I flashed CWM recovery just to check it works or not, and I advise to flash TWRP recovery, I use TWRP

This is basically a one time flash. One you flash it stays.
EDIT: I apologize wrong thread.

will these recoveries work in cm12.1 roms (5.1.1) too???

FOTA kernel, recovery script with TWRP have some bugs at GUI (screen shifting) on my Xperia M with AOKP 4.4. Any solutions from this problem ?

So I'm currently running TWRP 2.8.6.0,if I want to update to the newest TWRP do I simply download the .Zip and flash? As long as I'm running TWRP I don't have to use Odin.. Correct??

Cause im looking to downgrade my honor 6 from android M to L since there's way too many battery issues with android M yet. It's not terrible but it's bad to go from two days of battery to charge both mid day and just before bedtime.

Yeah u must flash provided kernel in the zip using PC
Using cmd write:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

I did all the steps (wipe and format)
and install the zip file and gapps
click rebooting and the screen stuck to the LX logo and no more
i waited for 1 hour and still stucking !!!
Again i did all the steps but every time it stuck to that logo..... no more
N.B. my previous rom was using the LX kernel and in this rom .... should i install the kernel my self or just it will be automatically installed with the zip file of the rom ???

the CWM does not work
BACKUP does not make!
- can't mount /system
- can't mount backup path
- can't open /cache/recovery/last_install

I flash with custom recovery the FXP-cm-12-20150302-UNOFFICIAL-seagull.zip.. all good!!
but now i want to install the gapp with the CR and the xperia does not go into custom recovery mode... it's possible?????

stuck on logo
After flashing, the phone is stuck on logo.
I've got the latest kernel.
if you flash the lollipop build you stay with the same recovery....
Its not working
I tried everything you as you have written but it just says "boot_d5103.img" could not be loaded and also my pc says the img is corrupt ...
