Is this supposed to be flashed in the stock recovery? Getting updater-binary error when flashing in TWRP.
If it needs to be flashed using the stock recovery, then could you give me the .img file for the same?
Also, a stock boot.img would be welcome as well, just in case something goes wrong.
Cheers

Yup. Binary error for me, too.

Thanks a bunch. Can confirm that this fixed version is booting.
I guess OP is using a different/old updater-binary than the one needed for our devices.
Cheers
Edit: Apps optimizing at the moment, will confirm about root.

Please include the kexec patch for multirom support. Flashed the kernel but couldn't start it.

Well done Cofface, i have a small question, what do you mean by "close selinux"? did you disable it?
Edit: any sources repo?
Sorry,didn't close selinux,only close CONFIG_SEC_RESTRICT_ROOTING.

What toolchain did you use?

Ok thanks, any special config to get exFAT loaded?
GPL required
@ cofface
Please post the sources too, this a GPL requirement for kernel.
Thanks for your understanding.

Just kernel
This is kinda strange, I assume when ex-FAT is supported, my 64 gigs SD card is supposed to be able to be read but that's not the case and the only app that I can grant permission is battery stat. BusyBox and AdAway made the phone go into a bootloop. Before this, I used the old build partial root (new method) and root check showed me that it is rooted but no busybox binary.
I'm on JDQ39.I9500XXUAMDE.
rooting
will it work on my i9500DDUAMDK? i am asking this question because in build number version it shows JDQ39.I9500XXUAMDK and in Baseband Version it shows I9500DDUAMDK.

Loading the exFat modules is only half the story, to get them to work you need some additional changes (Cofface didn't actually test an sdcard?). I'll be posting a working kernel hopefully later today or tomorrow.

Update CWM to 6.0.4.3 :good:
how do i do that then? if rom manager didnt do it?
A few bugs I'm having.
1. Auto brightness doesn't stick after reboot.
2. WIFI - when in range doesn't pop up to connect. Have to do it manually in settings.

Yes It's being worked on and will come around later today
ok I'd like feedback ASAP.
This is uncharted territory for me and I'm not sure how this ROM handles G-apps so I did not include them, my best guess is flash them sep like with any other ROM beside MIUI.
Please bear in mind this is an Alpha and I went way outside of my release cycle to bring it to the S4 so please be constructive with feedback

unusual, let me look into this real quick.
I'm an idiot, the status 7 is because the ROM is trying to call LBESEC and shelld which do not exist in it; uploading a revised version now.
for folks who have the old .zip remove the LBESEC and shelld line in updater-script if you dont want to deal with a redownload
now it's workingggg awesome rom
