Antutu 5.5 Score: 18.400
The design is very close to the OnePlus One, nearly 1: 1. Better than the Doogee Kissme, Elephone G5 or Landvo L200G which also are very similar to the OnePlus One.
Specifications:
- 5.5-inch IPS OGS HD 1280 x 720 (Sharp and bright screen!)
- MTK6582 Quad Core 1.3Ghz
- Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- RAM: 1 GB / ROM: 8GB
- Support Gravity / Light / Proximity Sensing System
- FM / MP3 / MP4 / Bluetooth / GPS function
- GSM + WCDMA networks: GSM 850/900/1800 / 1900MHz WCDMA 850 / 2100MHz
- 8MP (16MP Interpolated) camera rear / front 5MP camera
- HotKnot / Air gesture unlock!
- Pocket mode prevention / unlock gesture at Air (Without touching the screen!)
- Support for themes (also for the LockScreen)
- 2800mAh Battery
Pros/Plus:
LED notification
The camera is quite good, with light Double LED rear
Good HD screen, bright and good colors, sharp image!
Good design, looks almost like the originals OnePlus One
Genuine 4.4.2 KitKat - UI / OS is running, without much was etc.
WiFi / WLAN is very good and fast, even after removal from the router.
Cons/Minus:
No OTG or NFC support (well, Umi Zero and Elephone P6000 has indeed failed)
No Gorilla Glass, and the screen seems to be a bit thin
The silver rim is darker than OnePlus One. And acts cheaper.
The back is made of thin plastic cheaply.
GPS is very standard
Battery 2800 mah says, I think this is fake! I will cherish it as a max 2300-2500.

Battery problem
I put the same question in youtube, I like the phone but this is a major issue.
The battery suddenly goes down very fast at some level, maybe at 50% begins to lower faster and in one or two minutes the battery is at 1% and shut down. I tried lot of calibrate apps with no success, even the wipe battery stats in the recovery. I don't know why happens this, the battery lasts quite long but you never knows when it will begin to go down so fast.
If you can help it would be nice :good:

Sorry, but I don't really know how to fix your problem. My battery goes down normally. I would just try to full charge it, and discharge it for 2-3 times, and also use battery calibration apps. But as you already tried that, I'm out of suggestions. Maybe you try to ask NO.1 or maybe your battery is faulty?

Thanks. So do you think that a new battery would fix the problem... ? In banggood there are batteries for this phone but still i will wait some time to see if it solves in any way, the phone is new.

HTM M3 Mi3 1.3 Ghz MTK6572 5inch 3G/DUAL SIM - XIAOMI Mi3 clone?
I have used this phone for about 1 week now as my main phone. So far it has run good and been reliable. What I have liked about it has been the compact size, the fact that it is pretty thin, have a big screen and a sleek but simple design. The screen is not HD, but still the screen has vivid colors and is pretty sharp. Google apps and Youtube runs fine and smooth on this device.
Some may think HTM, wtf? but actually the phones does the job good. The build quality and materials are also better than seen on many other cheap China phones. So I was surprised about the phone. The weak spots in the phone is the camera and the fact that it is not good for heavy 3D games. Smaller games runs okay, and especially the backspeaker have great pure sound.
The main reason to get the HTM M3 is the design and because it has good quality for the very low price you give for it.
Here are some HI-RES pictures of the phone:

Antutu score:
10800 (phone was not made for gaming, still it does all basic things good enough)
Issues
None so far, wifi signal can be a bit weak, but is still fast!
Hacks
Can be rooted easily with Framaroot 1 click tool
Pros & Cons
- Very nice design, a really good imitation with a 5" screen
- The materials are in a good quality, even if the back cover is just plastic
- Very precise shapes and cutouts, unlike some other cheap models
- Good screen with vivid colors
- Touchscreen is pretty responsive, 1 click is normally enough
- The 3 touchbuttons on the front have white clear backlight
- The volume rocker and power button is located on the same side of the phone
- UI and the phone overall is fast, only a few hiccups
- The soundquality in both the earphone and backspeaker is great and loud
- Youtube runs perfect and smooth
- Supports SD cards & Dual SIM
- Super good price, and you get a lot of extra accessories also
- Has a good weight in the hand
- Viewing angle could be a little bit better, but I am not complaining
- The WiFi is fast, but it doesnt always show full signal
- The battery is only avarage even though it should be 2600 mah, but luckily there are 2 included
- The camera is also only avarage, and only usable for fun pictures
- The phone only has a half GB RAM, not enough for the bigger games, on the other side, why would u play big games on this phone?
- The storage could be bigger, but it also support SD cards
- No Gorilla glass, but you cant really expect that from a 84 USD phone, still the screen doesnt scratch easily
Looks nice.
Would probably buy it, if it had more of a dev community and/or cyanogenmod support.

Looks nice, Im waiting for my copy of this phone will be fun to try it out.
I got one pretty good realization of the phone, but metal frame is not around a phone but only the sides. And Battery has 2800 mAh not 2100mAh but it's good. Will see how it gonna perform

Can someone tell me something about the STANDYBYE-Time of the phone?
I already bought Oukitel U8 Universe Tab and Blackview Alife P1 Pro, both got the same CPU and 3000 mAh Batteries but the battery drains extremely in standbye-mode.. in settings-> battery the battery "idle" is biggest consumer and after 36 hours its empty - with ~15 minutes screen on time!
Wont buy a phone with a "big" battery and "long" screen on time if battery drains ~3%/hour without active use.
BTW i checked apps for consumers but doesnt depend on the apps.. i resetted the smartphones.. same problem. I want to get a phone that holds the battery level when i dont use it (you know what i mean, low drain without use). My old Razr i (Motorola) drained 2-3% over night with same Settings, Alife and U8 drain 20-30% over night. Not acceptable for me. Can you help me with some experience about this phone?

Things like double tap to wake, offscreen gestures and also the fingerprint scanner uses extra battery when in standby, try to disable all that stuff to see if the batterydrain in offscreen mode stops.....

Just as a warning to anyone regarding the Siswoo C50, I noticed even after a Dec 2015 firmware update that I flashed the phone with (hoping it would solve the issue) is that the phone’s software doesn’t work with 3rd party widgets from Google Play. The apps work ok, just not the widgets. After rebooting/turning off the phone, 3rd party widgets placed on the homescreen just display but are no longer functioning. Pre-installed widgets work fine. I’m hoping to find a custom ROM matching the phones specs to overcome this as it’s pretty irritating. Tried Nova launcher also and same problem after re-boot.

Many thanks for informing us about this problem.
I read that e-compass stopped to work after early upgrade from lollipop 5.0 to 5.1, could you please verify if the issue is solved now? I mean, is e-compass working fine with latest firmware version 20151226?
Thanks!

Display: 4/5 - i dont have or see many of the problems people have complained about regading this. My display is crisp, sharp and bright. My only small complaint is that it can be prone to scratches from what I hear. With a user-replaceable front, this isnt a huge deal
Performance: 5/5 - This phone is fast, snappy and is a joy to use and scroll thru menus. No lag at all
Battery: 4/5 - Coming from a droid maxx, I am getting about a day and a half on this with moderate usage. On my maxx I was easily able to get 2. With turbo charging though this is not a problem or issue
Customizability: 1/5 - Since there is no root nor does there seem to be ANY dev interest in the DT2, this gets rated very very low. Only reason I gave 1 point is because I am able to disable MOST vzw bloat.
Feel: 4/5 - Coming from the Maxx, this is definitely a larger and lighter phone. I perfer my devices a bit on the heavy side as it feels sturdier to me. However, I am getting used to the size and feel. I just wish I could use it comfortably with one hand.
Does any owner of the Turbo 2/X Force know if this device has front color LED notification that gives different color for different apps?
TIA.
None for the Turbo 2. Just the Moto display. Now it would be nice if you could change the color of Moto Display.

I came from a LG G3 and so far the phone has been an upgrade! Screen is about the same. 0.1in is not noticeably smaller. Screen seems always brighter than my G3. Brightness all the way down is bright for laying in bed at night.
Performance is great. I feel if root is an option it'll only get better. Debloating it will be huge for performance upgrades. But the hardware is certainly there.
Battery so far has been great. Typically 30% when going to bed, when on the G3 I'd have 30% aroind 5pm. So I'd have to charge at least once before bed. With the turbo 2 it'll last all day.
No root, and maybe none is saddening. Biggest fit at first was the dpi, which I changed, but some apps parts are broken and it sucks. No big deal but it just looks worse. With root I'll be much happier with this device, but I can't blame the device.
Feels good as a device. It's sturdy and doesn't feel like it'll break easy. Especially with the shatterproof screen. I am using a UAG case and its sort of bulky, but no big deal.
Overall, I enjoy this phone and do not regret trading it. An upgrade to marshmallow or root will be huge for the future of this device. But that's all software and not hardware.

HomTom HT7 Pro HD_MTK6735_2GB/16GB (Review/ROM/Recoveries/Discussion)

Hey guys... Here is my another real review of cost effective (Just US$80) smartphone HOMTOM HT7 Pro. It is an amazing camera phone which I am sure you guys fall in love with this price range device.

After 2 days of extensive use of this device I will give 9.5 out of 10 points for this camera. For very little price you will get a good specified device which runs on MTK6735 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor with 2GB Ram/16GB ROM and HD 720x1280 pixel 5.5 Inch IPS, G+F lamination screen . The front camera is 2.0 Mega Pixel (interpolation 5.0MP) and rear camera is 8.0MegaPixel (interpolation 13.0MP) with flashlight and auto focus. It is included by massive 3000 mAh battery which can easily take out your day.
On the front side, top is equipped by a 2.0 MP camera alongside sensors, led notification light and on the down, capacitive touch buttons. The back side of the device is made of plastic (brushed metallic finish which gives a premium look), top equipped with 8.0 MP camera with flash light and at the bottom "HOMTOM" logo printed.
The frame is made of Aluminium metal which gives a nice look in this price range. The volume rockers and power buttons are place on left side of the device (trend is right side). Bottom is equipped with two speaker grills (one is just for symmetry) with normal USB point and a 2.5 mm jack hole on the top.
HOMTOM HT7 Pro runs on Android 5.1 lollipop version with near stock vanilla AOSP. You will get approx 11 GB out of 16 GB ROM usable and almost 1 GB free RAM always which makes this device faster and smoother. I had played ASPHALT 8 game and it was buttery smooth.
On the Antutu Bench mark it scored 24735 and Geekbench 487 on single core / 1392 multi core. The screen is 5 point touch screen and only Accelerometer, Light and Proximity sensors are supported. It comes with some pre-installed apps like Applock, Bagan Myanmar and Go keyboards. It support FM Radio and you need an earphone to use as antenna.
Sample Photographs snapped by HT7 Pro :
Its dual sim LTE device and also support SD card upto 128 GB. Expecting more..................... think again Overall it is a cheap and best smartphone under US$80 price tag.
More about Homtom HT7 Pro : Mod Edit by @Darth : Link removed for promoting selling sites. Not on XDA thanks!
I have this phone and the camera is quite good. But it's far from being a camera phone - te macro is not good at all and the focus is not very fast(not bad also).
The battery is nothing special.
