Try this MOD - it's for CM11.0 - [MOD]{CM10.1}{CM10.2}{CM11}{AOSP}Working Int2Ext for Xperia 2011 [ART-compatible]
Take a backup before trying.

Which build of CM11 do you use?
You enabled ART after installation of the script or before?

Ok, thanks a lot!
If i understand right, you flashed script without clean install (dev wrote in manual - Flash the script BEFORE the first boot) and it worked?????
I think, dev means "clean install" - That is probably because not all apps will work after flashing script on working ROM.

had problem with gapps...(forced closed) i restored my backup >_<
took to much time,so.. i give up for now. didnt want to try clean installation and install ART gapps

update working untill 5.10 and only ART version working
so it wont so helping cuz i cant update

[Q] Can anyone do me a guide for Apps2sd

1/ Please could someone do me a guide, of how to setup my 8gb sd card.
2/ Whats apps i need from the Market store to run them
/
3/ A link if possible for the application for my HTC desire.
Just a little confused, i have a rooted phone, and stock / Market fixed rom
installed running froyo 2.2 (which is excellent. )
I would be very greatful.
Many Thanks
Sean
1: backup all data on the SDCards as it will be wiped
2: if it is not already in the ROM - install ROM Manager: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/tools/rom-manager_fjxs.html
3: use Rom Manager to partition the SDCard. (I use 'no swap' and 512MB EXT3)
4: put the data that you backed up in step 1 back on the SDCard
5: install a ROM that supports app2sd. All ROM cooks publish if whether their ROM supports apps2sc or apps2sd+
5: reinstall all your apps. They will now be installed on the SDCard until that runs out of space.
6: done.
I have rooted my htc desire with Goldcard, installed Involkd image for recovery
do i need to run any scripts or anything to get the apps2sd to work, i currently have Market fixed rom installed, as like to keep it as close to the org rom as possible,
So if the apps2ds is not installed with the rom were can i download this from, please you give me a link,? so i can flash this to the phone. also how do i use that rom manager, what is no (Swap)
Many Thanks for the help.

No. On booting the phone will link the memory on the SDCard to your internal memory, so the phone thinks it is loading all apps in internal memory, while it is actually stored on the SDCard.

This ROM does not support App2sd. If you want to stay close to the original AND use apps2sd, use a ROM like NextSense: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=742371

On creating an extra partition on your SDCard, the Rom manager will ask what size the swap part needs to be (I used 0) and what size the EXT3 (I used 512).

No problem.
This Rom seems to be very unstable, i want a rom close to the org as possible, but also to include apps2sd, or a download for app2sd how to guide please.
I love the one i got, as its hardly been messed with, bloatware drives me crazy, if its
not broke do not fix it.
Thanks

Has all the problems with Sense rom been fixed.
Is their anyway i can update the rom i have, with the Apps2ds added to it, or do it has to be embedded into the rom.?
Also when you say ext 2 3 4, do i need to format my sd card 1st. and if so how to format in the phone or by a program from the market, ie : what you suggested before.
Thanks

Just try them all. I used NextSense for a while (5.1) and for me it was very stable.
New ROMs come out every day, so just try a couple of them and see which work well for you.
At this moment I use WhiteXperience 2.0 which does not use sense, so I do not use Sense at this very moment. Btw.: WhiteXperience 2.0 is extremely fast with low batery use. For me this is more important than Sense.
With Rom Manager you can quickly create a full backup of your ROM with all the apps and data. So, create a full backup, install a new ROM, play with it for a few hours and either keep the new ROM or restore the old ROM.
This way you can quickly test a new ROM and see if it does what you need.

That is the reason I use WhiteXperience, since it is based on CyanogenMod 6.
But again it is not based on Sense, which is what you want.

I have not tried that. I have only tried ROMs that support Apps2sd.
But then again, just try it out: http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-appstosd2-qBx.aspx and let us know if this works for you.
However, since Froyo uses another way of storing apps in SD, you might end up with an unstable system.

After the partition has been created you end up with a formatted, empty SDCard. So no prior formatting is necessary.

I've tried most of them if not all and NexTSense 5.3 is by far the most stable and best Rom on here. It's almost as stock as they come with Apps2sd installed. I think the only app changed is google maps to the slightly better brut version.
Define unstable? Most roms require a clean wipe before installing.
I agree with sbdags. NextSense is absolutely stable and, if you want Sense, this Rom would be the best choice to try out.

If the rom works without int2ext4+, you may try int2ext+ (without the 4) as ext4 support may not be enabled in kernel. You will also need to reformat 2nd partition to ext2. But I'd suggest to try link2sd if possible as it has never failed me.

I use INT2EXTV2+ and I don't have any problem for now.
Same problem for me but solved
wipe the data using the superwipe marvel edition application in xda (u can find it in searching forums)
1-flash the superwipe marvel edition
2-flash the rom and REBOOT (reboot is important)
3-after boot completed again switch off and enter recovery flashcamera patch and REBOOT (reboot is important)
3-after boot completed flash int2ext or any use i recommend int2ext2 rather than 4 and REBOOT (reboot is important)
4-Flash GAPPS 4.4.2 kitkat versions and reboot.
NOTE - keep in mind REBOOT is mandatory after every flashing of each component.
I to got the same problem as urs but it solved now in the above process.

root , Injector(Init.d) and Mounts2SD - stock

hello everyone
so i just got my new HTC desire 816 dual sim ( after an old desire 816 which has factory issues ) . with the old device i installed CM11 the unofficial 4.4.4 and installed mount2sd and everything was good
now i got the new device and i'm a bit scared of installing a new rom , so i'm thinking of rooting , adding the injection support then installing mount2sd but i'm not sure about the compatibility of all this mix with the stock
so here what i'm going to do and i need your opinions
1- root the device => guide followed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775801
i don't know what the wp_mod.ko module do so any tips would be great
2- installing Injector to enable injecting the init.d support http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2256647
my device is not on the list so i'm a little bit scared :/
3- installing mount2sd https://github.com/SpazeDog/mounts2sd which i used before with CM11 and was fine
OR
A friend suggested that i install the new CM11 official and then install the mount2sd and done ??
ps* i'm using a lot of apps and i like installing everything so basically i need A LOT of storage for apps and their data and obviously the stock only gives 3GB which is nothing
ps* i kinda like the stock so anything other solutions with the stock would be perfect

The wp_mod.ko file is so that you can enable writing to the SD in the system on stock.
This is basically what allows mount2SD and link2SD to work and init.d support might be needed for both as well so pair that file with your injector and your good to go.
I personally am able to download and put any files I want to the SD thanks to the wp_mod.ko alone. Having init support will allow it to just run scripts on startup and in combination with the wp file it will allow scripts involving the SD card.

I have a feeling that you've hit on a solution to a similar issue that I'm having. At least, we seem to share the same thought process regarding the problem though I'm more on the Link2SD camp.
Make a NANDROID backup, try it, cross your fingers and give it a go. :good:

Only the apps and data that would normally move to an external card. What I can't move are the apps that Titanium Backup would force to external card. The easiest option would be to partition the external card with an ext partition and then use an app like Link2SD to mount it. To do that though, without S-OFF, requires that the OP work.
Even though I'm rooted, I don't have anywhere near enough knowledge to be able to safely*recover if anything goes wrong. ?

You can't! There is no way to S-OFF our device. You are stuck with S-ON. That's it. Unlocking the bootloader, flashing a recovery, and a custom ROM. Those all have nothing to do with S-OFF. Our phone simply doesn't have S-OFF.

Your screenshot shows you trying to install the Xposed Framework, not Mount2SD. Also, the screenshot shows (and the original topic clearly states) that if you're S-ON, you can't install Xposed Framework whilst booted. It is offering you to install through Recovery. If you click OK, the app will automatically boot into recovery and install Xposed Framework. If you had followed the guide about installing Xposed Installer, you would have seen to change the install option from Classic Write to Recovery. You would then bypass the message in your screenshot and gone straight to the install through recovery.
You must be rooted and have a working busybox and recovery installed for Xposed Framework to install/work.
Also, Xposed Framework will not make any bit of difference to Mount2SD or any apps like that. They will still not work. However, Xposed Framework does have some great modules that tweak a phone.

[ROM][Custom][Privacy Guard][Leds][UB LB][Aroma] D5503_14.4.A.0.157_latest

Hi, latest S.o.n.y 14.4.A.0.157 rom for you!
Rom is in complete - mean: rooted, have Superuser|SuperSu, su, busybox, cwm recovery, deodexed, zipaligned...etc, just install propertly and enjoy rom! Please don't install any external mod in order to report here if something isn't working (do it silent and on your own risk! It will probably broke your rom and make rom malfunction!).
Rom allso have included ntfs support (to mount your ntfs drive, run command using terminal emulator "ntfsmount mount" to mount your drive or "ntfsmount umount" to umount your drive (note about ntfs: do not use settings menu to mount/umount your ntfs drive since ntfs is not supported by any rom by default, so you can't see ntfs volume mount status inside settings menu since android not supporting ntfs, but your ntfs is fully mounted and have fully read/write support, just use any file explorer to manage your ntfs volume data!). Allso do not forget to umount your ntfs volume at finish when you finish menaging your ntfs volume data!
Rom allso contain support for usbserial and ftdi based usb card readers.
For best experience I have compiled Lionheart cpu governor, you can use them in combination with row iosched to get very smooth ui and very good baterery life for daily usage!
4k is not working and allso I not going to get them working!(I have removed 4k from camera widget). I sugest you to not use any external camera mod since our one is totaly stock based and I have not replaced anything related to stock camera, every camera part is carefully patched, so if you want any camera mod than do not go here to report something which probably will not work after your replace or you get battery drain fast after replace! Allso if you have installed something which not comming from our rom than allso please do not report anything! Everything is tested and everything working very good!
How to install:
first of all you must have your phone updated oficialy to the latest bootloader, baseband... etc (thats needed!) before you gona install our rom! You no need to be bootloader unlocked since rom is for booth locked and unlocked bootloader! So first step is: using flashtool install D5503_14.4.A.0.157_Generic_nosystem.ftf -> https://mega.co.nz/#!5EAH0R6A!z236qDTdRkk_FgyG-TiD_WjukErpVA5lijR3OiHa3M0

Nice!!
I've been using your v108 for 2 months now and its stable.
I'm looking forward for this!!
Thanks in advance!!
Edit: Wait, I just wanna ask this but, since I will be coming from your 108 version... Do I just flash this after wiping cache and dalvik? or do I do a full wipe?
My guess is you should also wipe system, but can leave data unwiped. Also when you are flashing the original ROM with flashtool , you can leave out wiping data.
Best regards, maris
Download links is ready, happy gaming!
Just to let you know, all old data will be removed trought aroma so please do not perform backups restores from old roms since our new rom require clean installation! Old data removal will not wipe your internal sdcard or external sdcard, it will wipe only old rom data! I have included installation choice for superuser or supersu, choice for ad blocking, debloating...etc so carefully select installation things for your needs! Enjoy new rom!
recovery included
Hi munjeni,
thanks for keeping our device up to date.
Just to be sure: The D5503_14.4.A.0.157_Generic_nosystem.ftf contains a recovery, yes? After flashing this, I can enter that recovery and flash the big zip.
Or do I need to mess around with some other recovery install first?

No, it will not remove your recovery! But if you comming from 14.2.A.XXXX it will broke recovery since partition layout is diferent than kitkat so it will broke your system partition! If you comming from 4.4.4 its safe than! If you are afraid you can update oficialy to the latest oficial firmware, than reflash only boot but use boot from 14.4.A.0.108, than use newroot tool for rooting/cwm, than reboot to recovery and flash new rom.

Probably restoring data will not break anything except your right to report issues. I fully understand why @munjeni wants full reinstallation of the apps because some apps cause issues as well as restore. Especially restoring between stock and cm/aosp.
Exactly!

Text Tutorial
So here is the text tutorial of how to DUAL BOOT your Redmi 1S. :highfive:
PRE-REQUISITE
Here you need the files we need for this process and the links to these files are mentioned below
Backup of your ROM which you are using right now if you want it to use it after the dual boot process (Here MIUI 7 is backed up).
your Redmi 1S should be charged with at least 80% battery (NOT necessary but suggested).
Rooted Redmi 1S with TWRP installed.
The ROMs you want to dual boot and everything for that ROM.
Procedure:
Backup your present rom. (For eg. MIUI 7 ) using TWRP.
Now after backup in TWRP go to home ---> Click on Install ---> Navigate yourself where you have kept the downloaded files ---> Find HM1s-Sysrec.zip and flash it.
This will now delete your Internal memory and factory reset your present ROM. (So backup it before hand)
After flash phone will reboot into recovery mode. Now copy System-Menu-Data-HM1SWC in your Ext. as well as Internal storage. For this connect your device to your PC in recovery mode. Your device will get connected as MTP device. Now copy this file in both Internal as well as External storage.
Now Flash
Sysrem-Menu1.4.1-test.zip . Aroma installer will open. Then Click on English ---> Accept the terms ---> Enter The function ---> Install and Uninstall ---> Install dual system.
Now restore the ROM you backedup earlier.
After this Go to home ---> Again Flash this file ---> Again do all that ---> This time click on Install SystemChanger app ---> System1 ---> Check first option only if you are on MIUI ---> Next
After this flash UPDATE SUPERSU V2.46.zip
Now reboot to system.
When rebooted to system go to SuperSU and go to settings and click on enable SuperSU and after the process again click on it till it installs the SUPERSU again.
Press Home button.
Find the SystemChanger app. Open it ---> Click on Switching.
After a while phone will show Mi logo. Press Vol up+Power button. Phone will enter in recovery mode.
Flash the ROM you wanted in SYSTEM2.
After process Again flash Sysrem-Menu1.4.1-test.zip --->Do all that ---> Click on Install SystemChanger app ---> System2---> Check first option if it is MIUI else continue.
Root the ROM any how. (If you want to know how to root a specific ROM reply below)
Click on Reboot to System
The System will boot into System2.
Set it up.
After setting you will find SystemChanger app here too. Open it click on switching to boot into system1.
After the phone boots System 1 then congratulations.

It actually divides your NAND partition into two and you can dual boot cm12.1 with any ROM.

MIUI works perfectly on system partition 1. Try installing it on Sys partition 1 and other rom on System Partition 2
"7. After this Go to home ---> Again Flash this file ---> Again do all that ---> This time click on Install SystemChanger app ---> System1 ---> Check first option only if you are on MIUI ---> Next"
tried many times but no luck, till i leave them uncheck and it works, yes it for miui v7 on 1st system partition
and it didnt devide the nand entirely, they still share the same /data partition including internal sdcard. so if 1 rom do factory reset or restoring /data the other rom will have /data partition erased, is there any solution?

ehm so it rather complicated, let say i already have 2 rom installed and i want to replace 2nd rom with new 1, so i will need these steps:
1. make sure i have full backup system1
2. change to 2nd rom through the system changer app or the system changer installer
3. full wipe 2nd rom
4. go back to 1st system partition through system changer installer
5. restore /data
6. go back to 2nd system partition through system changer installer
7. install new rom
8. install system changer app
am i correct?

Or you can do a thing
Boot into 2nd system using system changer app
Boot into recovery
Wipe and just install the ROM
Install system changer app
I hope that will work!

Bro you cant just criticize like that! You may encounter some problems but that doesnot mean its because of this methord. Im personally using it for over 1 month and too use snapchat, instagram, facebook, whatsapp on both roms (Not whatsapp as it can be installed on a single ROM only) but I didnt encountered any issue!
Please be sure what you are posting. You told a guy above also that the method is risky. He/She may now wint install. Please bro please.
