MultiTouch in ZenWatch - Asus ZenWatch

Hi everyone.
I have a app for smartWatches in play store, the name of the app is Wear maps gps info
The ZenWatch users report me a bug with two simultaneous touches. (Two or more fingers and the same time).
The ZenWatch is Multi-touch?
Thanks

Doesn't seem to be. If I enable Show touches in Developer options, it is only showing one touch point at a time.

It looks like it's been enabled since I first wrote that. Now it is showing multiple touches with that debug option turned on.

"Take Wearable Screenshot" option missing

I seem to recall 5.0.1 and the newest Android Wear app together were supposed to have the option for taking a screen shot but i don't see it. I updated to 5.0.1 last night and I'm on Android Wear app version 1.0.5.1630507.

check that. that's for general lollipop release.
the api was included. it wasn't included as part of the overall OS:
Screen capturing and sharing
Android 5.0 lets you add screen capturing and screen sharing capabilities to your app with the new android.media.projection APIs. This functionality is useful, for example, if you want to enable screen sharing in a video conferencing app.
The new createVirtualDisplay() method allows your app to capture the contents of the main screen (the default display) into a Surface object, which your app can then send across the network. The API only allows capturing non-secure screen content, and not system audio. To begin screen capturing, your app must first request the user’s permission by launching a screen capture dialog using an Intent obtained through the createScreenCaptureIntent() method.
For an example of how to use the new APIs, see the MediaProjectionDemo class in the sample project.

You take screenshots through the Android Wear app itself.

Enable Developer Options on the phone, then the screenshot option appears in the Android Wear app. (Works on my Nexus 5, Moto 360 with 5.0.1 and Android Wear app 1.0.5)

I thought it was obvious that the option wasn't showing in my Wear app.

Thank you. I had Developer Options enabled but it wasn't showing. After toggling a couple of settings it showed up.

No reason to be snide about it. I thought your ineptitude was obvious, but I didn't mention that.

Not working for me. There must be something else that needs to be toggled. Can you screenshot your settings?

Nope, it works fine with 4.4.4. You just need to enable debugging and the option will appear in Android Wear when you click the little gear in the upper right.

Which option of debugging should we enable?

I 'enabled' developer options on the watch (by tapping a few times on the build number), and did the same to the phone. That's all. Then went back into the Android Wear app on the phone and in the menu 'Take wearable screenshot' appeared.
thanks
Ok thanks we need to enable both developer options! Phone and watch! Thanks

Ok i reset my moto 360 and i dont have the developer option on the watch anymore but i could still take screenshots using the android wear! So you only need to enable the developer options on your phone!
Where are the Screenshots?
I have Developer Options enabled on my phone and watch. Clicked on "Take wearable screenshot" on my Moto. Saw a message that screenshot request was sent.
Where does the screenshot show up? I don't see it in my screenshots folder on my Galaxy S5 phone.

Click on the screenshot notification and it should ask what app you want to share it to. Its a bit clunky.

[Q] Smart Screen ?

G4 does not have "Smart Screen" setting to keep the screen awake while you're looking at it. Is it me or am I missing something ???
Any input ?

I'm having the same problem. I really hope I'm just overlooking a setting.
I really hope so too...
Idk about a "smart screen" but it should have a sleep setting..

Coming from a G2 and G3, smart screen setting never actually worked for me, especially in dark rooms..
I must be doing something wrong.
Ok but where is the setting ? That's what the thread is about...
On my 811 I can't find it either.. Or guest mode
On the G3 it's under General > Gestures. I can't find it either on the G4. They removed the Gestures menu. I did find the call and sound gestures under the Call menu (where you can turn the phone upside down to mute the sound, etc). Perhaps the smart screen is buried in another menu. I looked at the logical Display menu, but it was no where to be found.
even the tv off feature when turning off the screen has been removed as well; so sad that this is one of my fave feature also.

Its in the application manager under all apps and has the option to force close. Maybe we need a way to launch it like in a task launcher.
Yeah the smart screen and screen off effects were both removed. Don't know why, but I emailed Lg to ask and they sent me an email saying that they were very sorry and would forward it to the right department so that my voice can be heard.. I asked about not having guest mode/user profile too as the Tmo edition doesn't have it either.
I called LG and there is no way to enable smart screen. It's in application manager they just forgot the settings for it.
They just forgot to enable the settings for it. That sounds like a major QC error. I love LG, but this phone does sound like it was rushed to market, at least in the US, as it seems most of the issues are on the US versions. It could also be the carrier crap, uh, software, that they added is causing issues.

Theres other apps that use facial, but facial sucks at night and isnt as accurate as kinscreen. I used kinscreen even with my Note 4.
KinScreen doesnt even show up in my battery list

Yeah to me the third party facial recognition apps suck. Kin screen is tge best of them, but I prefer the one Lg had.

Questions about EMUI 10 on Mate 20X

Hi guys. I got a few questions about EMUI 10 on mate 20 X......
1) Does it have AOD? Could you see notifications in AOD? How good is it?
2) Can you handle the phone comfortably with one handed mode enabled?
3) Is tap-to-wake feature available?

I know you say you dont use AOD, but can you tap on the screen to show time and messages? Or is AOD shown constantly?
Also, is there a way to use different launchers to show different views of app windows in the app switcher?

There is no tap to wake on this device. AOD works well with wallet cases especially, meaning when screen is covered, the AOD is not ON, but appears when you uncover the screen via wallet/folio case.

Technically it is,
I wont be spoon feeding everything to you on exactly what to do use google
But look in developer options, display settings else
use adb to pull your build.prop look for the tablet description/ feature set, edit on pc and set it to the one used for phones
then sideload it back to phone
reboot and enjoy
(no one knows hoe the fold will handle it YOU MIGHT BRICK YOUR DEVICE OR GET BOOTLOOP)

Yeah, that's already unchecked.
Have you tried going to the display settings, then screen layout, then selecting standard view. Split view makes your phone act as a tablet.
