My micromax canvas a1 is not working i recently flashed cm 12 and then flashed the stock rom and relocked the bootloader and now when the booted up my touch screen was not working it stucked at setup page i fastbooted philliz recovery there also touch screen didn't worked but the volume button worked.... I tried removing sim cards memory card but that didn't solved my problem please help me out.......

I think that your Touch Panel is damaged. Go to the service centre and repair your touch panel

How can touch panel damaged? Isn't is software issue ? I am facing same problem.

But I haven't noticed that. I am currently running lollipop and touch screen is working perfectly.
May be your phone touch panel got some injury, I think so
don't use cm,it's bad for our phones maybe it's good for other major brands like sony, lg, htc etc.. :3

I am facing unusual touch behaviour with my widfire , the problem has been persistant past 2 days but today its on and off.
When i try to flick the pages between the 6 homecreens i mostly end up with 6 screen formation which usually occur when i pinch in home screen or press the home button in home screen
also i am getting this 6 homecreens pinch in formation in home screen everytime i flick from lower left corner toward the upper right 10/10 times .
i havent seen this behaviour before.
and while unlocking lock screen i have to press power button again twice to unlock it
I tried checking by playing Air control, i am unable draw the path of planes across lower left region , seems like a patch doesnt responding in tht region alone
But this issue doesnt happen all time, its on and off. at time my mobile works perfectly fine ,even the air control game
I tried reseting my phone and removed my memory card but it didnt help
has thisproblem occured to anyone before

I'd recommend flashing RUU, see if this fixes the issue, if not send it to HTC if under warranty.

i have flashed RUU 1.25vers but it didnt solve the problem
so i went to HTC but had my touch replaced
But the problem is whether i need to root again.
i tried restoring through rom manager was unsucessful
even went through recovery but was unable to restore
Have i need to go through the rooting process once again
please help
Flashing an RUU will remove root. So, you will have to root again.

Hello. I installed the TWRP 2.5 to get s-off, and finally got inside it. Now I have a really big problem, as the TWRP doesn't let me click (touch) on the phone. In other words, the touch is not responding. I'm stucked in the lock screen of the TWRP that says "swipe to unlock". It doesn't let me restart the phone... any ideas to solve it? If only the battery was removable...

Hold power and volume down to reboot. The proximity sensor on the corner needs to be under a bright light.
The reason it won't work is because 4.2.2 came with updated touch drivers, you need the newest TWRP image from their thread. Either from the international or the Sprint model, I'm not sure which is compatible with Verizon.

thanks, but i solved it with a adb reboot. But it's curious what you said about the proximity sensor..

I'm not sure about your particular device but HTC generally resets phone by long pressing Power + VOL DOWN for almost 10 seconds.

I upgraded my E988 to LGE988AT-00-V10b-HKG-XX-JUN-02-2013+0_user and now my lower buttons(back and menu) dont work at all (Home does work) I tryed installing other version but still the same.
Any solution ?

I have the exact same issue there. Originally my phone was on AT&T rom and i changed it for Panama rom. It worked correctly for 3 months and now the home and back buttons doesn't works. More specific: They are working on the wrong way. For example when i touch the back button, the phone think i touched the screen above. So if i'm in the apps menu and i touch the back button, it loads the first app above the button in the screen's bottom-left corner. Factory reset doesn't helps

I have the exact same issue there , i updated 4.4.2 last week , everything is OK , but yesterday , BACK and MENU button have error , when i touch BACK or MENU it loads the app above the button in the screen's bottom-left corner . Factory reset, KDZ , and use many ROM stock or **** it's still have problem.

I think it's a hardware , last night , i charged my phone ( BACK and MENU button) near my Wifi device it's so HOT , i think BACK and MENU button error by my Wifi .....
Its not a hardware problem for sure I tried new lcm (dosent work) and other board on the same lcm (works), Its somthing with the firmware upgrade
Any one has a clue ?

Guys I had the exact same problem, thought it was software problem. Later I took it to lg service and they changed the whole panel which would have cost me Rs 8000. Fortunately I had it under warranty(although rooted I unrooted it first before taking my phone to them ) So I assure you this is a symptom with our G Pros. The screen gets really hot and this causes the problem, its a hardware design fault. For temporary solution u can use software keys which can be downloaded from the playstore
Well i've been doing a lot of flashing since i bought my nokia x....
I've flashed lewa...Vanilla aosp and cm 10 by dhacker29...
But i was facing the incall mic issue in vanilla aosp....i switched to cm 10....
then i began to face reboot issues.... :/
I Used lewa for the very first time...it is the most stable rom...
Now the silly part...
The superSu couldn't grant permissions....it needed to update binaries and always failed !
My recovery also stopped working (TWRP) And when i pressed the volume up and power button it just gets stuck on nokia logo...
then i used the adb method....same result ! waiting for device and stuck on nokia logo !
MY Laptop prompted to format the disk...which i ACCIDENTALLY did !
Now my phone wont even vibrate after pressing power button,,,
i tried charging it...Removing battery and all....but nothing !
Adb...nokia x flasher does not recognize my phone....
Please Guys i need help regarding this or i won't be getting any phone for 2 years (until i'm in college)

he already formatted the bootloader, so the only solution is go to Nokia Care
thanks for the help I had successfully rooted my device and it was working fine but I've formatted sys/boot and then my device got bricked. I ve installed quallcom driver but its not detecting fastboot [vol- and without battery]
Please help me out? What should I do now to recover it??

I dont think bootloader can be restored using only usb connection.
Probably some other devices are available to service center like JTAG..doplhinclip...which can be used to re-write the boot partition
Lol, Im not alone in this.
Did same thing by accident. googled for how-to restore the phone. But it did not seem possible to be done. So I sent it to Nokia Care.
Those guys at the Nokia office laughed for a long time, when I told them a story " how I got a new shiny green brick ".
Told me the repairs would take 2 weeks and cost arond $30

Called to Nokia Care. They fixed the phone by changing the celluar module ( maybe with the whole motherboard ).
That means that bootloader can not be fixed, at least for now.

Well Nokia has just replaced my device with a new one after 3 weeks
I got my device back frm care center..
They replaced the motherboard...as the phone was dead they didn't knew i rooted my phone...n i claimed my warranty

hi all, I will tell my story, if anyone can assist me have in this difficult case...
A few days ago I decided to put to my phone the files to record videos in 4K.
I could get 4k doing the procedure and the files that are needed.
I recorded a video in 4K but later I got a message saying no camera avalible... so I did everything from the beginning.
But after flashing again the touch screen whats not working....
I tried every rom I could find, with no results... (4.4.2, 4.3, 4.4.4 with differents contries)
Then it occurred to me connect a mouse and then I could root my device and install recovery mode to flash custom roms. I tried xiaomi.eu_multi_D5503_4.9.19_v5-4.4, pa_amami-4.6-BETA5-20141022 but the touch screen is not working...
I hope someone can guide me how can return the touch to my cel.

Try to recover your phone with PC Companion. If the problem persists, that will mean that it is a hardware damage and you will need to have your device repaired by service.

I alredy try with companion with no lucky... I forgot to mention that I could revive the touch screen 1 time after flashing but when I tried another stock rom the problem returns... the I tried many roms and custom roms but the problem persists, I think is not a harware problem...
