the only thing is when you reboot first after flashing 1.14, the screen stay black. it's not a problem, just wait a few. after that, as you can't see the shudown screen, you have to force the shutdown by holding the power button and the vol + until the phone vibrate three times (it vibrate one's, but stay hold for the 3 one's).
reflash the 2.25 and all is ok

Boot stuck after flashing DoomKernel v05 / Se TWeaked 1.0

Hello everyone.
Annoyed from CM7´s eating my battery i was happy to see the release of SE TWEAKED 1.0.
I just flashed my Arc to doomkernel v05 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20335549#post20335549 and Se Tweaked 1.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278758 , CWM works fine, also it says "Installation complete", but after reboot doomkernel logo goes away, and screen goes black with backlight.
So i thought it will take some time "give the rom some time to boot up after the logo goes away".
But the phone stuck in that order for hours.
-redownloaded rom and new install
-another sd card and new install
dont fixed it at all.

You picked up the wrong kernel.[ ics 4... kernel ]
Try this one.....
http://j.mp/arc_dk_18-f1-modcwm5_h
Ah well its still doing the same -.-
Try the stock kernel... And then go back to doomkernel... Mine did not flash the new doomkernel over the old one when i went from freexperia to Xperia mod.. Which is great btw
So try a totally different kernel and then flash doomkernel again
Sent from my LT18i using XDA App
I tried that, the stock bootet, i flashed back to the ics lower, installed se tweaked - nothing.
Do not use a ics kernel ,it will not work.

Sounds weird... What does your fastboot say when you flash?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA App
Good morning everyone,
fastboot works great without any errors, but for now i went to XperiaMod6 and the v19 doomkernel, which now runs great with the 36 baseband.
i may try it when i get my arc S in the next days
Hope you like it have a good weekend :-D

I think you flashed SE TWEAKED directly on CM7.
You must first switch back to the stock rom i.e, .42 firmware.
Try flashing .42 firmware and then flash the DooMKernel followed by SE TWEAKED.

What do you mean with "the phone turn off after that"?
Do you get the light to boot on cwm? If not, do a fresh install

If I got it right, you lose your CWM because you have your bootloader locked, and therefore stock kernel, most custom kernels have a CWM included and you keep it as long as you keep the kernel, even after wiping.

I tested kernels for Arc and the best 1 is Rush kernel (link is in ZC thread) don't use xparts etc use flashtool! Xparts etc just screw with Rom kernel! Seriously people read the WHOLE instructions and recommended kernels list! All recommended kernel links are in thread! Read people, read!

I can't post in the development section so that's why I'm posting here. I just flashed Fusion 5.5 kernel on my arc S. It all went well, I used flashboot mod, like this

Same way. But I'm stuck at the fusion start logo, for like 10 min.
If You Flashed v4.X Or You Reverted To Any Other Kernel After Flashing v4.X,You Have To Wait For Sometime (Don't Panic!) In Order To Boot In Successfully.

any procedure to save /boot before flashing a new kernel ?
Hi,
Thanx for the good work, I love your rom.
I understood that since 04/04 the kernel used is a unstable one.
I tried to install the build from 04/04, 05/04 and 07/04 with each time the same result : kernel freeze with color noise screen, not even kernel logo.
So, I revert to 30/03 build and it's ok.
I understand that I could help by flashing the unstable kernel and sending you the dmesg output.
But I'm afraid loosing all (bricked phone or I do'nt know what)...
Is there any procedure to easily "save" my current /boot to resotre it after the test ?

[Q] Vibration not working

hi all, i have a problem with vibration on my C6503, vibration non working, for example in incoming call or during typing.
i have unchecked/checked all vibration options in sound setting and keyboard setting but nothing happens, vibration doesn't works.
if i turn off the phone, when press power button to turn it on, i feel the normal vibration that indicate phone booting up but when phone is ready
vibration doesn't works. if i press reset button on the bottom of the phone i feel the one vibration (or three vibration if i hold button)
but when the phone restart the problem is here again.
i'm on last fw .283 DE and i tried to flash .230 via flashtool wiping all but it's the same, vibration doesn't works
anyone have some ideas about that?
many thaks
