Over Current issue...please help me - Sony Xperia T3

I had connect a 2.1A charger on my T3 device...suddenly the device reboot itself and stuck at Sony logo...I've tried those soft and hard reset using buttons but none of them worked...when i tried to use sony pc companion...always error bcoz the battery ran out first before the sony pc companion done the process...Please help me

Outch, some devices don't like too much current, and your phone is one of them. You probelly killed some of the chips, if still under warranty send it back for a replacement.

[Q] After returning to stock my phone is dead

I was using custom ROM for the past 8 months and decided to get back to stock.
Relocked the phone and run the RUU according to my phone cod.
The phone initially came up fine but after half an hour started to reboot it self and get very worm.
After 3 reboots my phone is DEAD.
It is not coming on, not charging (no led).
Tried leaving it to charge for an hour with different chargers but still unable to get it on.
Please help
update #1 - plugging the phone to a computer shows unknown device connected, the phone itself still doesn't show anything on the screen and no led is showing.
update #2 - now i am able to see on my PC APX device, i installed the drivers and i have NVIDIA USB boot-recovery device, how can i use it to recover my phone?
Apx means it's hardware. You need a new motherboard...

i have seen on LG and ASUS they are using the APX mode with nvflash to restore their bricked devices.
there is no way to do the same on HOX?
Feel free to try. Nobody has ever done so with a one x.

ZL doesn't boot after root

So, me and a friend of mine tried to Root my brand new Zl ( model no. c6502 ) after that, whenever I try to turn it on (without a charger), the device vibrates, Sony logo appears and then shut off itself. With the wall charger, right after I plug the USB cord, the LED Notification turn on in the red color, Sony logo appears again and then resets, but with another thing, after reseting the device enters in some kind of boot-loop and it simply don't stop. After I had all this headache, I tried to use both Sony Update Service and PC Companion in order to restore the "original" rom, with no success by using SUS, but with PC Companion, although, by holding the OFF button until it vibrates 3 times and then try to turn it on by pressing Vol-Up + Power Button with the charger plugged in, I managed to make it boot. The only problem is, if I take the Charger cord out, the device simply shut down, recreating the whole problem again...
My ZL is currently without BLU ( BootLoader Unlocker ) along with the original Rom installed directly from the PC Companion.
I'm worried because it looks like some hardware issue or a problem with some kind of file that assist the device in it's boot...
Besides me, is there anyone that had the same problem as mine and know how to fix this issue? Can any of you guys help me, please?
Thank you so much for the attention

I don't know if this is the same thing, but yes, I do see something like 13w18
Something similar happened to me, I fixed it by pressing the OFF button and let it go when the phone vibrated, by OFF button I mean the one that is under the cover with the sim and sd card

But you managed to make it work after only vibrating once? or after the three times?
So...After struggling with my phone for what now...5 days, now i'm having the same problem from a guy that I say these past days. While out of the Wall Charger, Sony logo appears but it doesn't boot. With wall charger, it boots, Android starts and everything works just fine, until you take it off from the charger, working for like...2 seconds, it turns off...
I think that I'm almost fixing it XD
Is anyone having the same problem as mine? Anyone who actually made it work? Please, share with us how? xD
P.S.: I'm still trying to figure it out, but help is greatly appreciated
Anyone? D:
If flashing new rom can't help, I advise you to get a warranty. There is one guy here having that similar problem, he tried so many method to fix but to no avail. To save ur time just claim the warranty.
Ur problem seem to related with power source which related with battery.

[Q] HELP! hOx wont turn on!

I was installing an app (swiftkey) and my phone froze. I manually tried rebooting but it wont turn on at all (not even bootloader). When I connect it to a power supply the LED doesn't even light up (although it had 25% battery before the problem). My phone definitely wasn't overheating (I checked immediately after to make sure nothing happened) and I wasn't OCing or anything.
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks in advance,

Is it recognized on a computer? Trying to rule out whether it's the QHSUSB_DLOAD issue that some people got, if it's recognized on a computer, and the driver installation says that, your phone's in usb download mode, as far as I know there are tools out there to kick the phone out of that mode, just not sure if it's for the One X.
P.S, what HOX is it? Because this only happens to the US variants

Thanks for responding.
I have the international version. I've also ruled out QHSUSB_DLOAD as it does not show up in my drivers list at all... any other ideas?

Hmm I'm afraid it could be a dead motherboard, try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery inside the phone

I was worried about the motherboard also although I cant believe I didnt think of checking the battery. I'll take apart the phone tomorrow see whats going on inside - thanks for the ideas.
Dead HOX
If you disassembly motherboard connect it to the PC . You should see it in control panel and also storage. Conect only battery and led diode should glow in red colour. If you end up with dead motherboard be carefull i bought one from ebay useless and 2 localy also useless. Unfortunately used motherboards on the market are mostly useless. Good luck.
Ok motherboards' gone.... I purchased a Nexus 5 32gb I think it should take my HoX's place nicely.
Thanks guys!

[Q] USB doesn't work with computers, only charging. How to flash ROM?

for some reason Sony Thailand couldn't declassified, been like this since the first day. Going back and forth to service center tons of times and they COULDN'T FIX IT. My dad's Xperia Play won't connect to ANY computer, no bing-bong sound when plugging no nothing, not see anything on the phone except that it's charging, it's like the computers aren't existed, only the power gets through.
Now Sony still not fixing this problem, so for this old phone how can I unlock it and flash ROMs without a connection to PC? By any means.
Thank you!!
Have you tried changing usb cable? Maybe it is broken (mine got broken after a week or so, and it was the original one come with the phone of course), since it's impossible that they sold you a device with damaged micro-usb port.
Or maybe it is the usb port you're connecting it to: some PCs have a lower voltage in front usb ports, so you must connect the Play to the rear ones installed on the motherboard of the PC

I think they sold my dad a faulty device and when he tried to claim it after a week they didn't want to replace the phone so they told him they could't fix it. This country's Sony is known to sell faulty devices, my last Xmini was also broken...
and yes I did try other cables, Sammy, LG and some chinese made, nothing works. They did work with my Nokia N8 and S3, however. All the ports in my PC have failed, also.
so I can do nothing, stuck with RAM hungry 2.3 bloated ROM without any solution to make it faster.
:crying:

You can enter fastboot mode by keeping pressing the search button while connecting the Play to the PC.
If it's into fastboot mode, the led goes blue.

If your phone isn't even going into flash mode than better try pulling out and reinserting the battery or try another one, and if that not works than take it to service center, no matter if you have rooted it they won't notice unless you have unlocked bootloader.
But mostly I think it's a battery problem so try another one from your friends or anyone. Good luck.
Hit thanks if I helped

I've seen this problem before with a work colleague, he got a c1905 for his daughter and within 2 weeks it did the same just turned off and wouldn't turn back on or do anything so he got a new one thru warranty pretty sure its a hardware problem on the board
