Battery/overheating/Wi-Fi problem - Sony Xperia T3

Hi everyone
I'm user of Xperia T3 since the beginning of this year, and I was very satified of my choice. But now appeared couple problems with my phone and I don't know how to solve it...
First problem is battery drain, it's too fast, I don't know how, but hour after unplug phone from the charger, battery stat was only 76%. Second problem is a overheating, it's a normal problem of phone, but it's annoying recently, especially when I use T3 in normal way, only using FB, Snapchat, etc. Also phone overheats when I use camera.
And the last problem is Wi-Fi, phone losing signal and when I want to rescan, Wi-Fi stopped working and only plane mode can turn off it. Also when I want turn it off normally, I think Wi-Fi still working in background so it can be reason of drain battery.
Thanks for help!

That never happened to me. You can try to do a factory reset, or use de Sony flashtool called Emma to install the kitkat again...

[Q] Battery calibration [without root] possible?

Hi,
after updating my arc to 2.3.3 i´ve a problem with my battery. the arc is running very well but there´s a big jump from 20% to 1% in just one minute. is there a chance to recalibrate my battery?
i´ve tried three times to let the phone shut down and reload but the problem still exists.
what can i do?
Try turning the phone off and removing the battery and re-inserting.
This seemed to sort the same issue I had (30% > 1% then shutdown).
so after removing the battery the phone must be without for some time?
It seems that battery drain is one of the most common issues to xperia Arc. I just bought this sexy one about last week and also encountered this problem. After doing some soul-searching and experiences, here are the key factors that help u guys alot, bcoz it works for me:
+ You don't need to get your phone rooted as the other recommended, all you need to do is reflashing your rom to the generic one. I'd recommend the O2 generic rom and Global generic rom. Bcoz they don't have rubbish software (bloat ware)running in system background and consuming your battery like hell.
+ Turn of 3g, wifi, bluetooth and location services, only turn them on whenever you need internet access. You could add the power status widget up to manage them easier.
+ The battery itself will improve day by day, it might need a week from the time you bought the phone to have its maximum capacity (it's true)
So, with my light-weight use a day, i normally get my phone worked up at least 2 days without recharging
P.S: sorry if my english get you guys confused :|

[Q] Reboot problem when not charging

I have had my P607T for a couple of months now. It is box stock no changes. Over the last few weeks I have noticed that it will reboot while using various apps. (Fliipboard, Chrome, Clash of Clans, Papyrus...) They don't seem to all be heavy graphics or network. The only symptom is that the screen starts to flash then "bang" reboot (and trouble rebooting when not plugged in). It would not be too annoying except that it will loose wifi settings and the wallpaper. I have tried different wallpapers (saw a thread blaming the live wallpapers ) Unloaded some apps (had another phone issue with FitBit and HTC blink on my N4). I stay away from CoC (my base has been raided so often now ...). Any thoughts? I am really trying to like this tablet more than my old ASUS Transformer but this reboot and reset wifi is a pain.
Thanks in Advance,
marka

Have you tried a factory reset? I'd make tmobile replace it
was hoping to avoid the reset button. Tried it and still giving trouble it rebooted while restoring apps. I bought the tablet on ebay, I don't think TMO will take it back. oh well I'll keep poking about.
thanks,
I experience exactly the same problem since the update to 4.4.2 (kitkat): The screen starts to flash, suddenly the tablet reboots. I tried a factory reset multiple times, also removed the SD card and reflashed the ROM via KIES, nothing helped so far. Also, even when plugged into the outlet for several hours the tablet didn't charge at all (I think it stopped charging when the screen saver kicks in).
A couple of weeks ago I filed a RMA request (my dealer sent the tablet to Samsung), yesterday I got it back. It was charged at 60% and when I plugged it to the outlet it actually charged (even when the screen went off). But after about one hour (the battery was still > 60%) the flashing reappeared and after a while the tablet started to reboot again. Interestingly the battery now showed only 2% and the low battery warning appeared.
I think the problem might occur only when the battery runs low (which happens very fast as something seems to drain the battery), while android still shows a much higher battery level . Never experienced these problems when the tablet was plugged in so far.

At least I don't feel so alone with this issue... I have been paying more attention to my build up process since the factory reset. I found, the other night quite by accident, that when I logged in to Twitter the reboot started. So for the next few days I have left Twitter off the machine and it is doing better. I suspect that something is hitting the power drain (like you mention) and that causes it to have problems. In that thought I have also turned off the power saving mode and auto screen now just to add to the list of things I am avoiding.

Have you considered rooting and using root apps to stop the apps from being able to do such things?

Do I have a bad battery too?

1. Bought it used - c6502. Phone arrived with around 10% battery, everything looked fine and then it kept shutting off every time I tapped the camera icon. It was on android 4.4.2
2. Charged to 100%, after hard resetting (using the button next to the microsd slot) couple times, it finally turned on, updated to 4.4.4, used it whole day without any problem and then google play services, xperia home, camera common or something simlar and whole bunch of craps stopped working when battery was around 20%. Phone was STILL on. So I turned off the phone and can't turn it back on now. Tried the hard reset button, Sony & the xperia logo show up, then I see the gray screen only. The on screen charging indicator shows around 3 bars which should be good enough to power up the phone, but it doesn't turn on! I'll let charge it fully and try again.
Can a bad battery stop all these services? or is it a software issue? As I said the phone was still on when all these services started crashing.
After reading some other threads, it feels like some kernels have battery drain issues ( I even don't know which kernel mine is running, used it for a day only). Should I try to flash a different kernel? Could you name a few that don't have battery drain issues? Or should I just get a new battery?
Thanks!

Excessive Battery Drain

Hey guys!
So I just bough a brand new Z1 compact but battery seems to be draining a lot even if the phone is idle. I have updated to the latest kitkat .157 build and have performed a repair of the OS through sony companion but the problem persists.
Stamina mode is always on, location is off, brightness is close to the lowest setting and auto sync is off. The phone has stayed mostly iddle except occasional browsing, facebooking and mild gaming.
Is this normal? What should I do?

Poor reception seems to be the cause. The phone consumes more power to keep the signal. This happens on every phone. I don't think thats excessive battery drain
Hope this helps.
You can install g Sam battery monitor and check there whats cause the problem in my case from yesterday my phone is keeping awake and main process is kernel I need to flash whole rom today via flashtool because ovee night my battery drop about 15% and wakelock detector doesnt detect anything
After some googling I found THIS which has helped me, I've also disabled Google Location Manager Service & Google Location service as they were running all the time, not sure off the knock on effect just yet as I only disabled them last night.

[ROOTED] [NOKIA XL] [STOCK ROM WITH GOOGLE SERVICES]Battery calibration issue.

I'm using rooted Nokia XL and had installed InitailL-Rom and was facing the WiFi and WiFi hotspot problem. After I have fixed the hotspot issue on my Nokia XL by flashing stock rom using Nokia Care Suite, everything is working well only except the battery consumption has been awful. And this problem started all of sudden out of nowhere. Before fixing the WiFi issues my battery was working well and right after I fixed it this problem started. I'm not saying that there's some problem with the WiFi-fix. I actually dont understand what the problem is and just asking if somebody could help me either understand it and/or help to solve it, just in case. So here is some brief description of how I'm looking at this problem.
Now, I dont know what could have caused this, but "Cell Standby" contributes about 50% or more of the battery consumption. I re-flashed the rom a several times just to make sure the flash was proper and not dirty.
I looked it up on google and found out that its kind of a problem for many and also that its about how the phone maintains the network and tried the first-hand solutions like keeping my data service off and etc etc.
But even though still the battery would last only for 6 hrs with no usage, 2.5 hrs when playing videos, which I guess are really awful stats. My battery's health is good and I've even tried a ton of recalibration apps and methods for like over the last whole month but nothing seems to work out. My phone dies unexpectedly at around 20-40% of the battery remaining. When I try to turn it back on, it doesnt turn on unless plugged into charging. Immediately after plugging into charging and switching it on; the battery bar is half filled or sometimes even more than that. Any ideas and/or help would be great.
