helps to find someone to mentor you...to help you learn and teach you...you also need to start simple "customise a rom" or port one but LEARN as you do it...also google will help alot....but it's pointless following a guide IF you dont know wtf your doing you need to learn and remember things.....simple way to learn is to follow the make your own recovery guide i made....
Does this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661770
Sent from my HTC One V using xda premium
yes that help
i recommend you to just search xda and you'l slowly strt learning things
but i sujjest u to learn the basic like c# or c++ or else everything you read will go above your head and you'l be like " dafuq did i just read? "

thats the basics yes.....as one of my favourite devs has said and i quote "if you want to learn to dev, first learn how android works and write apps"
he said a bit more than that but you get idea.
But how do I know that I'm ready to enter this stuff.also in the tutorial he was saying that it is for gingerbread or it doesn't matter??

Forget about Samsung in here...unfortunately HTC DHD/Inspire are not that easy to root but not so hard either. Use the guide in my signature (use the google drive link as my dropbox's public links are down due to excess traffic ) and if you need help you can post your questions in here:

[Q] Will my OneX+ battery recover from reading 550mV?

For full detials of my fault please see this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522409
Basically my OneX turned itself off and wont start and the battery read just under 500mV, I purchased a OneX+ battery and changed them over. This new battery also read just under 500mV and after being on charge for over a day still only says 550mV.
Will the battery recover?
Is the phone reporting the voltage correctly?
Is the phone killing batteries?
Phone is a totally stock OneX.

Thank you for your input but I don't see how I have made a double post.
My first post asked for a way to revive the phone, battery voltage was a bi-product of the procedures advised.
The second post was a question regarding battery voltage and a link to the original post was provided to give background to the request for battery information.
Yeah so making a new thread is useless...you are now spreading info over 2 threads !
And you have been covering the new batt issue there too ....
Sometimes it's truly hopeless

I made the new thread in the hope that people with battery knowledge may see it, not every user will read my other post.
I've read the rules and can't see what your problem is.
Update the title of the first thread and post the message in there. Done !
No need to make a sec.....a well nevermind.

I require information to both questions so unless a forum mod wants to remove them I'll leave them where they are thank you. :good:
I think I've just met the forum troll.
Hahah forum troll.....you clearly have no clue what i have done and doing here in the Q&A section. Think twice before calling me a troll. I will leave it to that

You already have a great thread to get help and troubleshooting with your battery issue. At this point there is not any reason to start this new thread.
For this reason this thread is closed

New members (those with fewer than 10 posts) are not permitted to post to development-related forums. To encourage this new Users can read but not post in these forums.
still no reason to open one here, you read there that it is taken down due to issues. wait and have patience until its back up. Not so difficult right ?
This is an English forum. I think you should read all rules again.

...and the point of this whole thread in the end was ?
That users need to read more and post less in the wrong sections ?
Whats with the hostility?
Is it that bad that a user asks a question in the wrong sub-forum? If you're going to help a user, post.
If you're not going to help, don't post. Its as simple as that.
If it bothers you, report the thread (which none of you did), and we'll move it.
@wigankev - You get to the beer festival Saturday just gone, by the DW? Was great.
