guys plz help
when i try to access recovery mode by pressing volume down and power button.. the recovery window does not open, even if i select recovery mode, and the phone boots automatically. Plz need help!

Go to the Settings/Accessibility/ and disable Quick boot

I have been stuck like this and need help asap plz reply as soon as possible for a solution and it stays on the LG logo and says the error and my volume button dont work so i cant go in download mode plz anyone.

u can enter download mode only if the phone is connected to a system.. connect the phone to system through usb... and then try with key combinations.. it should enter download mode now :good:

Slight correction... First, you need to turn the phone OFF. Then hold BOTH Vol. buttons and connect the USB cable to a PC. That will get it into the DL mode.
But I don't know how to do that if Vol. button(s) don't work...

Im trying to flash a rom with ODIN on my galaxy grand duos i9082. I try with volume down + home + power and with volume up + power and all times it takes me on recovery mode.
I tried also with adb (adb reboot download) but it restart the phone only no download mode.
Please any idea how to enter in download mode with another method?

I think it have the official becouse the phone is new from the box. No i havent try jig.

Hii friend what is a problem with phone why r u flashing phone? please explain to enter download mode you should press vol down + Home+Power (press power at last because if you start with power it will get turn on)

I have exact same issue. All The button combinations boot to recovery.
vol down+menu+power and
vol up+menu+power boots into recovery everytime.
adb reboot bootloader command reboots the phone to a dark screen with "fastboot mode...." written at the left bottom. pls help
I just discovered there's an issue with my imei too. both imei show invalid. i do not have an efs backup and i can't boot into download mode meaning odin is out of it. Any help would be appreciated.
is there any custom rom installed if yes then usually in reboot option of it u will get reboot to covery or download mode etc via tht u can enter or when booting up press home button volume down button and while pressing power this on, or if u have rooted ur phone use xposed modules and via that change boot menu options and via that restart into download mode, hopeit works....

I have a problem with bricked one x. I get it from my family. It has unlock bootloader and installed cwm. I tried to do something with that but it's first htc in my hand and i'm green. When i turn on phone it shows htc logo and than boot into recovery it doesn't shows me white screen with fastboot option etc , automatically run cwm. I wanted to flash kernel but I can't turn on fastboot mode or I don't know how. Please help my what should I do wake the phone up.
To Enter Fastboot mode
1. Switch off phone completely
2. Press and hold volume down and power
Phone should open in fastboot mode
Use vol up/vol down to make menu selection
Use power button to execute selection

I can't turn off phone , only possible when my battery goes down. I solved that problem. I flash kernel with recovery (twrp) then by adb push moved rom on phone memory flashed rom and kernel and it works. Please close thread.
I have installed the twrp recovery 2.8.7.0 on my htc desire 820 dual sim, but when i press reboot system in the twrp (REBOOT MENU) then phone REENTER in recovery again & again. plz tell me any solution.
First go to reboot and then press power off
Let it power down and wait for a second or so Connect the phone to a usb cable (charger or computer) and as soon as you have connected press and hold vol up ,vol down and power button all togethher ,remember you have press all the buttons as soon as you connect the cable to the phone or else it would reboot in recovery again
On a side note ,always turn off the phone and then boot into recovery ,don't boot via an app or through os ,use the the traditional vol up and power

Dont restart directly into recovery. Restart always into bootloader, and from there into recovery. Now you can reboot directly to system.
But only when you come from bootloader.
If you boot directly into the recovery the TWRP cant handle the flag and it will end in a bootloop back to recovery 10 times.

POWER OFF THE DEVICE ,THEN START IN BOOT LOADER MODE ( press and hold Volume Down + Power button for about 5 seconds.)
THEN POWER DOWN FROM THAT MENU..THEN START AGAIN...DONE

solution::; bro just open your device cover remove bettry. then try home buttone power button and volume up butto.. press these three button at same time for 10 second u will get recovery mode .
The best way to get this done is to use Android Debug Bridge (adb).
Get Android SDK on your PC, plug in your Android Device, and run adb reboot recovery in ADB shell.
That command restarts an Android device in recovery mode.
