account you wish to modify. You should see an option for Download Size Settings - select "entire message from the bottom drop down menu then click done.
If you are going through an Exchange Server then run the Activesync app on the phone. Click menu then options. Hightlight "email" then tap on settings. Change the download size limit to "entire message" and ok your way out.
I can't help with the other issues as I am new to this phone too.
Ok. Someone beat me to it.
No worries, mate, thanks for chiming in. You did illuminate another method, and thankfully you two have solved one annoying issue. The others will require entering the registery, I'm sure.
Thanks!

On the Email Issue, go to the inbox, tap and hold to bring up the context menu, select Tools / Options, and you can modify the download settings.
settings\sounds and notifications\ notifications tab... in there you can change what different 'events' do.
If there is a setting in your phone for what you want it will be in there.. if not It's likely a registry change you need to do. That I cant help you with as I wouldn't know what you need to change specifically.

Can't save phone numbers?

I have my Samsung Focus and received a call yesterday I wanted to save. I pressed every "button" imaginable to try to get it to go into my contacts from my call history, but there wasn't anything there. Is Microsoft serious? To paraphrase their commercials -- "Really???" Then I got a call I'd like to put that silent ring attached to that number and again, nothing. In fact, there's no silent option let alone choosing a ring for certain numbers. Again, "really?"
I was really starting to like this phone a LOT, but after these two omissions it has the OS has dropped a few points in my book.
I'm sure the upcoming update isn't going to fix that and I'm beginning to doubt the one coming next year(!) will too.
to save a number from the call history, tap the number and there is a save icon on the menu bar. Not sure what's so hard about it.

1. Go into your call history - press the number you wish to save, press the "save" icon at the bottom of the screen. From there you can either find the person you wish to link this number to or choose "new contact".
2. Correct, there's no "silent" option for select contacts. Will come in the future though.
3. Find the contact you wish to assign a ringtone, press "edit" icon at the bottom of the screen, press "ringtone" and choose the one you wish to use.
Okay, I'm deficient. ;-) Thanks for that. I just never saw that save button and I embarrassed myself here.
Sigh. I'll go back under my rock.

Thank you! I think it would help if I read the instructions. Sorry to waste your time.

reject with a message option

i installed MokeeOS_RMG2v0.6RC2 and everytime i receive a call i have the "reject with an message" option at the bottom of the screen. i wanna know how i can remove that or disable it, because most of the time when my phone is ringing and i want to answer i accidentaly press that option. i looked in the settings menu but i can't find anything...please help....this is the single option that i don't like about the rom and i don't want to change it just because of that. thanks

Accidentally pressed 'Skip' during options...

I accidentally hit 'skip' and not 'enable' when asked whether I wanted to enable to option to call a person by placing my head to the phone while looking at the contact. Where can I find this option to enable it?
Open the App Drawer, tap on Settings, tap on Motion, ensure that Motion is turned on by sliding the toggle at the top so that it is green, and then put a check in the box next to "Direct Call".
Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Very curious what the issue was, and how it was resolved. I went the Asus Support chat route, and was supremely disappointed when they sent me to their website, had me do a reset, a reinstall of the Zenwatch Manager, then decided it must be a hardware issue, and told me it would need to be sent in to be serviced.
If cover to mute doesnt work, and the app wont save the selection when I click apply...but cover works for other features....why blame the watch hardware? Seems more likely to be a phone software issue than watch hardware.
Support had no clue. The watch is saying install android wear, the phone indicates that Zenwatch Manager requires and uses Android Wear configuration, and the guy is telling me I dont need to install Android Wear. Very frustrating half hour!
Not working for me either
I can't get incoming calls (Nexus 5, stock Lollipop 5.0.1) to mute using the feature either. Could it be related to the fact that I wear the watch on my right wrist?
nah, sounds like a hardware issue... send it in for service.

Are you putting your palm ON the watch? That's what I have to do with my Moto 360.
cover to mute
What's odd, is cover with palm does work for other things....if you want to return to dismiss whatever is on screen, and return to the watch screen, so the cover function works! And the phone calls can be answered or dismissed from the watch with a right or left swipe. Its just that function in zenwatch manager.
Here was my solution
I had this problem too, and found a solution.
PROBLEM: On my phone, in the Zenwatch Manager app, under the "Cover to Mute" setting, I would tick the box next to "Incoming call", then "apply", but when I would go back into that setting, the box would be unticked.
SOLUTION:: On the WATCH, start FoneHelper (touch the clock to get the main menu--where it says "speak now" up top--scroll down and press the menu item "start", scroll and press "fonehelper). You will then have the option to toggl "Cover to Mute." I was able to enable the setting from that screen.
*Incidentally, when I do it that way, I can immediately see that choice reflected on my phone, in the Zenwatch Manager App. I still cannot use the Zenwatch Manager to enable this setting, but I've succesfully done it via my watch multiple times.
Hopefully this is helpful for someone else as well.
Confirmed resolution!

That's it! Even Asus support was stumped, but that setting is the cause/solution!
Thanks for taking the time to provide such a well written response! Thanks again! +++
Thank you so much. Having the same problem and this totally fixed it for me!
On Nexus 5 and Android 5.1 installed this does not help. Problem is, that Watch put Phone into "Interrupt priority" state, which allows only important events to ring or vibrate. But this setting does not prevent ring or vibration, which is already in progress during the incoming call. I tried to use Takser app to set Silent mode on, ringer off, vibrate off, interrupt mode to None - but none of them helped. It can mute the ringer, but not the vibration. But then i figured out the solution. First, you need a rooted phone. Then create Tasker profile for variable set event "%INTERRUPT~priority". This will trigger event, when Watch will set the phone to "interrupt priority state". Create a task for this profile to just simulate pressing volume down key: select Button action to do this. This will completly mute the call.
Also, ASUS support told me, that this issue will be fixed in android 5.1.1 in the middle of may.
