Google+ App size on the Edge - Note Edge Themes and Apps

I was wondering if the Google+ app that came installed on my Note Edge should be 1.8 gigs on the main device memory? I have my photos saved on my SD card and I notice that Google + auto updates my photos and videos to the cloud. So why would the app be almost 2gigs in size on my local drive for the Edge.

Maybe it copies the files to your internal sd and load it then up to the net???
That's the way some clouds work on your PC.....

Media Scanner so you can see internal storage pictures?

How do I set up the media scanner so apps see the pictures on the internal storage?
Why don't you save pictures and video to SD card? In camera settings you can choose SD card as default storage location.

Windows Phone 7 & Skydrive

Ive been preparing for wp7 i downloaded the zune software and now i have a skydrive account my question is how do i upload music files to my account? i can upload everything else except music? im lost here
and also when skydrive works on wp7 how will it be will it take a few mins to load up your files from the cloud or will it be like files u have on a storage card and instantly be there likke their on a storage card
you cannot upload music to skydrive. does not suppports music.
pics and docs can be upload to skydrive. phone will stream pics from your skydrive and it will automatically lower the resolution depending on the phone's resolution and screen size. all this will be very instantaneous assuming your phone is using a 3G connection.
Music files will sync via the Zune software to your internal storage (no sd card in WP7), but I guess you can stream music via an DLNA server too? Not sure...

What version of Zune did you download? i know the 4.7 version is the first to support WP7 phones..
And you can upload/download what you want to skydrive, it is just like any normal cloud storage..

Photo upload software/apps

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knew of a good app or method for instant backup of your photos/videos without having to manually copy and paste while connected to PC.
I'm currently using Google+ and it's instant upload feature to back everything up but would like something different since some of the pics I don't want to share with the world/google.
I'm fine with paid apps as long as it gets the job done, but free apps are always better.
default setting for google+ instant upload is private. so you're not sharing to the world, but only to both google and you.
if you don't mind to spend some money, "dropsnap" app is quite good for instant upload to dropbox (free 2gb cloud storage, can pay if want more)
Dropsync with Dropbox works great for me. As soon as I connect to wifi all the photos on my phone are uploaded to my private photos folder in Dropbox.

Photobucket.

Note 2 won't read my 8GB microsd but...

Whenever I try viewing files that are on my memory card, the note 2 won't show the files on the gallery or anything.
But if I open up ES file explorer, the files show up perfectly and play fine. I reformatted my card and tried it again, but no file shows up on the gallery.
I seriously doubt it's corrupt because only the gallery and native apps won't show the files. But my computer and third party file management apps show up files and folders. It's a lexicon sd card that I bought at best buy so I don't think it's a Chinese knock off.

Is the media scanner disabled ? If yes, try re-scanning the media using rescan media application.

You can use this as a guide, starting from the Google Drive app :
https://videotron.tmtx.ca/en/topic/samsung_galaxynote10plus/using_google_drive.html#step=10
Or, just start from the Samsung "My Files" app (or, whatever file app you're using) Any of them should have the share option (once you select which items you want to move), with Google Drive being one of the apps (places) you can send your item.
The Samsung My Files app shows the SD Card as soon as you open it, that's where I'd start.

Firstly, @KOLIOSIS method in his above post,
otherwise another way i do it,
is in my file Explorer (FX) ( I'm sure other file explorer is similar?)
I select the relevant video or photo ( SD card ), long press /three dots menu above /Share /then i select G_ Drive
See my screenshot
Good luck
Just use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.drivesync called Autosync for Google Drive.
