root problem
i have tried all the root methods but unable to root my phone... farma root is not working while the rest of methods are giving different adb errors ...i have installed latest lg drivers and how can i check whether i have installed adb drivers or not . do i have to install android sdk. plz i need help

Try towelroot. Worked like a charm for me.
Google it and you find it.

and one thing more my lg f180l is updated to 4.4.2
do u think bcz of this update i am unable to root ??

my mobile lgf80l support 3g/4g but as u can see in link ((download from document ....as i am new user so can't post alink)) there's no option of 3g/4g selection ...that's why i want to root my mobile but as i nsaid earlier i a have tried all root methods but failed

problem to obtain Root privilege
Hello there,
Maybe this question was asked so many time before, I'm sorry about that, but I can't find on how to solve the problem ; recently I managed to install cyanogenmod 12 on a lg optimus G E975 using CWM recovery, everything is working fine except that I cannot have the root exploit, I was trying many different methods but no success ; like flashing the latest SuperSU via recovery ; it's telling that there is no su binary found anywhere. Could you give me more advice please, Thank you.

Apps that require root access like "Disable Service" confirm no root access and the need to update my SU binary. How would I do this? I am having the same problems. I read in the thread that you have to flash the root with the updated supersu? maybe. But i don't want to do this b/c i just finished transferring my data.

I do believe in the second or so part there is the super su zip you can flash without issues.

ZVE OTA available, currently on ZVD Affliction ROM, What To Do??
I currently have a Sprint LS980 (LG G2) and about a month ago, I flashed the final release of the ZVD Affliction ROM and have loved it, other than a few annoying bugs, but otherwise it is great. I just saw the notification that an OTA update is available and after checking online, it is the fresh ZVE release, that has a few new features. My question is, for all those that have the ZVD affliction ROM currently, have you attempted the ZVE OTA? What happened? Or should I just disable the notifications and ignore it for now? Thanks guys
P.S. I know I have a fairly low post count, but have been reading the forums for a long time and am very knowledgeable and skillful when it comes to android and coding

Don't take it. In sprint general g2, I believe, autoprime has the zve update if you have yourself back at stock with no change. Or an anonymous source gave him a made zve tot. Which works.
When I can, hopefully sometime this week. I'll see if I can pull system and put a rooted zve base out.

The Black Screen after initial boot
How does the black screen usually last. Mines is 15+ mines with nothing but my LED changing colors. Is this common or is there a issue with my download?

Reading through this, mip67 Is a data issue. Try updating your profile, prl. If that doesn't work contact Sprint to verify your phone info.

I've updated everything and they reactivated my phone.
Still didn't fix the problem.
I might try a tot restore to the ZVE since the mip67 might just be my phone.
Something keeps messing with enabling/disabling my data when I go 3g or roam.
Thinking it is the LTE tweak in the rom.

Update: FIXED

Hi guys. I have searched the thread and maybe I missed it. I get a fc on text to speech apps. Such as Pdf to speech app from the Amazon app store. I tried also talk (text to speech app)and its the same thing. Anyone else have this? Thanks.

I am also using F400L. I rushed to update my device to lollipop 20C without having rooted or tweak prior the update. Now I feel regret. I noticed that my device can not run USSD code anymore on top of that I feel annoyed every time when i punch in the number and try to make a call and the phone automatically adds south korea country code.
Can you check the this rom can run USSD code? and can make local call without having to manually add local country code?
By the way is there a way to flash to this rom from my current official 20C?

Thanks bud. I guess I have to find a way to downgrade to Kitkat and start from there.

I just updated my F400K to 20E via LG PC suite. Is there a difference between having my stock rom and rooting it, to flashing this 20C rom? What would the difference be between 20c and 20e, anyway?

Currently using this rom, but since moving to Lollipop, my car bluetooth only works for calls and not for media. Does anyone have a fix?

Cannot root and cannot access storage
Hi,
Since I installed this ROM I have not been able to access the storage on the phone using file transfer apps. Downloads from the browser also do not work
Also trying to root it using purpledrake like failed unlike previously before installing this ROM, where it rooted easily and successfully.
I'm kinda stuck now.. any help please?

Probably would be faster to borrow someone else's computer.

Latest OTA update
Will CF-Auto root work if my sprint note 2 is on kk 4.4.2 ending with nk2 for the build number, want to root my note 2 but not sure if it will work.

Is this possible?

The answer is no. :crying:
On the other hand, the unofficial CM13 is fantastic on the v500. If your tablet is no longer in warranty, I'd take the plunge and install that. I've been running it for 2 months now and am not looking back. Its so good that I will be putting it on the Mrs's gpad also. Doze on a tablet rules.

So can anyone port it from vk810/815?

I guess the hardware is same for v500 and vk810? Is it possible to flash unofficial CM13 on vk810? I don't care about the 4g.
