About 123 EU / 136 USD.... or search on google....

I also have this phone and I have the feeling the firmware got some nice updates
Camera sample pictures on my blog: http://colonelzap.blogspot.de/2015/06/siswoo-c50-longbow-review-mt6735-64-bit.html

Can someone tell me something about the STANDYBYE-Time of the phone?
I already bought Oukitel U8 Universe Tab and Blackview Alife P1 Pro, both got the same CPU and 3000 mAh Batteries but the battery drains extremely in standbye-mode.. in settings-> battery the battery "idle" is biggest consumer and after 36 hours its empty - with ~15 minutes screen on time!
Wont buy a phone with a "big" battery and "long" screen on time if battery drains ~3%/hour without active use.
BTW i checked apps for consumers but doesnt depend on the apps.. i resetted the smartphones.. same problem. I want to get a phone that holds the battery level when i dont use it (you know what i mean, low drain without use). My old Razr i (Motorola) drained 2-3% over night with same Settings, Alife and U8 drain 20-30% over night. Not acceptable for me. Can you help me with some experience about this phone?

Things like double tap to wake, offscreen gestures and also the fingerprint scanner uses extra battery when in standby, try to disable all that stuff to see if the batterydrain in offscreen mode stops.....

Just as a warning to anyone regarding the Siswoo C50, I noticed even after a Dec 2015 firmware update that I flashed the phone with (hoping it would solve the issue) is that the phone’s software doesn’t work with 3rd party widgets from Google Play. The apps work ok, just not the widgets. After rebooting/turning off the phone, 3rd party widgets placed on the homescreen just display but are no longer functioning. Pre-installed widgets work fine. I’m hoping to find a custom ROM matching the phones specs to overcome this as it’s pretty irritating. Tried Nova launcher also and same problem after re-boot.

Many thanks for informing us about this problem.
I read that e-compass stopped to work after early upgrade from lollipop 5.0 to 5.1, could you please verify if the issue is solved now? I mean, is e-compass working fine with latest firmware version 20151226?
Thanks!

Could you please be more precise, which "3rd party widgets from Google Play" doesn't work for you?

Is there an easier way to unlock bootloader

I used the iRoot for Windows app successfully after trying the kingroot apk and the iroot apk.
The install triggered a malware alert and the install was initially blocked. I took a chance and turned off HIPS to get it rooted.
I uninstalled iRoot after rooting and a quick scan revealed no malware infections. :good:

NO.1 Plus - Best OnePlus One Clone? HD, KitKat, Hotknot, Smart Features, Theme REVIEW

Unboxing (Included is also a Flipcover and Hardcase)
Review (32 minutes)
Camera Samples/Tests (Pretty good camera)
https://plus.google.com/photos/ s7yler/albums/6100646195872392113
Antutu 5.5 Score: 18.400
The design is very close to the OnePlus One, nearly 1: 1. Better than the Doogee Kissme, Elephone G5 or Landvo L200G which also are very similar to the OnePlus One.
Specifications:
- 5.5-inch IPS OGS HD 1280 x 720 (Sharp and bright screen!)
- MTK6582 Quad Core 1.3Ghz
- Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- RAM: 1 GB / ROM: 8GB
- Support Gravity / Light / Proximity Sensing System
- FM / MP3 / MP4 / Bluetooth / GPS function
- GSM + WCDMA networks: GSM 850/900/1800 / 1900MHz WCDMA 850 / 2100MHz
- 8MP (16MP Interpolated) camera rear / front 5MP camera
- HotKnot / Air gesture unlock!
- Pocket mode prevention / unlock gesture at Air (Without touching the screen!)
- Support for themes (also for the LockScreen)
- 2800mAh Battery
Pros/Plus:
LED notification
The camera is quite good, with light Double LED rear
Good HD screen, bright and good colors, sharp image!
Good design, looks almost like the originals OnePlus One
Genuine 4.4.2 KitKat - UI / OS is running, without much was etc.
WiFi / WLAN is very good and fast, even after removal from the router.
Cons/Minus:
No OTG or NFC support (well, Umi Zero and Elephone P6000 has indeed failed)
No Gorilla Glass, and the screen seems to be a bit thin
The silver rim is darker than OnePlus One. And acts cheaper.
The back is made of thin plastic cheaply.
GPS is very standard
Battery 2800 mah says, I think this is fake! I will cherish it as a max 2300-2500.

Battery problem
I put the same question in youtube, I like the phone but this is a major issue.
The battery suddenly goes down very fast at some level, maybe at 50% begins to lower faster and in one or two minutes the battery is at 1% and shut down. I tried lot of calibrate apps with no success, even the wipe battery stats in the recovery. I don't know why happens this, the battery lasts quite long but you never knows when it will begin to go down so fast.
If you can help it would be nice :good:

Sorry, but I don't really know how to fix your problem. My battery goes down normally. I would just try to full charge it, and discharge it for 2-3 times, and also use battery calibration apps. But as you already tried that, I'm out of suggestions. Maybe you try to ask NO.1 or maybe your battery is faulty?

Thanks. So do you think that a new battery would fix the problem... ? In banggood there are batteries for this phone but still i will wait some time to see if it solves in any way, the phone is new.

That depends on the provider, in USA the providers don't all use the same network bands. That vary from provider to provider making it very hard to answer that question. The THL 2015 supports 2100/1800/2600/800 MHz on 4G/LTE. Better ask your provider if they support these bands or not.
Good, I am buyer of a phone, it thl 2015 or this jiayu s3, ...
can tell me how is this phone .. it has can put some thoughts on it, bugs ... costum roms, ... and lollipop, update .... thanks
Interesting.
I'm going to be in Europe for part of this summer and while I was leaning towards the Elephone P7000, I was concerned that it would not be available in time. I have settled with this phone, and it should be in my possession shortly. I'm somewhat disappointed it ships with Android 4.4, but I'm hopeful it will receive Lollipop soon.
Does anyone know how heavily skinned this phone is? I'm wondering how close we are to AOSP.
Got one this morning after pre-release ordering at coolicool, with DHL +£15 tax to the UK, seems good so far, expect they'll give us 5.1 from 4.4.4 soon, noticed quite a lot of their stuff here http://www.needrom.com/category/thl/thl-2015 think I'll use Nova launcher for now, just under 41,000 in Antutu, keep us posted if they can be rooted if it's later required.

It can be rooted by VRoot_1.8.2.13135.
I already done that at the weekend.
I tried to create custom recovery by autocreate TWRP with no success.
Gravity box also not compatible with the latest xposed framework yet
Is this any use? http://playfuldroid.com/how-to-root-thl-2015-in-less-than-an-hour
Would there be any version of CyanogenMod available to us if it does start working rooted?

There will only be CyanogenMod if someone makes it for the phone, so far I haven't heard or seen any working on a port for the phone.
Put Bounty On Device?
Does anyone know of any websites that I can use to place a "bounty" on a device? I'd like a 5.0 ROM, and I'd be willing to put money into a pot that is awarded to the first person to complete this task. Does XDA support this?

Compass and Gyroscope
Hi guys, what about compass and gyroscope? Is Google Skymaps working properly. Thank you!
hello! whether on this phone to upgrade to Android 5.0?
No Android 5 update from the manufacturers yet, have had one OTA update from THL but not sure what it did. Does anyone know why some apps find this phone as rooted even without rooting it? I'm trying to get SkyGo to work (they are strict for DRM tv viewing) and also Trustable by Bluebox lists it as rooted out of the box - with some issues that THL should probably be working on too. Is there any way using it rooted to remove all the files that makes these apps think it is rooted then use the unroot option so aps like SkyGo would then work?
Also noticed Recovery TWRP over on needrom if this is any better than iRoot method?

How I've had really great battery life and decent performance on the One m9

So I think I've found the best way to manage the heating/battery issues of the Snapdragon 810. I'm not sure if its my entire setup that's correcting all my issues or if its just the primary app.
My setup is Leedroid ROM with power saver on but only for display dimming and CPU managing. The important stuff: I am running the CPU Tuner app with a custom made profile running the On
demand governor at a 50/50 powersave bias (slider in app), and running only 4 cores out of 8. I believe this completely removes the high-power/performance cores from running. However, I do barely any gaming and performance for all other apps is very snappy and more than acceptable.
Just figured I'd share my thoughts and setup. My hands have yet to get uncomfortably warm like they usually do when doing multiple things in apps. Battery life is also MUCH better. If anything, you may use this setup temporarily until we get more kernels and developers working on fixing the issues with the snapdragon 810.
I don't have any issues with the snapdragon 810. I am still all stock unrooted and average just over 5 hours SOT. I don't use powersaver at all, not even when the battery falls below 15%. If battery life is that bad for you that you have to go to those extremes, then you probably have issues beyond the CPU.

I don't know how that's possible running stock, unless I have a bad unit or something. Then again I've tested some coworkers M9s, and theirs have issues the same as mine even though they're stock. I don't even have many apps installed, but my battery plummets just browsing the web or reddit, until I cripple the 810. Do you have any apps at all that help to preserve battery life? Or run exceptionally low screen brightness?

No, I do not use any apps to improve battery. I am on AT&T and at home I use a microcell and WiFi, so I do not get much battery drain from lack of having a good signal. I do not use exceptionally low screen brightness, but since high brightness does hurt my eyes, I do keep it around 33% and only raise it higher as needed. Overall, in comparison to other devices I have used and have or have had in the household, while not the best, I do find the M9 to have good battery life. And another good thing is, there is this update coming that improves battery life. Here is a current screenshot. Not half way through the battery and I already have 9 1/2 hours of life and just over 2 1/2 hours of SOT.

There's nothing wrong with your phone, the M9 hasn't got great battery life period, you can squeeze a lot out of it if you go to extreme lengths or if you don't hardly use your device, for example my last two phones which i just got rid of (Note 4 and an iPhone 6)
The Note 4 would last over 1 day comfortably as it was my main phone, the iPhone 6 however was simply a work phone, this bad boy lasted 4 days and 22 hours on a single charge, running IOS 8.1.3. I have a screen shot of it at home on my PC i'll upload later, the point i'm trying to make is, this is completely down to your Apps, your habits, your set up, rom you're using, mods installed etc.
All these combined make up the footprint of how long your battery lasts, no two people are the same, just as no two CPU's are the same, or for that matter the battery in your device, some may have a really good one, some might not, even your signal can have an adverse effect on the battery, especially if it's low and trying to get the signal out.
My advice for better battery life is to set up your phone the way you want it, start by cutting out the dead weight, remove and apps that start up at silly times (use autostarts for this) , check for wakelocks, reduce wireless activity, modify the CPU settings (like you have already) and then just use it as you would, anything else you can cut out,any other accounts that you really don't need, lose them, avoid task managers like the plague and remove apps like better battery stats once you've used them, use manual brightness, turn off ambient display, turn off hand gestures like double tap to wake
Beyond this there isn't much more you can do.

S20 FE exynos 990 Overheat

Hello friends. I bought S20 fe exynos 990 and gets very hotting during phone calls. I feel it in my ear. Before that,I was using s9+, it did not have such a problem. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?
Dear @Okan94:
Unfortunately, this processor got huge problems with overheating. I've also bought S20 (first realease) a year ago, and after a week i've returned back that, cause its almost "went into flames" in a mostly simple operations. I heard about some Class Action LawSuit WorldWide against this processor, but don't know how this ended.
As an extreme example (?):
It happened during a car driving ( i always use three apps simultanesouly - Google Maps + Music + Yanosik [polish antiradar app] with Vidoe Recording)...that ended really badly = the brilliant(!) "Safe&Secure" built-in chip simply disabled/closed running apps, to reduce the overheats from 70-80C down to around 60C! it happened to me 3 time during couple of car trips, but never before on other Galaxys.
I think this is still a problem with Exynos 990 and apparently Samsung will still be pushing this crap into other devices.
I ended up finally with S20 FE 5G 8/256GB...i'm more than happy now
Good luck Man!
And this is the answer you will get like 100% of the time.
The thing is, when I bought it, it tended to heat and stay that way, since it was constatly running heavy background tasks, especially when you clone old device to new (I consider overheating if it goes above 45* which only does when I play demanding games for hours) or charging on 25w fast charging. The only other time it gets close to 45 is when I expose it directly to sun and outside is easily 28+ degrees (celsius) show me the phone who remains cold on direct sunlight when it's scorching.
The unit will start to heat and etc much less - including prologue battery sustainability as days go by, but what I dont get is how are you people getting 60c ?
For me it never went beyond 45 to begin with, and it stays at stable 27-37 when I use it moderately to extensively - the same thing you get with SD, don't sell empty stories, plus not all of us are willing or can switch back and forth.
Here is a proof:

The period when it's at the lowest is when I was using phone just for some social media activity and etc or in idle mode. I actually even went ahead and allowed the threshold to increase for 2 C more before throttling.
The icons here can be confusing but basically Third level (orange unhappy smiley means that it's above 35 and closing to 42-45. And that's by no means hot potato temperature.
Not ideal but also fairly normal. My suggestion is to install thermal apps to identify what exactly is overusing your phone CPU in the background all the time because that's what causing overheating and doze it when you don't need it.
Samsung have stopped production of the S20FE in the Exynos 990 variant.
apparently it will be replaced by a snapdragon 4G version and the existing stock will be sold off cheap.
I'd google that lawsuit and see about trying to get Sammy to swap your phones for something else (if that's at all achievable).
LOTS of unhappy ''Exytoast'' users on reddit r/Samsung Galaxy S20FE
Try a network reset.
Clear system cache.

It will always have a heating issue, such a bad processor, that's why I spend the extra 100 pounds and got the snapdragon, hasn't overheated once even when playing cod mobile on high settings
I've got the exy version, and two weeks later it was completely replaced by the Snapdragon version in Brazil markets. I've got pissed and called Samsung to switch my Exynos by a snapdragon version. They told me I can send the phone for assistance and evaluation, but before I should try a new FW version they launched - but not in Brazil yet.
SW version endings with BTL1 (mine is CUCC from April). I'll wait for more or less one month. If nothing happens I can send it to Samsung (to a replacement, I hope so)
Samsung is notorious for substituting parts during a production run including smaller chipsets and... heat pipes.
This can and does cause consumer issues. The most common one is firmware updates producing erratic results with the substituted chipsets that didn't recieve that correct instructions
That can be one reason why Samsung asks for the unit; to physically inspect it to see what they used in it as they can't tell otherwise
For a box full of rabid gerbils they do pretty good...
How frustrating....I'll wait some time, and return the unit to them - obviously asking for an snapdragon version
They removed Exynos from market and are selling the SD version CHEAPER ¬¬
