Its very easy trick you can try in any different android phone also
NO NEED OF ROOT
Personally tested by me and my fb friends
Steps
1. Go to settings
Skip this if you already have Developer mode option
2. Scroll down to last and go to About phone
3. Keep tapping on build number for 5-7 times now you have got developer mode option
4. Go to Developer mode
5. Scroll down to last and look at "Background Process Limit"
6. Change it to "No background Process"
Note:- This may cause to crash or force stop of your apps and games.

OK!

Fast charging option available in snapdragon 615
There is fast charging option available in snapdragon 615, check the specs in Qualcomm website.

Keep background process limit 2, 3 or 4. Then it will not hang or force closes your apps..

Not Working

What charger are you using for charge? The default charger given has output of 1A which is 1000mA
And our YUreka battery is 2500mAH. So with 100% efficiency the charge time should be 2 and half hours.

I have NOLED and GOOGLE NOW software running in phone does it cause this much big problem ? i don't think so..

I m also using cm11 and never faced battery problem... U can use some battery statistics apps like gsam or better battery statistics for better understanding where is ur most of battery used and R u sure this is cm11 problem. Did u get better battery back up from stock rom.. If u not tested on ur stock rom then first test ur battery on stock rom.. And if u have same problem then i think its ur battery problem..now its time to get a new battery..

In CM11 battery backup is good...Just download a app like battery status and check what is consuming more battery and just disable it....If all is normal then probably its battery problem...U may have to replace with NEW one...

install wake lock detector from playstore and find the app draining battery ,use greenify and in wifi setting -advanced mode check if scanning is enable then disable scanning ,keep wifi on during sleep--select never
and why is utorrent killing so much battery are you using it extensively or is it running in background and killing battery
I was using my phone normally (3g, gps brightness at maximum) but I rebooted it with 80% battery and when I was called with 69% battery. this can be a problem in the battery or the rom? 'm using Cosmic-CM v3 f2fs

Its due to Utorrent app its consuming lot lot battery in background...Do a thing as soon as u finish the use of it just disable it from settings...It will save battery and Use Auto Brightness only if necessary or else change it manual and keep it to ur visibility coz sensors always consume battery...

Hi, Did you resolve it? I am having the same issue. It suddenly switches off when it´s close to 30%. I made the mistake of purchasing a new battery, but the issue still happens with the new one... So I understood my issue is not in the battery but in my sw. I am also using CM11 in my i9082, I already tried returning to stock and the issue persists with both batteries. Nothing happens deleting batterystats.ini, using Battery Calibrator or similar apps via Xposed. I will appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Hey bro.. I m on latest cm 11 ..Android 4.4.4 and i have not found any such issue.
Suggest u to disable GPS and mobile data/wifi while no using to save battery.

Hey, thanks for your answer. I am sure it's not a CM11 issue and not a battery issue. It should be something in the way the phone registers the battery level. It possibly was my fault as a few months ago, when I flashed a new ROM (I think it was AOKP from my old stock ROM), I did it with low battery. Now I think that crashed something that I cannot find anywhere.
What did I do since I detected the issue:
1) I tried changing for a new battery and for a battery in other i9082 that works perfectly
2) I tried restoring the original stock ROM and recovery
3) I tried flashing different custom ROMs (I love CM11) and different Recoveries (I prefer Clockworkmod)
4) I tried all kind of battery calibrators
5) I followed as many tutorials as available for cleaning the battery stats (even deleting the file in data/system), even those in youtube for other phones and ROMs
It seams to be the same issue described originally by Saurabhrajoria at the beginning of this discussion, but I cannot find any other space where to find a definitive solution.
I hope someone can help. It's not a big issue, but it's frustrating not being able to resolve it.
Thanks!

FInd 7a - battery drain and solution thread

Hi
I have received the Find 7a . Tho only issue I have with that is the huge battery drain when off ( even with data and wifi off )
Therefore I want to create a thread where we can share the solutions for this battery drain issue.
PS: I am running ColorOS 2.0 beta
cheers

I dont understand why people keep complaining about the battery. I use my 7a a lot and the battery lasts me just fine and I have Wi-Fi and GPS always on.

It's a known issue, I'm actually in a pilot group with a product manager and developer using a new firmware based on 1.2 that seems to help.
In the meantime, change the lockscreen from Colorlock as that has been known to hold a wakelock and disable Google's location services.
After I did that on 1.2 or 2.0 beta my drain shot down to .5%/hr.
I too am part of said pilot group that Sean mentioned and can confirm that a more battery saving firmware is in the works.
Give oppo some time to work the issue out, it's starting to look better.

Freezing applications/disabling them is basically the same as removing them, except that they still take up space on the system. You can freeze applications using Titanium Backup as you said and if you have root of course. If you want to completely remove the applications you should get a file explorer that can request root permissions, then look for the applications you want to remove, these can usually be found in "/system/app/" or "/system/priv-app/". You can also remove them using adb, this is a little more complicated though, if you want to do it this way I'd recommend you to Google it. Be careful when removing files from the system though, as you may run into some weird situations, you can always make a backup of course. (when restoring back-upped files, remember to set the correct permissions)
enabling google location services do not have impact on standby battery drain, seems changing the lock screen and freezing default launcher (I use Nova) helped

I'm on 2.0 beta, changing that to Revolving lock and disabling Google's location services (gimps the phone a bit sure but easy to enable and gps is still fine) and my drain is down to .6%/hr. Not too shabby, and will be testing tonight with location back on.
have been using the find 7a for nearly a week now. all i can say is...be patient, people! the first 2 days i had it, the battery drain is unbearable(8~12hr use and it's gone), but after 3~4 full cycle charged (start charging when below 10% then fully charged using 'battery doctor'), from the 4th day, the battery is amazing, easily get past 24 hours of use with data and wifi always on, screen on time 3 hours+ no problem. my current used time: 34 hr 26 m, with screen on 2 hr 7m, battery still 33%. Google location service is on all the time, Google now is off all the time. GPS off most of the time. running color OS 2.0 beta.
so be patient and charge your battery for few full cycles.
i hope this may help you guys.
Even Oppo has publicly stated the massive battery drain is a known issue affecting all Find 7a phones sold to date so I'm thinking denying there is an issue is a bit silly at this point. Also 2 hours screen time with 33% remaining is a terrible performance that sits at approximately half of what this phones current competition is offering.
Having has this from day one I would also point out that one of the problems associated with this is the inconsistency. I normally will see around 15 percent drain overnight but occasionally its as little as 5 or as high as 70. The problematic part comes in when you figure I've spent most nights testing some new scheme to see if I've made any improvements to the standy life.
Nor do I think its a good idea to accept excuses. On my N5 I never turned anything off, bluetooth, wifi, google now, location, etc. All on all the time and never had a problem getting 4 hours of screen time and never used more than 5% over night. That would of course make it nothing special since I haven't owned a phone since back somewhere around the sgs2 that couldn't do the same thing and there have been lots of phones between here and there. You shouldn't have to turn the phones features off to get the phone to work, being forced to means you are getting a sub industry standard experience. Calling it anything else is a lie.

In standby overnight, maybe 3-5% battery drain. A lot of things come in play though such as what apps you have installed, if your on LTE, or 3g, or wifi, or even go into airplane mode at night, etc.

first of all , I'd like to thank you for your reply ..
I've bought a new desire 816 two days ago and I can notice something wrong with the battery as it drains faster than normal
and it gives false percent as it increases after restarting the phone ..
I've tried to calibrate the battery by letting in turn off by itself then recharging it to 100% but then I realized It's still giving me false number
I don't know what to do ... It would be great if you can help

Have you tried a battery calibration app such as the one by NeMa in the PlayStore? It requires root but it basically asks you to charge your device to 100% which is done from empty to max in about 3 hours. At this point you go in the app while its still plugged in and "clear" the batterystats. This is the file that tells the device how much charge it can hold and on some devices this file gets buggy/glitched. It will wipe this file away and generate a new one based on the charge the battery holds at max. It then asks you to use the device as normal until it dies and recharge to full afterwards. This has worked for many and I hope it will work for you as well.
If you have excessive battery drain look at the Power settings and review the usage. If it shows a green line on awake and it doesn't show the same matching the screen on time then you have a background app sucking battery from the device. Facebook and its Messenger are known to be the culprits but if you download Greenify from the PlayStore. It will allow you to hibernate practically every app so there is no battery drain when your device screen is off. In combination with this app I am able to get an average day and a half of use with no charge and normal use with Videos, Music, Facebook, Messenger; etc. I average I use about 6-10 hours on this device with pure stock w/ root & Greenify with battery calibration via app done.

Pressing the power switch for exactly two minutes and the device will tell you Alglaq Do you want to or not agreed to the demand and calibration Congratulations to you
Thank you
I fixed my battery issue. the exposed software killed mine relating to the same issue i believe you had or have. reporting wrong percentage. once had 50 percent, took it back out of my pocket and within 5 mons i had 4%. wouldnt charge.
Power it off... hold all 3 buttons (power+volume up+volumedown) after 15 seconds it will boot back up. this calibrated my battery. hope this works for you.
Wrong battery percentage report is fixed by HTC on 1.58 rom update. it works fine on 1.58 Rom
My battery on my htc is draining fast I think it went from 100% to 83% percent in like 20 minutes is this normal? I have disabled everything that I'm able to disable on this phone but once it gets to 70% the drainage kinda slows down

Battery charging pausing/resuming

Do you know an app, which stops battery charging at specific battery level? I have tried few of them from magisk respository, however neither of them supports Lenovo P2.

Did you try it on your own? If yes could you send me your configuration?
@mbemba
I'm using the control file "Generic charging_enabled" . Nothing else is selected. But at the moment I'm not sure if it only does a cosmetic change. The program is possibly stopping the battery counter at 80% while charging continues.

I am happy to know that someone has this working with the P2, there is some hope!
However, as many others remarked until recently (here and here), I also notice that as soon as the screen goes off, the background charging resumes.
I wonder which is the trick in your case. Do you configure your P2 not to sleep when charging? That is, then the screen is always on...

Check your options, maybe sth is different, because my P2 isnt charging even when the screen is off.
@Lucio73 You can set "keep the screen active" in the developer options while chargeing. But for me it works with screen off, too. You should check your battery saving options. Maybe you force battery limiter to go to sleep when the screen is off. I further have to make a note that it is only working with socket chargers. I doesn't limit chargeing while it is attached to an USB port of a PC. An other option is to test a lower limit like 70%.
I noticed that the chargeing status changes within minutes after hitting the limit if you attach it afterwards to an USB-PC-Port. The limit is set to 73% for example. The Lenovo P2 is charged through a socket charger until 73%. The charge status increases within a few minutes from 73% to 80% when the P2 is attached to a PC afterwards . So there seems to be an offset of about 7%.
RR-O-v6.2.1-20190130-kuntao-Unofficial + magisk + Battery Charge Limit works for me

pls help me

i have a serious problem my device take about 3 hours and 30 min to get fully charged with the stock charger and i am on last update can anyone help me ?
Stop using your mobile while it is charging. change network from LTE to 2G, or s.off your phone and charge your phone..
Atleast add screenshots so that people will understand why its taking so much of time to charge
Open battery saving when charging (in settings). And Turn off mobile data, bluetooth and gps (you can leave wifi open). Clean open apps (press long menu button, after press X).

Check you cables/charger with this app: - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.ampere&hl=en
^^^ Let the app, run for while to get to steady charge rate when you plug in the device.
Try alternative cables/charger.
3 Hours approx is the correct length of time required (standard charger) to fully charge your phone.
But you should not be doing full deep charges on regular basis. Charging get's slower at higher percentages.
