Redmi 1S lose 3G connection - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

Some months ago my phone started to behave strangely.
I have 2 sim card both for Vodafone. I use the data connection from the 1. sim.
Once i start a call from the second SIM card the phone drop the data-connection from the first sim(as expected) but after the call end the phone seemingly connect back to the 3g network but I cannot gat a byte from the internet.
I tried to switch between the cards and the result was that if I use the 2g in the second slot and start a call from the first sim the phone easily connect back to the internet after start a call.
also this is the case if the data connection in the 1. sim is 2g and not 3g.
So the main problem as i can see is that if i start a call from the second sim when i use 3g data-connection on the first sim after the call ends the phone cannot connect back properly.
If I turn on and off again the data-connection is not help.
But if i switch between 2g and 3g on the first sim the internet can be used again.
Please advice.
Shall I sand it back to the Chinese retailer? from Hungary

Can't receive calls while using data in s4 mini duos? Solved

I had this problem: In my galaxy s4 mini duos (gt 9192) I use both SIM cards for voice and the SIM 2 for data connection. So SIM 1 is in GSM only mode and SIM 2 is in GSM/WCDMA auto select mode. I leave the mobile data always on and I got lot of dropped calls to the SIM 1. Every time I pick up the phone there were lot of messages which were Missed Call Alerts to the SIM 1. There was no problem in receiving calls to SIM 2.
With some testing I noted that the phone does not receive calls through SIM1 whenever the data connection indicates H+ sign ( Data connection is though the SIM2). Yet I could receive calls when that data indicator indicated as 3g. Finally found a solution to this.
Solution: Go to Settings -> My Device -> SIM card manager and put the tick on Receive Incoming Calls, which is the first entry under General tab.
It gives a warning message saying the data speeds will be reduced by enabling this option. Still when I enabled that option, I did not see a significant reduction in speeds. I get all the calls from SIM1, yet the data connection drops whilst the phone is on a call in SIM1.
Think this works vice versa, that is Data is on SIM slot 1 and voice only SIM is on SIM slot 2.
May be this is a well known thing. I posted as this might help someone.

Network drops

In 4.4.3 kitkat the network is fine... But when I upgraded to lollipop (5.0.2,5.1) Im facing some weird problems that some network goesoff and again automatically it's back aftersometime...I have replaced with new sim card though the problem still occurs but the simcard is working fine in other phones.... And mainly this problem only comes with "idea network" remaining all networks r working fine in my phone
I had the same problem. When I used:
Sim 1 -> GSM only for phone calls
Sim 2-> WCDMA for calls and internet
The problem occurs while placing a phone call. I hear a beep during the call and both networks are restarted leading to a drop in the call and 5 seconds until the networks are back.
I swapped the roms in terms of connectivity and switched my data plan to the other sim card, so:
SIM 1: WCDMA for calls and internet
SIM 2: GSM only for calls.
Now it is working perfectly fine.
To me, it seems to be a bug in the firmware that it triggered by some networks while on the dual mode.
Hope this helps you,
Good luck

Network issue

I have a strange problem.... That I use dual SIM 4g+3g/2g, whenever I go-to a place where there is no signal..... When I come back to area where there is network, 4g come back immediately but the other SIM won't take up the network signal..... Then only solution to get back both network is switch off n on... That too requires multiple try....... Is that phone problem ?or SIM problem?....or a software problem?(updated to marshmallow)

Phone looses 4G Data & Call function on turning off data. APN Settings auto deleting.

Phone looses 4G Data & Call function on turning off data. APN Settings auto deleting.
Hey, I bought a Nokia 6 2018 a couple days ago. Its great but has this one problem. I am using the Indian Model TA-1089.
I have 2 SIM Cards, one is by carrier JIO and another by TATA DOCOMO. I use the JIO SIM as prefered SIM for Data, Calling and SMS. When I put the JIO SIM in SIM Slot 1 and start the phone, it works uptil I turn off Data. Once I turn off Data and let the phone sit for a few mins, the next time I turn on Data the phone doesn't latch onto 4G connection and I don't get internet connection. Also, I cannot place any calls via the same SIM. When I try to place a call, I get a popup saying "Mobile network not available". Although I can receive calls for some reason.
While trying to find the cause of the issue I found out that when the problem occurs, the APN settings are automatically deleted from settings. If I try to manually add APN Profile with the correct values and try to save it, the profile doesn't get saved at all. Also, resetting the APN does nothing.
I tried resetting the network but the problem persists. Factory reset didn't fix it either. Tried another 4G SIM and the same problem occured with it.
Restarting the phone fixes the issue temporarily. So does deactivating and activating it. But its such a hassle.
Surprisingly when I put the JIO SIM in SIM Slot 2, it worked flawlessly. But it still doesn't mean the SIM slot 1 issue is fixed.
Has anyone else had this issue? Please help.

No data connection on second sim after Android 10 OTA

4G LTE data works on both sim slots but only 1 at the time and only on the sim slot that i have set as the preferred data slot. Does anyone else have this problem?
When i make or receive a phone call on the secundary sim (not the primary/preferred data sim) i lose data connection. The primairy data sim is then automatically switched off. I have of course the Enhanced LTE toggle switch ON on both cards in network settings but this does not seem to work properly.
When i make or receive a call on the secundary sim the 4G LTE connection stays on for voice but the phone does not switch the data connection to the secondary sim card. The network connection on the primairy card is then also shut off completely. No network signal. So i cannot use internet during a voice call and also cannot receive a incoming voice call on the primairy sim.
Both network icons then show an "X" on the signal bars but strangely i keep the voice connection.
After I hang up the voice call on the secundary sim, the 4G LTE voice and data connection comes back on the primary sim and both signal bars go come back to normal and the "X" dissappears.
When i make or receive a 4G LTE voice call and surf internet at the same time on the primairy sim there is no problem. I have a Volte connection so i can voice call and surf on the internet simultaniously on 4G LTE.
This secondairy sim slot problem was NOT a problem on Android Pie on my Mi A2 lite. On Android 9 I had 4G LTE VOLTE HD voice and data on both cards all the time always. I could receive and pick up calls on both cards at the same time and keep data connection.
After OTA to Android 10 I soon discovered this problem. I did factory reset. I switched the primary sim, switched the sims in the tray. Nothing makes a difference. 4G LTE data works on both sim slots but only 1 at the time and only on the slot that i set as the primary data slot.
Does anyone else have this problem?
