EuphoriaOSUnofficial Build by Matthew_333
Code:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. A lot.
This is my build of EuphoriaOS ROM. This build is based on GPROJ sources. I have built it with Solid Kernel by Loller79.

WHAT WORKS?
Everything as far as i know
WHAT DOESN'T WORK?
You tell me (PM)
BUGS/ISSUES?
I couldn't find one, except that on booting SIM PIN first few times gives "SIM operation failed", but i have this in all GPROJ based Lollipop ROMs, and as well signal issues (from all gproj lollipop roms).
WHAT DOES IT MEAN "GPROJ BASED"?
GPROJ based are Lollipop ROMs, with Kernels based on stock LG kernel. Other option are GEEHRC based ROMs, which ones have kernels ported from Mako (Nexus 4).
WHY I BUILD THIS ROM?
Probably out of curiosity . Is it bad if we have more ROMs for our device? I think not, so why we wouldn't have more of them, so users can choose? That's why i built this ROM and why i will probably start building also other ROMs for this device.

Thank you

I will try
da probam

I think mine is f180k version
My phone is labeled aa f180k, rooted and has a custom rom of sling rom. I really wanted to use your rom, but forums said that if i flash e975 roms, i wont get any cellular signal. How do i flash this without losing signal ?

You have to flash modem afterwards to have signal.
Don't know which one.
Do a search on the forum or on Google.
Other thing you can do is convert your F180 to a E975.

Nice ^_^ happy to see new dev keep up the good job. It's a nice choice too. Euphoria OS is the former Mahdi ROM

I installed this ROM on my E977 along with the updated bootloader and it's the best Lollipop ROMs for E975/E977 that I'ved tried, 100% stable.
The only issue I faced was the tilt (rotation) sensor was not working, but everything else was perfect, such as charging the device while off. A friend also installed this ROM and encountered no issues at all, not even the tilting detection issue I mentioned.
Neither modem nor network signal issues, everything working fine. I flashed the build from 05/14. The sensor not detecting tilting is probably a very minor issue, installing a more recent build might fix this, it's worth trying.
Thanks for the effort dev, I really recommend this ROM to E975 users who want a stable Lollipop ROM for his/her Optimus G. :good:

Thank you for this review, it's very inspirable for making next builds New build is coming tomorrow btw.. And i didnt have any issues with sensor, i'm trying it again now with reflash, and it works.. Ill try to do something about it in next build, and builds are going to be more frequent, just now i'm trying to build Candy5 for our phone so there will be update like every second day..

Hello Matthew_333
For me it is the best , almost everything works fine , exept when headset use, the other side say they hear me very low .
Thank you.
My phone is E975 Int .

From all the latest gproj versions this is the only that I could boot with sim code with just 3 or 4 tries.
Is there any way to disable Google search bar without leaving that space blank without use.

Blue screen crash in my 977

Great!!!!
I do not know how you did it, but it works perfectly at start!! The sensors,wi-fi ,messages, gps, deep slep, camera without black frames, signal......
In fact, everything works perfectly!!! I try all rom "Iscp" "Resurection" but there are always some that bugs.In this rom i dont find it. Ty bro

[ROM] PacROM Lollipop Release a5

Presenting PacROM 5.0 for the HTC DESIRE 816
UNOFFICIAL VERSION
Notes:I have the Virgin Mobile model. It should work on other variants as well.
This is BETA and CM12 is not completely finished. This is based off of Cyan12. I will NOT be taking any bug reports. If you have a bug you would like to report, it should probably go in the CM12 section. I'm open to feedback and such but if this thread gets spammed with bug submissions, complaining, etc, I will close the thread, remove all links and I will not continue to update the ROM on a weekly basis.
I will be updating the ROM every Saturday and/or every other Saturday, whenever I have time and adding the new link into the original post.

I don't work on the rom itself, so I can't/won't fix any rom related bugs (e. g. wrong translations).
I use my own kernel and device trees. I modify only the device trees and other needed trees for now.
If you have any questions about rom related things (features or something) search for it first.
I don't mind if people ask if they can't find something immediately, but often a quick search on Google or in the forum is much faster, than posts or new threads.

so i seem to be having a problem with resurrection remix and pacrom both lollipop, on this device, mostly it gets stuck on the setup screen and says settings has stopped or screen goes black or gets stuck on sim setup and when in recovery it says system isn't mounted. i dont know why. btw using twrp 2.8.5.0 htc desire 816 a5_chl virgin mobile also happens every time i flash one of them.

Honestly, I'm surprised with the stability of this ROM at such an early stage in development. It's got the usual bugs (a5dug) for anyone planning to flash this. Data, SMS etc, but other than that this ROM is good to go.

Yeah the only issue I've noticed so far is some apps (looking at play store and snapchat mainly) don't like to work with Wi-Fi on this ROM, but that could be for a variety of reasons. looks like cm12 is getting less stable recently though so it'll be interesting to see how PAC and RR work/progress

I thought that at first too, but I've tried it with several different wifi networks now and it was still like that. If I'm the only one noticing it though, then I'm sure it's just an isolated issue, so no worries.
Anyone with a5_dwg tried this?
I tried this ROM on a5_DWG. Its very smooth. No issues so far. I am using only one sim. The only issue I faced is that people can't hear my voice in calls. Can someone help?
Weekly build should be up in about 85-90 minutes from now.
Edit: The build just failed with an error relating to the Pac ROM source. I'll have to sync, rebuild it tomorrow and then upload. This is not something that I can fix.

Finally!!
Thanks for this. I have been waiting for this forever. Patience has finally paid off!!
Perfect timing, thanks!
I request you to submit your changes to CyanogenMod. If they accept it,then D803 will get daily builds as well automatically!
Does anyone know if Skype is working on this? On the other ROMs for D803, Skype audio is breaking off.

thank a lot for quick responses! will be testing tonight and let D803 flashaholics know the results in a couple of days!
I haven't noticed any bugs since i flashed it on friday, getting around 3.5 to 4 hours of screen time.
Thanks for the build zr239! I haven't flashed a new ROM on this phone in probably 10 months, but tonight is the night. I'll post my experiences and hopefully not have to post anything bug oriented

I went ahead with 2.7.0.0 anyway and it seemed to install fine. Are there any issues expected with this?

This is my build of EuphoriaOS ROM. This build is based on GEEHRC sources. I have built it with Kevinjoa's sources.

Everything as far as i know
WHAT DOESN'T WORK?
You tell me (PM)

WHAT DOES IT MEAN "GEEHRC BASED"?
GEEHRC based are Lollipop ROMs, with Kernels and device tree's ported from Mako (Nexus 4). Other option are GPROJ based ROMs, which ones have kernels ported from Official LG Sources for e975.
WHY I BUILD THIS ROM?
Probably out of curiosity . Is it bad if we have more ROMs for our device? I think not, so why we wouldn't have more of them, so users can choose? That's why i built this ROM and why i will probably start building also other ROMs for this device.
I also saw that some people prefer GEEHRC over GPROJ. And this build has modificated system size, so you can flash full gapps on it.

Thanks for the ROM, but the rotation/tilting sensor is still not working in my device (E977 with mako30f bootloader) like with the GPROJ build.
Does this ROM feature any calibration setting? I really enjoyed this Lollipop ROM, but this bug is really annoying and the only thing preventing me to stay with it. Thanks anyway.
@ksio89
Did you try to flash stock kdz? Is it working on stock?
Downloading. Thanks! I'll come with feedback.
Yes, it's working fine on stock or custom KitKat ROM, such as ArtMod.
Thank you!!! for me it's working perfect!!!
Haii,
Unrelated to Euphoria, but i have a question for you guys.. Which ROM would you want me to support next and on which base? For now im building EuphoriaOS on GPROJ and GEEHRC and Candy5 on GPROJ.. Im soon adding DU (instead of @dadi11) but i have some build errors and you will have to wait some time to figure it out.. And after this, which ROM on which base should i build?
what diferent Grpoj and Geehrc ??
i think euphorian gproj its good , but have not time for tes this rom because i have some work on rl

GEEHRC are sources ported from Mako (Nexus 4), GPROJ are sources based on stock LG sources. Differences are that GPROJ has much better colors, FM radio support, better battery life, but has more bugs... GEEHRC has a bit washed colors on screen, is more stable (at least for me), less overheating, sometimes it has sensors bug (which can be fixed by installing gee based ROM before GEEHRC) and there is no signal bug as in GPROJ. I hope this helps...

Tested it once more and sensor works good for me.. Maybe is this sensor a difference between e977 and e975? I have e975

If you can, you should try to build Blisspop or AICP both GEEHRC, that would be awesome!
Thanks!

Some other users with E977 (Brazilian variant) installed this ROM and didn't report this issue, either those who came from stock KitKat ROM or those from custom KitKat ROM, such as ArtMod. I don't get why this would make a difference, as I always do a full wipe before installing custom ROMs, it is:
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik/ART cache
format /system
install ROM and additional packages
wipe cache
wipe dalvik/ART cache
I really don't know why this is happening exclusively to my device . This ROM is absolutely fantastic and stable, and I'm really upset that this is not working in my device :crying:
Sensors and everything's working fine until now. Thanks for the bloat remover link, it saves so much time. I would like you to continue the support with this ROM, Euphoria os.
Thanks a lot, mate.

I feel ya anyway, i have same problem with proximity, it works on stock/custom kitkat and on any lollipop it dies.. So i kinda know the feel, but i learned to live with this.. If i want to call with phone, i need to use "disable proximity" xposed module.. Maybe your sensor is broken? I tryed everything and now at end i ordered new phoximity sensor on ebay...

my dear friend you must first use TWRP RICOVERY then you must wipe cash . cash dalvik . sistem . then flash to cm-11-20150125-UNOFFICIAL-gee or any gee rom of cm11 . and rom must come up then you must use ricovery twrp-2.8.6.0-geehrc . this means you must update ricovery . then you can flash Euphoria-OS-1.1-geehrc
why you must first flash cm11 ? because fix phoximity sensor

Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for any damages on your device.
The focus is to optimize the ROM in many areas and compiled it with custom toolchain Uber for more performance and smoothness.
SlimRoms was choosen as a base because it is a lightweight and not a bloated ROM, but it still has rich features. Combined with some of CM features, I bake a ROM that has more useful features but still lightweight.
The ROM and the kernel are tested by me first before I make it available online. I could have overseen something during testing, please be understanding.
Installation instructions
Coming from stock or another ROM:
Full wipe: system, data, cache, dalvik cache.
Flash the SlimSaber build.
Flash gapps from here
Flash latest SuperSU from here
Coming from previous SlimSaber build:
Flash the SlimSaber build.
No need to wipe dalvik-cache. The system will do it anyway if it needs to.
No need to re-flash gapps. Gapps will be restored back automatically by backup tool during flashing.
Known Issues
"Prevent accidental wake up" display option causes black screen when incoming call comes in
Disable it for the time being, until the bug is fixed

I will become a really happy camper if this becomes a fully supported ROM. Still using your RR 5.1 and very hesitant to change.

I was thinking about seeing about maybe being official. Considering this ROM is slightly modified the slimlp dev team might not let me. Either way, I think this is a pretty solid ROM. It doesn't have a lot of customizations, but its pretty darn close to aosp code.

I'll retry a clean flash later, back on Bliss for now - but obviously I must have done something wrong there
I can dig how it users nebula kernel right off the bat, very cool addition to the d851 lineup
I did a clean flash of
Slim-d851-5.1.1.beta.0.8-UNOFFICIAL-20151002-1502
+ Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20150922
almost everything worked ok but Clock, when tried to setup or edit an alarm just crashed, tried twice, clean flashes wiping all except internal & external.

No problem - I've been wanting to find a ROM that supports Bluetooth LE (apart from the stock ROM) so if it works here, that'd be really amazing! I have a bluetooth LE device so I can test it out and see if it does work.
Thanks for releasing this rom @aclegg2011. I've been testing it for a few days now and it's my daily driver. Everything available works. Except rro layers but thats less important. 39c idle temp when I was always running at 50c before and the battery lasted 24hrs of normal usage the first day I installed it.
*edit*
I'm using open gapps pico. I also have still not gotten voice recognition working but I'm pretty sure other people have.
Everything working perfect with opengapps. I tried slimgapps but had clock fcs.
Feature Request for Contacts app:
- There is not Groups tab on Contacts so cannot make any group operation like send a message to a group.
- Custom Fields, would be very good to be able to add custom fields.
Very good job done with this rom, actually more than a very good job, but to be perfect should have my feature request made real:laugh:

11/9/16 - Sorry for the **** build. New one should be good to go. *edit* [email protected] swear filter.
11/7/16 - Data while sleeping should be fixed. Thanks to @InkSlinger420 for pointing me in the right direction.
10/13/16 - Reverting to the former GPS blobs (see CM13 thread) breaks this rom.
10/08/16 - Some minor changes were pushed to the source. Included here.
9/28/16 - Changed model number to RIO-L03. Insignificant if you have the RIO-L01 variant. Probably the last update until either 1. CAF repo is updated or 2. Changes to fix bugs from the CM13 thread.
9/26/16 - Changed DPI to 440 (default is 480). If you don't like it, use a DPI app in the play store to change it back.
9/24/16 - added latest device changes courtesy of @surdu_petru. should see improved battery life and performance.
9/20/16 - removed NFC code. should see slightly better battery life. updated sources in OP.

Hey bro... I really enjoy this ROM... I have just a couple of questions:
Is there any way to fix the offline charging animation?
Also I get an error using open Gapps stock package, however the micro package works fine. Is there any way to use the stock package?
Thanks
1. Not that i've found yet. the same thing happens on AOSP-based roms on the honor 5x. Not sure what's up with that, but it does seem to charge when powered down.
2. Larger open gapps packages are broken on this rom. Not sure what the problem is. I recommend banks gapps for this rom. Also slim is very similar and works fine with the larger open gapps packages. has latest security updates as well.

Just a couple more questions:
I noticed my signal seems to be weaker though I haven't experienced any drops. Is that to be expected? I've noticed it particularly on 4G.
Also, will the latest security patches be included in the next update? I really like how clean this ROM is do I prefer it over other roms like CyanogenMod/Resurrection/Slim
There hasn't been much activity on the repo this ROM is built from. I'm not sure if it'll see anymore updates. I plan to include hardware fixes if/when they happen.
this ROM is awesome!
My RIO-L03 gets really slow with original huawei EMUI 3. I was expecting official EMUI 4 update but finally ran out of patience and decided to hack it. Flashed it with CM13 yesterday. All worked fine except cellular network. Then switched to this ROM and it worked beautifully. Fast and Smooth, no redundant useless packages. Can't be happier with it now. Thank you very much for creating this wonderful ROM!

the problem is that the GPS blobs this uses apparently don't like waze (i've been unable to replicate that issue, but i didn't use the app long). the GPS blobs that do work with waze cause two problems: 1. anything that uses GPS on the aosp rom causes an instant reboot. 2. they absolutely destroy battery life on the roms it does work on (see: CM13).
Not very good news

pretty sure the new build is garbage. working on a fix.
