Sorry for not adding that it is a hard brick as my phone is stuck on the logo and it does go into the normal recovery mode but i dont have cwm recoveryand when i turn it of it keeps on coming back to the logo by itself.

then unrar. then u will see a folder "dload"
copy it on your external sdcard (with a pc)
preferably the sdcard must be empty and formated before
make sure the phone is of. insert sd card.
then pres power+vol up+vol down

Sorry i shuld have mentioned this earlier iam actually using the huawei ascend mate (mt1-t00) while i think this rom is for the mt1-u06 version

Hi!
Please download from your HAM an stock firmware! Extract UPDATE.APP from this firmware and cpoy UPDATE.APP on your external sdcard in directory /dload. In your external sdcard you must see /dload/UPDATE.APP.
Now pot your sdcard on your device, ( make sure your device is not connected with USB cable !) press and keep at the same time : volume down, volume up & power button ! After awhile your device will be able to re-write your firmware from /dload/UPDATE.APP.

Please remove USB cable to be able to flash stock firmware on stock recovery ! If you already tried to flash stock firmware without USB cable connected, than it looks like you need to go to service centre, because module VERLIST cannot be written on your device !
I was in the same situation, my issue was ( writing module SYSTEM failure ) !

I would redownload the update.app. the zip could be corrupted. Also make sure when you unrar it use 7zip or winrar. Once i used the windows archiver and it wouldn't work.

I have almost the same problem and reaaaaallly would love to get some help. I bricked the HAM during installation of CM10.1. Had root acces and TWRP, But now it just gets stuk in the HUAWEI ASCEND screen.
If I boot into huawei recovery it goes into boot look during and can't finsish installation!
Is there anything I can do?? Or is my phone dead?

Sorry i meant it will get stuck in a Boot loop, it keeps restarting itself.
So it starts with the update and then it checks all the =ok but it only comes to SYSTEM and then it reboots itself.

Try this, and see if it works.
1. Make sure the SD card is formatted as fat32.
2. Redownload the UPDATE.APP
3. Make sure when you are doing the update make sure your HAM is not connected to the PC via USB cable.
If these don't work, go into recovery and choose wipe cache/factory reset. Try rebooting and see if anything happens.

Thanks I tried both with no succes
If I go in huawei recovery by pressing Power + volume up +volume down and do a full wipe HAM will reboot itself automatically after 10 secs still get stuck in Boot screen Huawei Ascend after reboot.
I formatted the SD and put the Update.app in dload folder. HAM is not connected to PC. Still it comes no further then checking system before it switches itself off agian.

I have an International version of ascend p6 -06 with B107.
I was trying to install kitkat into it.Its rooted.
I downloaded the UPDATE.APP from one of the forums.I installed twrp and I thought I can use to flash the new ROM using it,but I couldnt find the option,I read somewhere only the zip files can be installed through TWRP. Whenever I press the volume+ + volume- + power button,the phone starts with the TWRP directly than doing any update .I have put the UPDATE.APP file in dload folder in my SD card,still it was not updating with that given shortcut.
I did a stupid thing just now,I wiped all datas using TWRP and now i have no OS installed ,and like that my phone is bricked.now if i switch on the phone it gets stuck at huawei ascend Logo.and if i press volume up and down buttons along with power button,then it goes to TWRP ..
pls pls pls help me ,and thanks a ton in advance.

you habe to set your phone into bootloader mode..push power and Volumen + (or -) together and hold them for about 5sec until you See the huawei ascend Logo (it stucks there - thats OK)..
then Connecticut your p6 to the pc and Start your ADB..
depending what Firmware you want (JB or KK) you habe to get a stock recovery IMG..
this can be flashed by ADB using the known commands for flashing recovery..
when you have the stock recovery you can put an update.app (e.g. from the last b511) onto your SD card Ingo the dload folder..
then you habe to unplug your phone from pc and press all three buttons (power and Volumen +/- together) and hold them until you See the Android Figure (force update method)..
should work..
if not then you have to search for the twrp sideload feature (via Google)..

no. I used a huawei P6 toolkit.
OK...then there should be the Option to install/flash a stock recovery..

I downloaded the abd driver installer 1.0,it identifies my phone.but once i press the button for installing the error pops up.,incompatible with win 8 (64 bit.)now what to do??

The option of installing stock recovery is there,but now when i can connecting the phone its not recognising.it shows phone not connected.

I have no words to thank you..finally its done..the adb drivers were not installed well,thats why it was not picked up by the tool.I updated the stock recovery image and it rebooted and installed well...thanks a ton again..and I appreciate your fast replies.I had spend 2 days only in this.its such a releif.:victory::victory:

I am sorry to trouble you again.yesterday i updater to B508 kitkat,but gprs or 3g were not working.so today I downloaded the B512 version.in this version if iam putting the dload file in SD card,it doesnt read it.I have to put this in internal storage itself.This time my phone is stuck in the normal android recovery stage as I dont have TWRP installed (I guess,the same shorcut is not starting TWRP).
And to update to the older version the update.app file should be there in internal storage which i cannot assess at this point since mobile doesnt start..what do I do??

maybe you have to go to another Version (b122 or b132)..
but the only method that might now work is the 3 buttons (power and vol +/- together)..and you have to hold them until you see the Android figure (can take more then 10 seconds.. be patient)..
if this won't work then i'm too speechless (hadn't this case before)..

It worked.I fomatted the sd card and left only dload folder .and used the same version which was originally working (508).now its reverted back to normal ..half my tensions are over.but the i wanna change from this rom,in this my internet doesnt work..I wanted to install B510,but for that I have to install B132 first,which i am trying.but its not working.Any idea what should be done.?
try to flash then recovery Form b132 (usw the huawei update extractor to create one..can be found here in then forum)..then via force update you should be able to installiert then b132..and from there it is easy to load then b512 for example (system update local or force update (there you don't need to change the recovery)..

You meant I shoould make a recovery for B132 using huawei update extractor.I have the P6 tool with me,if i update a recovery image for jellybean (currently its kitkat) will that be enough??

I made B132.zip file and using TWRP i installed it.It showed the istallation was successful,and i rebooted to the system and its stuck in huawei ascend logo and its not moving from there.I tried again using the vol- + vol+ + powerbotton,Its restarting to the sa,me logo.somehow recovery is not working.I think now I am really screwed.

Have you tried to turn it off and on again? That was not a joke. Press the POWER Button for 10-15 sec and when the screen goes black use the VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER Button. Now you shuld get to the recovery. Please use Ascend P6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting the next time.

Your phone boot or not ?
"Yes" > You can update throught the settings > More info > Update > Local Update
The update.app need to be in \sdcard\dload folder if you don't have create it If the dl file is a .zip unzip it into you will see the update.app
and if you allow debuging mode (Spam the build number in settings > More info and you will be allow to access to the dev section (in settings) and tick debugging mode then connect to your pc (check the debugging mode in the notification bar)) you can now access to the recovery using adb
For Adb you can dl it here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2636231 and follow the instruction to connect your phone then write this line in the command window

your phone will boot into recovery

The version you have dl is old, latest JB is B132 and KK is B513 for the p6-u06 international (these rom are multilanguages)

I´m Trying to make this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2630208) work on my Huawei,
but i´ve run into some problems.
I cant get my phone to go in fastboot and ADB keeps saying Waiting for devices or says Error device not found.
This image shows what im getting if i connect my phone to my PC and reboot it using VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER

This phone is secureboot phone.
This phone is LOCK state.)

Hi guys,
I can get to recovery mode and the initial splash screen, but not into Android OS on my Huawei p6 U06.
I tried reflashing the rom via SD card with UPDATE.APP B111, but it still fails to boot and hangs on the splash screen.
Another weird thing is that my splash screen doesn't show the huawei logo but an android logo....
I tried to adb the phone but there are no suitable drivers for phones in recovery mode... only for USB developer mode...
Hopefully there is a fix to this.

The debugging mode is off so the device can't be found by adb.
If you can't use stock recovery and you can't flash any recovery because you can't access throught adb, your phone don't boot .. I don't know what to tell you .. your phone is dead ? .. how your phone is in this condition ?

Which Recovery ? Stock or TWRP ?

Stock :
Try with B125 or B132 because B111 is too old maybe it's the cause of the problem.
sdcard\dload\Update.app and reboot into recovery "Power (hold) + Volume up (hold) +Volume Down (hold) then when you see the ascend logo just Volume + & - (hold)

1- reboot system now
2-apply update from extrnal stoarge
3- wipe data/factory
4- wipe cache partition
5-apply update from cach
when i choos apply update from extrnal stoarge and select dload no theing apper all empty folder like 00/

Have you put Update.app in /sdcard/dload ?
You can try with a formatted sdcard sometimes it's the problem

This method works for both variants (16 GB and 32 GB). I just whant to make an thread because 2 days ago i just bricked my nexus 5x 16 GB by lock bootloader with Resurection
Remix installed and with an custom recovery (TWRP). After 1 day of searching i give it up. Yestarday i just start again and i did it .
THIS WAS TESTED WITH AN NEXUS 6P ORIGINAL CABLE. DO NOT USE AFTERMARKET CABLES BECAUSE DON`T HAVE THE SERIALS PINS AND THE LGUP AND PC WILL NOT SEE YOUR PHONE IN DOWNLOAD MODE

Steps
1. Download TOT file for your device
2. Download LG usb drivers
3. Download LGUP tool
4. Download 8994 dll for LGUP
5. Install LG usb drivers
6. Install LGUP tool
7. Install 8994 dll for LGUP
8. Turn off your phone
9. Press and hold the volume_up key while you connect the phone to the PC with usb cable.
10. Wait for Windows to install the new drivers
11. Start LGUP
12. Put the TOT file like in the screenshot.
13. Push start and wait
14. Let the progress to 100 %.
15. The phone will boot and will recive and message about your internal memory problem (16 GB variant) because the TOT file is for 32 GB model.
ignore that message
16.Now unlock bootloader (enter in develop mode tick that button enter on bootloader and just use fastboot oem unlock press yes . The phone will factory reset and enter
again on the android)
17. Reboot to bootloader and move the arrows till see recovery mode ! Keep press the power button when the recovery animation apear and press twice vol + and wipe data/cache
like a factory reset, and then just use ADB SIDELOAD from recovery
18. Copy on the adb folder the Android N 7 OTA and use on the pc on cmd adb sideload name.zip , after finish reboot
19. The phone will enter on Android N 7 . BECARFULL BECAUSE AFTER BOOT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED AUTOMATICALY AFTER ANDROID 7 N WAS INSTALLED.

I followed the steps, however at step 15 my phone just froze at the Google logo, but I have the 32 GB variant so that may be expected (Note that I enabled OEM/bootloader locking like an idiot when trying to solve this a few hours ago). I waited ten minutes and it remained stuck at that logo, so I rebooted into the bootloader, went into recovery, and ran "adb sideload bullhead-ota-nrd90m-fdb8250a.zip". It seems like it installed without any problems, except when I booted back to system, I got stuck at the four dots again...
Could any LG experts provide insight? I'm about to just have the phone replaced, but I'm flying across the country in less than a week, so I'll need a phone...

Steps
1. Download TOT file for your device
2. Download LG usb drivers
3. Download LGUP tool
4. Download 8994 dll for LGUP
5. Install LG usb drivers
6. Install LGUP tool
7. Install 8994 dll for LGUP
8. Turn off your phone
9. Press and hold the volume_up key while you connect the phone to the PC with usb cable.
10. Wait for Windows to install the new drivers
11. Start LGUP
12. Put the TOT file like in the screenshot.
13. Push start and wait
14. Let the progress to 100 %.
15. The phone will boot and will recive and message about your internal memory problem (16 GB variant) because the TOT file is for 32 GB model.
ignore that message
16.Now unlock bootloader (enter in develop mode tick that button enter on bootloader and just use fastboot oem unlock press yes . The phone will factory reset and enter
again on the android)
17. Reboot to bootloader and move the arrows till see recovery mode ! Keep press the power button when the recovery animation apear and press twice vol + and wipe data/cache
like a factory reset, and then just use ADB SIDELOAD from recovery
18. Copy on the adb folder the Android N 7 OTA and use on the pc on cmd adb sideload name.zip , after finish reboot
19. The phone will enter on Android N 7 . BECARFULL BECAUSE AFTER BOOT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED AUTOMATICALY AFTER ANDROID 7 N WAS INSTALLED.

my Boot loader locked and never unlock with nexus root toolkit
what can i do now?

my bootloader was locked too ! let me know all details but if your phone boots in bootloader will work even your bootloader is locked ! so you need to have and original cable or compatible one because if you boot on download mode your pc don`t reconigze the phone ! aftermarket cables don`t have serials pins !
1. boot on download mode
2.write that TOT file (maybe you will remain stuck on google logo after you write the TOT file)
3.Enter on recovery mode wipe/cache and then use adb sideload to write the ota zip file (this will repair your partiton )

it`s working with 32 gb too ! mine is 16gb i unbrick my phone with 32 gb TOT file.... thats the reason why i send via adb sideload the android n ota file to repair the partition table...

hi again. i flash the tot. after that i wiped cache partition on recovery. and i flash the bullhead-ota-nrd90m-fdb8250a.zip with sideload on recovery. process completed successfully but in middle of flashing This message appears:
E: unknown command [log]
i checked log and This is what was written:
E:faild to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/last_locale
locale is [(null)]
then i reboot and my phone stuck in boot and reboting again
my phone is locked so i cant flash cache.img with nexus root toolkit
what can i do body?

after you flash the tot file your phone starts? Try after you write TOT file to enter on recovery and use wipe/cache factory reset and see if boot ! Don`t write the ota file only after you check if starts after you write TOT file. I will upload for you another OTA file to try with this. i will send you the link, it`s a beta one because when you use this OTA will erase everything and will repair the partitions and will lock the bootloader. Try with this OTA file. Try to boot after you write the TOT file. I was destroy 2 days when i bricked my nexus, i know how it is......! Let me know if you will win this time. I hope you will unbrick your phone

got to step 10 my phone was stuck at zero percent on the firmware update screen and the windows computer was not doing anything related to driver install

my phone got stuck on the google logo after step 15 and i tried to do what yo said and go into recovery but when i boot itto recovery there is a Android man with a red triangle and an exclamation mark. plz help!! also twrp got erased when i use the lg tool
There is a combination of up and power button. Google how to get into stock recovery. This is what you see.

I was wondering how to create a TOT file by myself.
Is there any guide somewhere?
Sorry for raising this thread from the dead but what can I do if my device isn't recognized on my computer in mode 9008?
I connect it to my computer but it's not doing a thing and after a few seconds boot up with this error.
I had to fix a couple of bricked selfie phones (z00ud and z00udb but i assume this works on any selfie zd551kl model), that were probably bricked by autoflashing wrong firmware, so after spending a few days going thru many different tutorials, this is my tested method on how to fix them (or if you wanna get a cheap phone from taobao and turn it into a decent one), obviously it wasn't extensively tested, so take it as is . Some steps MIGHT be unnecessary but i didn't want to skip them as i was just glad i found a way how to get the phones to completely stable, latest firmware from useless paperweight.
A. if fone doesnt accept any firmware,or bricked,bootlooped etc. flash basic CN firmware, regardless is recovery WW or CN
- Instructions:
1. go to phone recovery (PWR button + VolDwn, release PWR on logo)
2. on phone select adb bootloader, it switches to fastboot mode (or hold PWR button + VolUp, release PWR on logo)
3. on PC unzip archive and start the autoflash .bat file
4. start the phone
files: archive (Asus Zenfone Selfie Z00UDB ZD551KL 3+16 here )
B. upgrade CN/WW firmare to latest version
- Instructions:
1. on PC install adb drivers
2. go to phone recovery (PWR button + VolDwn, release PWR on logo)
3. on phone select adb sideload
4. on PC, copy firmwares into adb folder
5. on PC go to adb folder and start cmd in that folder (shift+Rclk)
6. type adb devices to check connection, then adb sideload firmwarename.zip
7. start the phone
8. repeat all steps until latest CN/WW firmware is installed
files: adb drivers adb-setup-1.4.3 here , firmwares here(UL-Z00T-CN-1.13.40.661-user,UL-Z00T-CN-1.14.40.695-user,UL-Z00T-CN-1.15.40.1548-user)
C.swap CN firmware for WW, upgrade to Android 6
- Instructions: (also someone elses crappy YT video instructions here )
1. on PC install vc x86 and x64 redist packages for 2010,2012,2013 to prevent .ddl missing errors when running flashtool
1. on PC install asus flash tool
3. on fone turn on usb debugging in developer settings (click on about>sw info>build number)
4. turn off fone then start it in fastboot mode (hold PWR button + VolUp, release PWR on logo)
5. connect the fone to PC, start the autoflash .bat file from the firmware folder (CSC_ZD550KL_1_2_0_70_fac_eng_20150905_secure)
6. disconnect usb, wait for fone to reboot, then disconnect the battery on boot logo (remove back cover in advance)
7. return the battery, and start the fone again in fastboot mode, check for extra info on screen
8. on PC start the flashtool, connect the fone in fastboot mode, check if connected, select the model (ZD551KL), select wipe data
9. on PC, browse to firmware (WW_ZD551KL_1.15.40.1582-bsp-user-20160510203701-secured-release) in flashtool, click start, chose Yes for both options (wipe and image promt), wait until flashing is over
10. disconnect and start the fone
11. connect the fone to PC, copy the firmware (UL-Z00T-WW-21.40.0.1692-user) to internal memory or SD card and wait for the fone to recognize the package and auto-update to Android 6
12. connect the fone to PC, copy any newer firmware to internal memory or SD card (no need to copy next iteration or 2156 build, you can go to for ex. 2214 build right away) wait for the fone to recognize the package and auto-update to newer build of Android 6
files: vc redist packages here , firmwares (WW_ZD551KL_1.15.40.1582-bsp-user-20160510203701-secured-release here,CSC_ZD550KL_1_2_0_70_fac_eng_20150905_secure here), Android 6 firmwares here
Are those steps A,B and C and we should follow everything or methods and just follow only 1? I have a Z00UD Asus Model phone, should I still use the firmware Z00UDB from step A? Thank you!!

Depending on your issues, you should pick the step you need, in case nothing works on your phone start with step A, otherwise start with the step that is appropriate for your problem.
Thanks for this guide. Tried this but get stuck at FRP of ASUS. Google mail was on previous owner. Any solutions?

not sure i understand, are you saying your phone is locked with the account from the previous owner ? if so then just do a factory reset from recovery and setup with your own account.

What zip exactly, some should be done like in the tutorial, others can be flashed from recovery
I use the bootloader from your archive on a Z00UD and it is bricked (will remain on Asus screen)...
