FAQ
What's special about RadonX?
RadonX is based on AOSParadox, the only full CAF ROM for the OnePlus One. This keeps the ROM lightweight and very minimal. Features and tweaks are added to improve the users experience, not to be highly versatile, bloated, or brag about how many features are added.
What's in RadonX that I wont find elsewhere?
Since this answer doesn't need to be wordy, I'll make a list:
Eargasm Music App
Snap Camera
SaberFox Web Browser
Full Custom Clang 3.5.2 Toolchain
Polly integration on both a host and target level
ART Optimizing compiler
What is SaberFox?
SaberFox is a web browser based on Firefox. It has a dark UI by default, is heavily optimized with standard SaberMod changes, and uses the latest features and improvements that not even Firefox beta has!
What is Polly?
Polly is the LLVM implementation of the polyhedral loop optimization model, similar to GCC's graphite. The only other ROM to ever add it successfully was CodeFireX, a well regarded ROM on KitKat. No other lollipop ROM has a full, true implementation of Polly in Android.
What are SaberMod Optimizations?
The SaberMod project uses its own vendor repo that adds in many optimizing flags to improve the performance of your Android device! Having worked on it myself, I can tell you personally that we take time to research the flags we add!
Some major optimizations are:
-O3
Graphite
OpenMP
CPU Tunings
Vectorization
ARM mode
IPA optimizations
Memory Sanitization
Still confused? Learn more about flags here -> [INFO] What are flags and optimizations?
Does Snapdragon Audio+ only work with Eargasm?
Nope! Snapdragon Audio+ can be used with any app that supports equalizers, such as Apollo, Google Play Music, Encore, Pandora, and Spotify.
Will you add X feature from Y ROM?
If you post the name of the feature, the ROM it originated from, and how it works, it will be reviewed. Not all features will be added
I FAUND AN BUG
STOP YELLING ANd post a report, steps to replicate, a log, and whether you have Xposed installed or not. All bug reports with Xposed will be ignored.
Why is the ROM bootlooping?
Incompatible data is usually the culprit for bootloops. The easy solution is to wipe data, but if you want to keep your apps, use a backup utility like Titanium.
Can I join the RadonX Project?
RadonX is always looking for new developers. PM me with your Github Account, G+ link, and past experience and we can discuss it!

Thank you, best rom ever

I had a couple freezes under heavy load that I believe were (at least partially) caused by your build.prop... I've made an edited version for you, it has helped remove the lag/freezes I was experiencing.. This removes a few problem lines, updates a couple values and removes all the duplicated properties as well.. No new properties were added, keeping it as it was intended..
NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP FILE (extract and push to system with correct permissions)

Very promising rom is it F2fs friendly?? Thanks in advance.

I havent tried, but the kernel contains all the drivers to use F2FS! You may have to modify the zip

Can we flash AK over it?
Flashing AK on stock AOSParadox broke the WiFi.

Try and add dt2w feature and swipe music feature please? I think Aosparadox have integrated that on their repo! Not sure though!
Also if I want to try Xposed, which one should I go ahead with. Gonna give it a shot now!
Also I know you have included a sound mod but any possibility of integrating Viper4Android from the custom SlimSaber thread?

To my knowledge, all gestures are still broken. As stated in the FAQ Post, users with xposed will not receive support in solving problems and will be laughed at when reporting bugs. Use xposed at your own risk.

Hi nexus 10 owners, welcome to SaberMod!
Sparksco built this ROM from AOSP source and added 40+ Linaro patches to the source for strict-aliasing compiler optimizations. Roms include Linaro string handling routines for memory optimizations. No android kitchens were used to make this rom at all, everything is source build
All ROMs and kernels are built with SaberMod toolchains. The ROMs are built with GCC 4.9 toolchains.
Instructions:
First time flashing this ROM on your Nexus 4, or coming from another ROM?
Root the device and install ClockworkMod or TWRP Recovery.
Place all zips on internal storage
Boot into recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Perform a data factory reset/wipe (Do not format data in twrp recovery!)
Flash ROM.
Flash Gapps package (optional)
Flashing a newer version?
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Wipe cache and dalvik-cache in recovery
Flash ROM
Flash Gapps package (optional)
A few notes on battery/charging
After flashing ROM and/or kernel you may get some battery drain. Give the device time to settle into the ROM/kernel, and after a full charge or two you should notice improved battery life.

FAQ
SaberMod is a AOSP based ROM with some extra features added in and mostly from CyanogenMod. SaberMod started out pure AOSP when android 4.2.1 launched. Originally it was pure AOSP with a few extra features I ported over from CyanogeMod and linaro optimizations. Then I rebased everything off of rasbeanjelly because I liked many features found in rasbean. Since then I've modified a lot of the code so not much of it is rasbeanjelly based anymore. But you will still find some commonly used features found in rasbeanjelly. SaberMod is not a rasbeanjelly or CM clone, or KANG. Custom kernels are included for certain devices when available. These are personal builds we make for ourselves and originally became very popular in the nexus 7 forums. Features are very rarely added, and are built to SaberMod's team members liking. Currently there are two members of SaberMod working on this project. @sparksco and @jarjar124 . Please understand our time is limited and we are only two people who have lives, and do not have 25-50 members like CyanogenMod to add things. And our goal is not to add a bunch of features that bloat the system of the ROM.
Q "Does this ROM have such and such feature?
A "Did you read the first post? Most if not all features are listed in the OP. If you find a feature not listed, tell us and we will add it. Yes, sometimes we miss things."
Q "Very nice ROM, but... Can you add such and such feature?"
A "Depends on a few things, if we think it is a feature we want in the ROM and how easy it is to implement into SaberMod. If you get ignored it's because we're undecided, nothing personal."
Q "I keep asking over and over again if such and such feature can be added but my questions keep getting ignored, why?"
A "Probably because your asking a question that's already been answered, and a simple thread search can answer for you. Either that or we are undecided about it."
Q "I reported a bug but my post gets ignored, why?"
A "Either it's not a bug or you provided no information such as a logcat that has the correct information in it needed to find a possible fix or solution."
Q "I have some problems but I'm using another kernel. Can you fix?"
A "If you think it's a ROM issue state so. If your not sure post a logcat. Don't post last_kmsg for other kernels, cause we can't help"
Q "I think I'm having a problem with the kernel, and I need a fix ASAP!"
A "adb pull /proc/last_kmsg or it never happened and your post will be ignored."
Q "Can I build SaberMod from source code on Linux?"
A "Yes, it is encouraged, machine setup instructions are as follows. SaberMod builds with the latest version of Ubuntu 13.04 and java 7 or java 6 (either one)
Set up your build envirnoment: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35338419&postcount=1
Skip the part that installs java 6 if you want to install java 7 instead.
If you want to install java 7 go here: http://openjdk.java.net/install/
Code:
sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre openjdk-7-jdk
Downloading the source
Code:
mkdir -p ~/android/SaberMod && cd ~/android/SaberMod;
repo init -u https://github.com/SaberMod/android.git -b sm-jb-mr1
repo sync
bash sm-manta
Follow the script instructions for building and make your selections on how you want to build your ROM.
Q "What if I have trouble building or I'm confused on the instructions, can I post questions in this thread for help?"
A "Yes it's encouraged and discussing it might help others."
Q "There's some things in the ROMs that are not in my language, can you please translate?"
A "We can not translate currently, but if you want to help translate parts of the ROM that are only in English contact us and we will try."[/QUOTE]

Ditto. :good:
The only reason I can't use it as a daily driver is because Adobe Flash Player fails to load flash content on Hulu Free from the website. Its not the only ROM that I have that problem; EOS, another ROM I love has the same problem. Hulu flash content works on rasbean, carbon, sentinel and others though.
But all in all, very solid ROM here.

This ROM is based on CM 11.0 and made from MoKee Open Source
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP and CyanogeMod project. The source code is updated frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features at the same time.
The Mfunz Forums launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better.
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development. Newcomers are always welcomed!
Official website: http://www.mfunz.com
Types of Releases:
MoKee OpenSource has 4 kinds of releases: official release, beta, nightlies, and unofficial builds.
Official release: This version is tested throughly by developers and users, so it is the most stable build
Beta: When a device is newly added, there will be beta versions for testing, but there might be unknown bugs and problems
Nightlies: Nightlies are compiled automatically by servers, so it will have the latest features but beware of uncompleted works
Unofficial builds: These builds are compiled from source or ported by non MoKee developers
Official Releases:
MoKee Open Source supports many devices, but the developers may not have all devices in hand, so if there are device maintainers that can help out, the official releases will be decided by them, MoKee Open Source will only maintain the nightlies to ensure the usability of the ROM. However, for devices with no device maintainers, MoKee Open Source will decide when to release official builds or nightlies. Therefore, if you have a device maintainer, please get the official releases from your respective device maintainer's thread or nightlies from MoKee Open Source.

[ROM] SlimSaberKat-jflte-4.4.4-20141014 [unofficial SlimKat builds] for jflte

SlimSaberKat
Unofficial SlimKat build - Alucard kernel
Rom built with SaberMod 4.8.4 toolchain
Kernel built with SaberMod 4.9.2 toolchain
Fast, smooth and stable
I proudly present SlimSaberKat.
SlimSaberKat is built from SlimKat source with SaberMod 4.8.4 compiler and "JustArchi's ArchiDroid Optimizations" V3 build optimisations like O3, strict aliasing and many more to make the ROM even faster and smoother. If you want to see all optimization flags set for building this ROM, have a look a look at this commit, line 73-83.
I could cherry-pick some commits ahead from SlimRom team or patches from other repositories if I find them useful.
If you want to know more about build optimization and the build flags used to build SlimSaberKat I can advise you to read this post by @JustArchi.
SlimSaberKat ROM comes with Alucard's great AOSP kernel.
I will follow the weekly and stable builds of the official ROM and if there are interesting commits I will try to make a midweekly build.
Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for any damages on your device.
Please don't discuss these "unofficial" builds in the official SlimKat thread.

Changes in most recent version
Most recent version:

Kernel: stock
F.A.Q
No root
Q: I did a clean flash and don't have root access.
A: Rood access is disabled by default on SlimKat. you need to enable it in "Developer options" set root access for Apps and ADB.
New gapps
Q: There is a new gapps version, how do I flash it.
A: Minor gapps updates can be flashed on top off the old version. For major updates it's often recommended by the Slim team to wipe the systems partition and flash ROM and gapps. Alternatively you can deleted system/addon.d/80-gapps.sh or 81-aio_gapps.sh and flash ROM and gapps. This prevents the old gapps to be restored during ROM flash but will allow you to keep all other custom scripts in the addon.folder.
Removed system files
Q: I have removed a couple of system apps, do I need to do that again after every dirty ROM flash.
A: A dirty ROM flash will restore all the ROM's system apps. You can however use a script to remove whatever you want from the ROM when you dirty flash a ROM. See this and this post on how to do that and many other cool things you can do with those scripts.
DPI settings
Q: How can i change the DPI and what's the original S4 stock DPI.
A: DPI Settings are not included in the ROM yet, until then you can use Texdroider DPI. Default Stock DPI is 480.
New kernel flash
Q:I flashed a new Alucard kernel (or SlimSaberKat with new kernel included) and now not everything is working as expected.
A:This can happen when the kernel settings options are changed (in Ramdisk), to correct this delete the "data/.alucard" folder and reboot. That will reset your kernel setting.
Dalvik to ART
Q: How do I switch from Dalvik to ART, how do I do it.
A: As with every major change, start by making a backup, the follow this tutorial by @Jimsilver73
SlimKat stock kernel
Q: Where can I download the SlimKat stock kernel
A: It can be found here, thanks to @hawkerpaul
Tips and tricks
If you want to make Slim even Slimmer @s3icc0 made an overview of apps that are safe to remove
To make you're phone feel even faster consider lowering "Windows animation scale", "Transmission animation scale" and "Animation duration scale" in Developer options. Also if you are using Nova Launcher you might want to increase the Scroll and Animation speed.

I switched straight away (before first boot) back to KT kernel, it's MUCH better than alucard kernel. Other than that the rom seems good so far. (Not as fast as Archi made out in his thread, or even as fast as regular sabermod, but still quite good) thanks for other new rom for our s4 I will continue to to test and give feedback.
Edit: my hangouts notifications don't come thru with the screen off they only show up with screen on

The AOSParadox Project 2.1
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is a vanilla ROM. Our goal is to pick the least amount of commits possible on AOSP code. While trying to add features, when CodeAurora provide us with chipset's specific sources ?
At the opposite of most of ROMs that you can find, the trees are made by ourselves to be integrated in this new ROM type.
What should I be aware of ?
Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so custom kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...).
Extra features
Code:
- Snapdragon camera
- Compatible with layer themes
What doesn't work ?
Code:
- Tell us
Downloads :
http://download.aosparadox.org/AOSParadox/bacon/
How to install ?
1) Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
2) Reboot in Bootloader Mode
3) Go to "Recovery"
4) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5) Wipe Dalvik cache
6) Install the ROM zip
7) Install the Gapps
8) Install SuperSU zip
9) To disable software keys you can flash the ZIP made by @TanayPoddar56 (Post #2345)
10) Reboot

[B]1.1 [U]Enabling softkeys:[/U] [/B]
1. Make sure you have got / & /system mounted as rw.
2. Go to device/system/build.prop.
3. Scroll down to the extreme bottom.
4. Add this line there :
[I]qemu.hw.mainkeys=0[/I]
5. Save the file and reboot. (To be sure that it has got enabled and we're gonna disable the hard-keys in the next step.)
[B]1.2 [U]Disabling the Hardware keys:[/U] [/B]
1. Go to Device/system/usr/keylayout/generic.kl.
2. Scroll down and find the following keys and add # before each of them.
It should then look like this:
# key 139 MENU
# key 158 BACK
# key 172 HOME
3. Save and Reboot.
[B]Alternatively[/B] you can go set the long press and short press of the hard keys to "No action" from settings , in newer builds. (But [B]back button would still work though[/B])
[B]1.3 [U]Disabling the backlight of the HW keys:[/U] (Permanent as long as a systemless SuperSU is available.)[/B]
1. Download this :- [url]https://www.dropbox.com/s/lbx8fogscy8v0xc/DisableSoftkeysBacklight?dl=0[/url]
2. Have [B]a systemless version of [user=631273]@Chainfire[/user] 's SuperSU flashed [/B] (very important)
3. Go to /su/su.d
4. Paste the "DisableSoftkeysBacklight" you downloaded inside su.d
5. Change permissions of the file (Give Owner read, write and execute permissions.)
6. Now reboot.

I found it odd that CAF task manager and CAF appops weren't there. Is this strictly CAF when it comes to just the kernel?

Yep. Pretty much as CAF as Sultan's kernel is. And nope. No app opps or task manager here. We've kinda stuck to as less bloat as we can manage.
ROM working fine on Multirom (secondary). Its always good to see a new ROM surface
@Quasar then would you mind removing all of those really outdated AOSP apps that are really useless? xD
Also I don't know about you.. but I'd think that CAF App ops is extremely useful.

Don't really need those anymore since Google fixed the systemupdateservice wakelock. I haven't been on this for a full cycle yet, but on falcon, the SOT almost doubled with this ROM, so I don't think you'd need anything.

Thanks a lot for this great ROM.
@Quasar
Will you add the backup functionalities on addon.d in the future? Or it will stay as it is?
This is exactly what we need! Looking forward to this ROM and if you don't mind ,just a suggestion.. Please don't add any "extra" features such as app side bar app circle bar, floating window etc.
Battery life is too good on this ...
Network traffic and this will be the dream!

If there are outdated... Why wouldn't we update it simply?
The ROM (on all the concerned devices) is quiet young. Once we added a few features (clean all task) and fixed all the bugs. We will start working apps by ourselves.

It will stay as it is to match CAF as much as we can.
Status bar says 3g even though it says lte in quick settings and no lights on capacitive keys. An option for softkeys would be awesome if possible. I also tried to flash open gapps stock package and I got an error that there wasn't enough room on system. I guess it's an error in the updater script. Works fine in CM. Thanks for the ROM I've been waiting for something like this for a while.
There are three major bugs listed and you are calling it stable?

From official Paranoid Android team :
"We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Pocket lock

Few changes to ramdisk, from LineageOS sources
Changes to init
SnapdragonCamera is now branded ParanoidCamera. Nothing changes inside the ROM but now you know PA team has their own app instead of CAF one.

Brightness steps from LineageOS
Flash kernel updated to the latest sources, 4.4.87
Provided a fix to let the user install the OOS Camera mod. I wont support it, dont report issues if you're using whatever mod like that.
2017-09-02
Updated to 4.5.10 blobs and sources. Flash 4.5.10 firmware and then flash PA build, as PA will refuse to flash if you don't use a 4.5.10+ firmware.

My kernel sauce (OP5)
Mention (@) dekefake if you need some assistance and/or when reporting bugs. I dont think the PA team will be open to bug reports with this build, they might already work on a build for the OP5, but i'm not sure they will release anything anytime soon.
Cheers and #StayParanoid!

Precision about this build : its UNOFFICIAL .
I asked permission on Twitter, to arter97, thecrazylex and xboxfanj to make an unofficial thread on XDA, which has been ignored by the ones being active on Twitter (I know 2 of the 3 arnt active, but one of these guys is, and purely ignored me)
Thats why this thread is here, and I plan to update it
Édit : @TheCrazyLex answered to me, approved the creating of a XDA thread
EDIT 2 : One of PA members confirmed lack.of support for OP5 with PA Nougat, as support will begin with O. If you want pa_cheeseburger based on Nougat, install my builds ?
I won't ever include any mods to the ROM, like add blockers, Xposed, OOS Camera app, or whatever else. This ROM is and will stay the simplest possible, a simple Paranoid Android build for the OnePlus 5.
My phone starts to lag, why?
If you encounter slowdowns after weeks of using, please run these commands on a terminal app on your phone (assuming you're using Magisk)
su
/data/magisk/busybox fstrim -v /data
Phone should be as fast as the day you just clean flashed
if this command doesnt works, reboot into TWRP and run :
fstrim -v /data
If you guys want to build your own pa_cheeseburger builds, take a look to my instructions
Nice! Welcome and tks!

The camera with PA is pretty much identical to OOS for picture quality and for low light shots its better however 4k EIS is not as good as OOS.
Thanks and Welcome!
Can you create a Telegram Group for bug reports / beta test / discussion etc.?
