Completely Locked down or what??? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

Is there a working recovery or roms for this phone yet? Can any of the S6 or Edge roms work on the Edge Plus? Trying to get advice for a new phone on Sprint and can not stay factory on a phone with such great specs. Should I just go for the HTC One M9? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

No roms for now and u can only flash s6+ roms on it but HTC is not where u want to go

No recovery or rom, but root has been confirmed to work on both the original and the newest firmware. It'll break Samsung Pay and trip Knox.

Running Android 4.3 on Galaxy S4

Hands on with Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S4,
Watch it here: http://bit.ly/156yuni
You can also get this too if you have a Custom recover and are rooted!
Flashed Stock Google Edition Rom first, Then Flashed the Leaked Android 4.3 Rom over it.
Original Leaked Rom comes from Sam Mobile : http://bit.ly/Android43

No, but it'll break root (the boot.img file isn't rooted yet).

Yes I forgot to mention that. But this means you don't need root to flash this?

In theory, you can flash a custom recovery via Odin and you're good.
Sent from Spaceball One.
So to answer the question yes you can flash this with out root, just flash a custom recovery though odin then factory reset and flash the stock rom. As always read up on how to do this, make a back up and have fun flashing. Right?

I mean you could just redownload all the apps you had , just go to downloaded app on the play store and they show up there, some of them not all of them though.

I heard this as well and read it elsewhere, so WatchON works.
What I'm curious then is it also possible for the AllShare Cast dongle to work w/ this if it does in fact have parts of the TW framework.
That would be a huge win over for me to move over from the TouchWiz ROM's

Go into the "PlayStore" App, hit the options button and go to "My Apps" There they list "Installed" and "All".
Now when I flashed Android 4.3 I went into the Playstore and went To my Apps and then All, there it listed some of the apps I had when i was Running Touchwiz. Ex: Watch-On, Group Play, Samsung Link, and some of the T-Mobile Apps.
Watch on Works. I didn't test any of the other apps because I don't use them.

Note 10.1 v2 and knox

I'm looking to buy a 2014 10.1 and something caught my attention and was curious about it. I have a s4 running 4.3 android and thanks to Knox I cant put a custom recovery on it and have to use safestrap to use a custom rom essential wasting much space. Is that a issue with the tablet as well. Or is twrp/clockwork able to be used?

Of course you can flash a custom recovery and custom roms, but it cant be done without triggering knox. Flashing the rom itself is harmless, its the flashing of a custom recovery that triggers knox. So if you can live with that just go a head and flash, if not.... then dont.
Good luck
Ok thanks for the clarification the knox part is still kind of new to me. Tw is a little heavy just wanted to make sure I had the option to run an aosp rom down the line.

What to flash on T-mobile s6 edge

Hi Everyone,
I am just a little curious coming from note 3 and Oneplus One, I have been rooting and flashing roms. I have the T-mobile galaxy s6 and there are not much developers out there or any in-progress rom. I 've seen that some people had good luck flashing one or two international roms on the device. I see that we have TWRP and I have it on my phone. What is there out there to flash?
Is it okay to flash International roms and then flash a Kernel?
I am just a little curious because I am stuck with rooted stock and there isn't much that I can do.
Thanks,
Mostly all of the international roms come with unibase kernel which works on all variants so just flash the rom and you're good to go. Make sure you are on the 5.1.1 update first though.

Well their is a rom made specifically for the Tmobile edge now called Atrium. I'm going to stick to that rom so I can retain all Tmobile features.
