I have the Sparin case. It feels nice but leaves the corners a bit exposed. I ended up buying a cheap TPU case on Ebay. The TPU case has the same cutouts on the back and works well.

Almost all the tempered glass screen protectors don't look like they will cover the metal bezel below the capacitive buttons, but this one does. I ordered the VENA one just in case this tempered one doesn't.

This ended up having the 2.5 rounded edges!
This glass DOES NOT cover the front bottom metal bezel.
Almost all the tempered glass screen protectors don't look like they will cover the metal bezel below the capacitive buttons, but this one shows a picture that is wrong. I ordered the VENA vShield to cover the front bottom metal bezel.
I have the mofi leather case and a TPU case almost identical to the one used in the mofi leather. It is OK, but there is a very noticeable seam that runs around the edge and as already noted, it only has cut outs for the volume and power buttons.
I also have the Nillkin TPU case. I bought the clear or I think it is called White. The case feels very premium. The Nillkin is a bit thinner with no seams, raised buttons for power and volume, and dust plugs for USB and Headphone. Half way up the sides is a textured area for grip. Overall, I really like the case.
I'm waiting to see this one... really wanna get one with a kickstand

You obviously haven't actually touched one, have you? This is your regular type mobile phone "glass". It flexes. Feels just like on my Note 2, but seems flimsier when you tap it with your finger. Even if it was as strong as Gorilla Glass, people still put screen protectors on those, as they can't handle hard stuff like sand and gravel. Also, it's a watch. You'll slam it into something eventually, more likely quite frequently. Nowhere do Sony advertise the screen material. A few places it says scratch resistant. If it was tough, like Gorilla Glass (with its inherent weaknesses), Sony, like Samsung, would use it in their advertisement. I've ordered atFolix screen protectors on amazon.de (slightly cheaper than amazon.co.uk, for some reason, shipping to Denmark. I ordered it 2 months ago, got auto-cancelled due to some 30 day policy thing, so reordered. They keep postponing it over and over again. If it continues like this, I wonder if I'll even have it before Christmas. If you're in the US, consider Skinomi Techskin or iLLumiShield, which are both good from reviews I've read, but shipping to Europe is $17! Hence the "if you're in the US" comment

I've read several reviews saying Savvies is a crap brand. ILLumiShield I would have ordered already, if shipping to Europe wasn't' $17 I went for atFolix instead, but I think they and iLLumiShield are comparable.
Thanks for your detail explanation. I have been using it for 2 weeks. I may get one if I can get it since SSW2 is not popular as iPhone or Samsung SG2/3/4 phones. Getting accessories would not be so easy. For your info, do not buy Skinomi screen protector as the material is too soft. It is unsuitable for writing something on it. I bought it for Samsung ATIV 700 tablet pc and the friction is too much and gave up.

Just pasted the DataFlex Hi Resolution Anti-Finger Print SP on my SmartWatch 2.
This SP combines the 2 properties of Crystal Clear Hi Resolution Image Display and Anti-Finger Print on the SP Surface, I truly love this SP which I have it on my previous phones and now I apply it on my Xperia Z1.
Price for the SP on my SmartWatch 2 is very expensive which is SGD $15 but I am not going to remove it till I change to the next generation of SmartWatch.

Anyone know if it is possible to order the metal variant of the stock watch strap without ordering the entire device? I recently purchased the silicon version, and decided I would prefer metal. Sadly the company I bought it from refuses to refund, and most of the other 24mm metal bands I like are either way too expensive or impossible to find.

Well now $20/shipped CONUS is the normal price...looks like they upped the price of the case. And it's in stock, but I can't pay that much for this case, it looks like it's crappy. I always like the fit of i-Blason, but they never feel like quality materials to me. I can't spend more than $10 shipped for one of these...
I posted about this yesterday in the Otterbox thread as a possible alternative and someone said their roommate had an i-blason case that wasn't very good. Does anyone else have any experience with this brand? When I look at the renders, I can't even tell how the phone gets inside of this thing. It looks like there's hard plastic on both sides of the phone so maybe it's a 2 piece?

If the video for assembling the one for the iPhone5C case is any indication, this would be a yes.
I did purchase the lime green one. I also have the Neo Hybrid from Spigen on my 5 right now and like it. I do, however, like the idea of an integrated screen protector with the cases. I suck at applying screen protectors and every phone I've owned since the iPhone3 has had an Otterbox Defender case.
Has anybody received a shipping confirmation yet from Amazon? For the past 3 weeks, the listed shipping date was for today, 11/19 but my status still shows "Preparing for Shipment".

I don't think that will be possible (Technically it is of course)
But when you use the speakers, it causes vibrations, those vibrations could either crack the screen protector or create a pressure between the screen protector and the actual screen, which could cause the screen to crack. And lets not forget, the sound will be muffled by the screen protector which could (probably) lead to you not hearing people correctly while you're on the phone.

I agree for the cut, it is not best but that offers a beautiful protection all the same.

I don't think it only has the speaker cutouts, if it doesn't have the sensor cutout, the sensor won't/might not work correctly.
Here's the Orzly for the front and a no name brand for the back I got from eBay. I got them from here:

Surprisingly, there isn't any quality difference between the branded and no-name brand tempered glass. Both looks like they were made by the same company. I guess all of them are made by 1 big company in China and you can re-branded them after paying royalties.
The cuts are excellent with very small tolerances. To install I have to use the hinge method and a strong tape for the "hinge" because of the poor tape adhesion on a glass with oleophobic coating.
I got the Orzly because it is the thinnest front glass available at 0.24mm. The back is 0.30mm. Once installed, they add heft to the phone and it feels very good in the hands. The only problem I can see is it makes the phone more slippery.
The oleophobic coating is great. It significantly reduces fingerprints and improves clarity over several PET protectors I have used. This combo works on both the DK32 and DK48 dock. You can go for DK32 since they are significantly cheaper. For example, I got a DK32 $10 at eBay.
The best tempered glass is if you can find one with thickness between ~0.15-0.20mm for both front and back so it will not deviate too much on the feel of the non-protected phone.

Does anyone actually make tempered glass protectors that are under 0.2mm thick? I guess there's MIME Feather glass, but I doubt they'll ever make one for Sony phones. Oh how I wish Sony had used Gorilla Glass

Thanks for compiling this. Are there any slim cases with a bit of a lip around the screen? I have the official nylon case, but it has absolutely no lip, so much so, that I'm afraid of putting the phone upside down on the table.

The KuGi TPU Case has a 1.2 mm raised edge. I flagged the case as having clear fake reviews but that doesn't make it a bad case.
The Olixar Leather Back Case and Olixar NovaShield also mentioned a raised bezel to protect the screen. Though the NovaShield might not be "slim" really.

Was looking at either the spigen rugged armor or the nillkin nylon case. But don't know for sure about the lip.

For now, it will just be cases, once we get more reviews and testing on tempered glass protectors a list might be made.
I bought 4 cases and this is the one I like the most, as for as ruggedness goes:

Only problem is the charge port plug doesn't stay in all the way. After charging a few times it only closes 3/4 the way and stays bent out a little.

For the cheap price and fast shipping, it looked fine as a tempary case tell we see more offerings. Bought a set of magnetic DASH charging cables for my OP3 so I ended up cutting off the port cover and putting the adapter in, lost WARP charge but I can live with that for now.

The Revolution has a full built-in curved screen protector that adds a layer of protection without affecting screen responsiveness. Also, the corners look a bit more rugged but barely, the back has a stand built in as well.

Grip is a *really* bulky case. So don't buy it if you don't like bulky cases.

The back panel is frosted, top and bottom have a decent lip while the sides taper off to show off the curves. Decent corner bumpers.
Cutouts are perfect, plenty of room around the charging port for my cable.
Not the thickest case in the world though so who knows how much safety it will give.
The thread title isn't just for this case, let's see some other beauties.
Only had the phone a few days and this is my third.

Yeah, that was the first one I got too cos I had it on my OP7P, I don't like it on the OP9P though, I think the top and bottom lip are too much, the sides are higher than I'd like too. Have you had your phone come up saying it's going into pocket mode while using it? I have...and it was nowhere near my pocket and the top wasn't covered.

Damn, looks nice on the silver too then. It does feel quite slippy on the back, I would've like it to be textured as well as frosted.
I have this case but the red version. I had to cut away a bit of case material near the earpiece because the phone thought the phone was in my pocket every time.

Yes, I have that happen, I just assumed it was my hand near the proximity sensor

I think the top might be overlapping too much and making the sensor think the phone is being enclosed (like it would be in your pocket)
Any way to get that first one in the US? Not listed in Amazon here

This is the one I bought in the US its pretty similar and I've used it since I got the phone at release and it's still holding up really well.

I've been testing it out now, and yes, it does trip the pocket mode. I didn't notice it a lot of times because I have face unlock. It would unlock so quickly that I missed it. I toothed the phone to the side so it wouldn't unlock and pocket mode would show.
I have the Olixar ultra thin clear case.

Very thin overal, feels kinda like the phone without a case.
Will probably not protect against drops... But will against scratches and such.
It increases the grip and still showcases the nice Pine Green of the 9pro.
I really like it.
Will see how it keeps up in the future...

A couple of times, yeah. I wondered if maybe there was some dust/dirt covering the proximity sensor at the time (not sure where exactly the sensor is, though) as I do get a fair bit building up around the edges at times. Maybe try blowing or wiping the dust off around the top and see if it still does it?

I think what causes the dust to gather in edges around display is the protective foil because it actually has a sharp edge so whenever you stick your phone into a pocket or take it out, it catches the dust.
