The US firmware? The US uses the WW SKU which is supposed to work in basically all counties that don't have their own SKU.

Hi. I have an SM-P605, which I bought in the USA, off of Amazon.com, before bringing it to Canada. Samsung haven't rolled out any 5.1.1 firmware updates for North America yet, and I'm starting to wonder whether there is one on its way or not.
Looking at the firmware updates listed on this page http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-P605, is there one that is most suited for installation on an English, North American SM-P605 device? Or, are all of these firmwares for different regions the same?
I want to convert HTV32(HTC10 for Japan region) to WW or US firms, except its compatibility of LTE-Bands.
Because of some reasons:
I'm in Japan and HTV32 is compatible with LTE-bands I want(LTE-Band1,3,and especially Band19).
But the original firmware of HTV32 includes too many bloatwares that other versions of firmware don't include.
So in short, I want a WW or US version of HTC10 with LTE-Band19 compatibility.
I wonder this can be realized with flashing the WW firm and HTV32's original radio, but I don't know it really works.
Does anyone know any examples like this?
Or if you have any infos about this topic, would you share it to me?

You need european version, so G710EM (64GB) or G710EAW (128GB)
i get that i need the european version but the american handsets will work too and i've been told to avoid the Tmobile version at all costs.
i just needed to now which is the best variant from the american/canadian ones!

Get the 710em that's what I got when I brought mine worked fine
I told him EM or EAW is best for Europe, but he want model from America so Canadian AWM is better.

I got the LM-G710EM version, IMEI number is valid, everything seems fine, but cannot upgrade to android 9.... it should have been available since last spring... any advice? ?

I think is a crossflashed device. Mine is EM too, but came with open EU rom and it is a TIM device (italian carrier). Amazon things...
U can flash any firmw u want with lg_up 14-15, but with no ota support due to restrictions. U can always search ur region with ur imei in internet after a simple search on google, but if the device is from carrier... I recommend u a clean open eu kdz over any carrier firmware.
I plan to bring this phone for my family member whose carrier supports this phone model but only mentions models supported with software made available by them.
I suppose if it has a stock firmware or firmware from different carrier/region/country I am be out of lock and wifi calling and VoLTE may not work?
Hey mate, im from australia and can confirm that none of the australian carriers have volte/wifi available. You may need to flash a different firmware to make it appear in the settings. Its been awhile since i sold my g 5g plus and cant remember if it was there on the australian firmware or not, but i doubt it.

Thanks mate! I saw on another Australian forum that Moto G5 didnt have volte/vowifi on Telstra but the more recent moto G 5G Plus indeed had confirmed support.
Altough its possible it may need to be fladhed with EU region firmwate to work in Europe.

Are there restrictions on which firmware you can use on a device? I mean could you use European (carrier or international) firmware on a device originally shipped to the US, for example. Is it just a case of missing some features or does it break the phone altogether?
it depends on the model number and Region. for example the US version model number is F926U / F926U1, F926B is the International Version, F926N is the Korean Version... you can only put firmware on from the same region(model) as yours.
