How do you know your device is HTC__304 when you don't know all the basic thing about your device ?

If you are trying to run a Lollipop Sense ROM, the 4.16 RUU will update you to the right firmware.
You will need to relock your bootloader to run RUU (since you are s-off) with command: fastboot oem lock
Been an eternity since I used HTC devices in this way.
I have a demo HTC One M8, and have S-Off and changed the CID from HTC__002 ot HTC__001 in order to stop the demo content from installing itself. I then installed the latest Lollipop RUU.
As I have changed the CID, will this device now receive OTA updates as a standard device would? The RUU I flashed is the one the HTC__001 models would have received.

That update was an ota incremental. Basically a security patch. The only ruu you'll find is 3.35.401.12. you must then take the ota to 3.35.401.32.
