I present N910T3UVU1DOG1 5.1.1 for the T-Mobile N910T (N910T3 users should hold off on this is a flashable ZIP).

Im just starting to get my feet wet with this dev stuff. I will try to to figure something out but im sure tekhd will beat me to the punch.

While we're waiting, what's the deal with these vs say Tekhd version or echoe? I'm running echoe 5.1 right now and it's hella smooth. But I also miss xposed and some of tek's added features.
Well, whatever the differences or similarities, thanks for putting the time in to compile and upload these

Will this be for the T-Mobile N910T

well, i believe echoe is from the same device (the N910T3) just a 5.1.1 version prior to DOG1, i could be mistaken. the DOG1 tekhd posted a few days ago is only a nandroid not a flashable zip. this ia a flashable zip of that nandroid and it is deodexed. it will be easier to theme. this will be a base for whoever wants to use it or for those who prefer straight up stock. i will be working on a custom rom built of this as i learn more.

EDIT: wifi calling does not work. it enables but it is grayed out. i dont use wifi calling so apologies for assuming it did and not testing it.

If it's like Echo then WiFi calling does not work
May I ask what kernel you will be using? If it's AEL then WiFi calling will not work.

Wow. Thanks.
Coming from TEKHD's earlier odex' T3 port, and T3 trNsformation from N910T is there any special actions required to be done for the zip flash?

Thank you for the release!
I am having issues flashing on the T3 coming from EchoeRom. Tried the TEKHD kernels in the linked thread and no luck as of yet.

[HOWTO] Port N7100 ROMs to I317 and N7105

I spent the entire day yesterday trying to make Android Revolution HD work on my I317. At the end of the day, success ! and here is how:
Please do not experiment with this stuff if you're not familiar with partitions and the way things work. You do run the risk of bricking your device permanently if you don't know what you're doing. I'll write this so that developers can start porting their ROMs to the LTE variants.
The two devices are identical except for the modem (and rild files) and the GPS initialization at bootup.
1. You'll need to rewrite the updater-script in most CWM flashable ROMs to make sure.. again, MAKE SURE that you do not flash anything else except /system /data and the boot partition. Overwriting your modem partition with a modem from the N7100 phone or the bootloader partitions will blow up your phone. You've been warned ! The partition labels and numbers are identical so you won't have to change that.
2. Make sure you bundle a kernel (boot.img) from one of I317/N7105 (depending on which device you own). Obviously we're talking about TW kernels here so for example stock JB kernels or Perseus will do just fine. Do not flash boot.img kernels from the N7100 section.
3. You'll need to add and remove a bunch of userland library files from your device. I won't attach these files here but you can grab them from any I317/N7105 ROM:
Files to ADD/REPLACE (Yes, every single one counts as they're dynamically linked). The stuff in /system/bin are started by the initramfs in the kernel so add them all in as well:
Code:
./system
./system/bin
./system/bin/qcks
./system/bin/sec-ril
./system/bin/qmuxd
./system/bin/efsks
./system/bin/diag_uart_log
./system/bin/netmgrd
./system/bin/gsiff_daemon
./system/bin/ks
./system/bin/rild
./system/bin/qmiproxy
./system/bin/secstarter
./system/etc
./system/etc/gps.conf
./system/lib
./system/lib/hw
./system/lib/hw/audio.primary.smdk4x12.so
./system/lib/hw/gps.default.so
./system/lib/hw/audio_policy.smdk4x12.so
./system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
./system/lib/libnetmgr.so
./system/lib/libaudio-ril.so
./system/lib/libloc_api_v02.so
./system/lib/libril-qcril-hook-oem.so
./system/lib/libqdp.so
./system/lib/libdsutils.so
./system/lib/libqmiservices.so
./system/lib/libqmi_client_qmux.so
./system/lib/libloc_adapter.so
./system/lib/libqmi_common_so.so
./system/lib/libqdi.so
./system/lib/libqmi.so
./system/lib/libcsd-client.so
./system/lib/libloc_eng.so
./system/lib/libqmi_encdec.so
./system/lib/libqcci_legacy.so
./system/lib/libqmi_cci.so
./system/lib/libssaudio-client.so
./system/lib/libidl.so
./system/lib/libril.so
./system/lib/libqmi_csi.so
./system/lib/libdiag.so
./system/lib/libdsi_netctrl.so
./system/lib/libgps.utils.so
./system/lib/libgps.so
To remove !!! Moi importante !
Code:
./system/lib/hw/gps.exynos4.so
If you don't remove that GPS exynos4 file, HAL will load it and never the gps.default.so file so your gps won't work. Took me three friggin hours to figure out.
4. Lastly, you'll need to change build.prop so that it loads our RILD files instead of the N7100's:
Code:
replace
rild.libpath=/system/lib/libsec-ril.so
with
rild.libpath=/system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
5. ???
6. Profit.
When I get sometime, I'll try to port CM10 from the N7100 tree. Done.
im going to try this I hope it works thanks

I don't think that will be possible until we have an cm10 kernel built for our device first, can't switch in a TW kernel for their cm10 kernel without possibly bricking our phones
And to the OP of this thread:
Great work man, I know they were having a little trouble getting the roms to port on our IRC channel, hopefully this opens the flood gates for more rom possibilities :good:

I'm going to port the standard CM10 that is available at github.com/cyanogenmod Once this is completed, then we can incorporate that to all AOSP based roms.
The kernels are actually pretty close to each other. (have a look at the defconf for details). What's different is the initramfs and the userland binaries/libraries. I'll have a look at it but I need to get this audio going on TW roms first.

It all depends on how much free time I get here at work.

Copy to storage and flash with the latest TWRP recovery.
But in all reality, if your a newbie, then you may not find this ROM very useful. Its pure stock with KNOX removed. Its more geared towards other developers to build off from or for people who have the knowledge to make mods to ROMS and want to make there own personal ROM.
Its also a good starting point if you flash a ROM you dont like and dont have a back up readily avilable
CleanRom for the Note3= awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait.

Could not make a call. I changed APN settings and nothing. I am about to try a different modem and also, if I have it, the english version of the custom settings...
After numerous attempts to make a call, I have decided to go back to a dif build. I've done all I can (all I know) and nothing works for me. If someone knows a fix, I'll give this ROM another try. I will note that the camera/video recording does indeed work. Unfortunately, I did not take much time to test the audio from videos because I need to have service available, as I am in management and can't afford to miss calls.
I owned a Pantech Vega R3 and for custom roms and other info I went to vegaviet.com. Now I own a Optimus G Pro F240S and did not even looked for...lgviet.com:crying:

After numerous attempts to make a call, I have decided to go back to a dif build. I've done all I can (all I know) and nothing works for me. If someone knows a fix, I'll give this ROM another try. I will note that the camera/video recording does indeed work. Unfortunately, I did not take much time to test the audio from videos because I need to have service available, as I am in management and can't afford to miss calls.

Accidentally thanked ya lol. If you're talking about my build.prop I would NOT advise using it on this ROM. My build.prop was made for KK and this is JB.

If you can upload the build.prop for this, I'll tweak it a bit. My modified thermald.conf will work on this to fix thermal throttling and the annoying limited brightness.

No kernel included in ROM, we need freeza's beast mode kernel for root to work. Link included in instructions.
Finally upload completed. updated the OP with download link.
Thank you for this.
Did you make the sd-card write fix? Or is it the one From TEKHD?

Any chance this will work on older N910T? I have both T and T3 and I might get a chance to test this one over the weekend. It would be super cool if this can also work on T. Otherwise, would you be able to make a similar one based on N910TUVU2DOK2?

Anyone else missing wifi calling option in this rom? I can't find it anywhere. No toggle, doesn't appear in settings at all.

Just installed this ROM and can confirm, Wi-Fi calling is missing.
Also, even though I flashed KNOX Free I keep getting a warning every few minutes: "Unauthorized actions have been detected"
Before flashing this ROM, I first flashed stock tar.md5, then TWRP recovery, and then BeastMode kernel 1.1.1.
Grrrrr....that's enormously irritating.
I just noticed WiFi calling is missing as well. If this was truly from a stock TMo ROM, why is that missing?
This is a non starter for me.
Any chance we can get an update.zip to restore that missing function?

If you Google the error message, you'll find plenty of instructions on which Samsung app to remove to stop the warnings.

The lack of WiFi calling may be related to the kernel.
Looking at the kernel thread there appears to be some confusion as to what changes were made to the kernel and the pedigree of the sources used.
It does seem odd that the option for WiFi calling is gone entirely rather than just broken.
Wonder if the stock rooted 910T DOK2 ROM has the same issue?

Nah its not the kernel. I've use the kernel before on DOG1 stock rom and it had wifi calling. This rom seem to have wifi calling completely stripped out of it.
Certainly appears that way. I also had WiFi calling working on DOG2 with the v1.1 kernel.
Now using the v1.1.1 which is supposedly built entirely from the 910T3 sources for DOG2.
Where do we get bootloader and modem?

this is not an odin file. it is a rom flashable in twrp. if you want complete stock rom odin the tar.md5 file. it is exactly the same with exception to what i have mentioned in OP. again this rom is not for the everyday user. it can be used for that if you wish. but in all truthfulness it is meant to be used by rom developers. it is nothing more then a base to start from in creating a custom rom of your own to keep for yourself or share with the community.
Dude your a beast we appreciate everything you do for us on this phone, xda would be an even better place if more people like you were on each device on XDA.

Yesterday I flashed stock EPG2. One thing I noticed: Bluetooth was an option for tethering! Yay.
Then I went through a round of debloating -- probably too aggressively, as I started experiencing major lag and reboots. So today I wiped partitions and then flashed this devbase. The devbase actually sounds attractive: very close to stock except already rooted and no KNOX.
But there's no Bluetooth in the options for tethering now, just USB. Any thoughts as to why?
@OvrDriVE, please consider releasing the same (rooted/deodexed/stock/knox free) for the 915T -- build PG2:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/84528/N915TUVS2DPG2_N915TTMB2DPG2_TMB/
I can upload the stock image to androidfilehost if it will help.
The forum is here:

lol, i'm still lurkin around somewhere.
I know this is a dev base, but whatever you removed or tweaked is great. All I had to do was remove the two stuff and some stray Sammy stuff I never use. It is more snappy than stock and doesn't lag on texting and such like it was. Thanks.
Hi guys, i installed stock pg2 in my phone, but in languages have only 7 languages, somebody know how i can install more languages? I try morelocale2, and other to try portuguese brazil, but, translate partial only... Thanks!
what's the difference between dev base vs regular? As a normal user could I use this?
