Broken is a fantastic rom , thanks for the build man :thumbs-up:

When I install it in recovery, the ROM is fine but of fails on every version of gapps I try saying not enough space in the system folder, which is bs because 1. I formatted it and 2. I've never seen that message and I'm a flashing junkie. Any ideas?

I am trying it as we speak. Thanks!!
That also reminds me....I'm using CWM recovery and I really miss TWRP. I was told that CWM has a much higher success rate and have been hesitant to go back. What's your $.05?

Everything seems to be working so far, just installed. Only major issue is Google Play Services keeps crashing

No gapps issues here, but my data won't connect. I'm able to use WiFi fine at home, just not Mobile data.

Could be the issue with APN settings that plagued the Toro Galaxy Nexus when we 1st started getting Lollipop. It caused Data not to function. @musical_chairs just recently had this issue with his latest build. Try flashing the APN fix linked in the post I provided.

That's also something new, I have seen my wifi go to Authenticating then just say saved and not connect. I either long press on it and choose connect or turn my wifi off then back on and it connects.
I don't have data on my phone so I rely heavily on wifi. Seems it has only happened when I'm originally connecting to my home wifi, reconnects without issue when I get home from work everyday. At work, it connected without issue and has each time since automatically. Seemed, from my experience, to only have an issue connect the first time to the first network.
Has anyone else been having a lack of wifi?
You can try another kernel if you'd like, can't say if they'd work or not as I've never tried one. Thus I'm not sure which to suggest.
Tried smoocha and att kernel from this group wouldn't boot afterwards.had to reflash the ROM.
Was able to get WiFi working By flashing latest modem file.

It does not currently support Spanish. It only supports Chinese and English at this time. Sorry!
Nice, someone finally mirrored as the Chinese servers are to slow lol, but some corrections though the ROM does has LTE
Go to general settings > additional > service menu > switch the CDMA to USIM phone should force reboot > following this go back to the service menu and change the Network Mode to Global + LTE That's it.
Also there is another version that puts out updates every Friday here Download Link: http://www.miui.com/download-262.html
Original Source: http://bbs.sonyue.com/thread-96332-1-1.html if anyone can also mirror that one I'd appreciate it as I've had no luck getting it to download lol.

I believe in order to change it to LTE, we would need the Modem to be working. Because the current one tends to freeze MIUI when changing to LTE.
But after some research it looks like you have to flash both the modem and madmacks kernel for it to work. I haven't tested it myself though but I've seen some reports of people doing that back in the General thread. And I'll try and mirror that weekly one and just label this one 'stable' for more options.
Weekly is now up. I've tested it and there should be an update this friday as well via OTA. I'll keep the OP updated a week behind so users can just use the OTA to get to the latest.
This MIUI is pure Daily Driver material. Battery life is great, good performance/features, and GPS location lock is practically stock speed (like ~5 seconds on 3G). They really worked hard on this one :good::good:
Going to test the deep sleep tonight and report back tomorrow.
Update: After flashing the modem, I got a 5% battery drain after 9 hours with Wi-Fi on. So no different from any CM ROM you'll see around here.
Wow, this is one slick getup. The way they've seperated and designed the notication area really pleases me. I'm surprised that design hasn't been ganked by other roms. Mating this with a Cyanogenmod would result in some wicked magic, for sure. CM's awful notication area always maddens me.
This makes me so hype! I'm one of those (seemingly) rare people that really likes miui and have been hoping something with any kind of support would come to the G Pro. Can't wait to flash this tomorrow. Thanks for bringing us this rom.

And CDMA settings will FC regardless, it's one of the reasons LTE doesn't work at the moment.
Try going to Settings > Mobile networks > Network carriers and try setting that manually along with the APN.

I'm back on CM11 but when I was using the MIUI 4.10.27 build I had LTE working, you don't need to flash a modem or anything just install normally in aroma and when you get in to the Service Menu select Mobile Networks then click the option Global+LTE and and hit the back button and the icon should change to 4G. Just ignore the changing the CDMA Subscription to USIM step as it doesn't seem to work or effect the E980 so leave it at NV.

Hello everyone,
With all the sweet, sexy Lollipop ROMs that have been posted lately, the one thing I noticed missing is PA.
So I built a buildbox and thought I'd do something about that.
I present to you: Paranoid Android AOSPA-Legacy (AOSPAL) 5.0 ALPHA 2 built from source for the d851.
I'll warn you: it looks pretty much like every other Lollipop ROM out there -- if you're expecting full-blown PA right now, but down the crack pipe and come back in a few months. My intent is to have a build of PA that gets in on the ground level and keeps up -- I know this project is going to be amazing once it gets going, and I want the d851 to be right on the bleeding edge (for once).
I'm very new to the git/gerrit thing, but I can repo sync like a bad mothereffer -- when significant updates are committed, I'll post a new build.
One thing I should note: look at my post count, and look at the questions I've asked. You'll notice I've been here for years and am a veteran of both Windows Mobile (from back when it was called "Pocket PC") and Android. I haven't asked a whole lot of questions because I know how to use Google and the search box. If you're downloading this ROM I'm going to assume you have an IQ in the triple digits and know how to use Google and the search box. If you post a question here that's already been answered somewhere else, it will be met with a cold, stony silence from me as I stare blankly at my laptop display and weep for the laziness of humanity. This is trial and error, folks -- and plan on there being a lot of both.
I built, downloaded to my phone, flashed it, and booted it up and it's what I'm running now. If you can't get it to boot up on your phone...well, either restore from backup or download again and re-flash, because there's nothing wrong with the ROM. Before I post any updates, I'll do the same thing.
So...if you're up to the challenge (or just want to see PA-Legacy 5.0): Welcome to the grand experiment.
#stayparanoid
Instructions:
1.Boot into recovery
2. Perform a full nandroid backup
3. Do a full wipe

What's changed in this build?
Woohoo! We're now at ALPHA2 release!
Note (that means PAY ATTENTION!) -- as per this update, until further notice, when dirty flashing this ROM you MUST re-flash your GAPPS package:This comes straight from the PA main dev team. Ignore this warning at your peril!

Got a screen I have never seen before. Kernel Crash -Black Screen
said to press 1 to go to DL mode or press 2 to reboot.
I rebooted and TWRP'd back to PAC 5.0
I installed and it ran beautifully. Camera worked too. No sdcard support though.
Edit. Sdcard works fine after a format

Nothing to worry about, it's just a bug that can happen with any aosp ROMs at the moment. Just reboot and take note if it happens again. I don't think the cause has been pinpointed yet.

No SD card support us the deal breaker. Every 5.0 ROM has something the other doesn't lol. Its always something lol.
I don't know what this nonsense about unsupported sdCard is all about. Mine is working fine with this ROM.

OP, can you share your local_manifests xml file? I built this ROM a week ago and it was pretty plain, so I didn't bother sharing it. I didn't test video though, so if it is working I'd like to see what the difference is between this and CM. :good:
Great ROM. Unfortunately, it looks like LTE isn't working. I'm stuck on H and when I go to preferred networks and switch to LTE, I lose data.

It wouldn't register that my 128gb sdcard was inserted and it didn't give any kind of error or message, pressing "mount sdcard" had no results. I assumed it lacked support, I'm glad to see it works for you. I'll try downloading it again.

If your card isn't formatted to FAT32, then it won't register on any of the Android L ROMs out there (so far).

[ROM][All Quarks][7.1.x][LOS 14.1 Unofficial][2018-06-12]

Latest update: 2018-06-12 To view a changelog, you can visit https://review.lineageos.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-14.1 for a rough idea up to the build date.
Hi all. I was able to compile this stock build of LOS 14.1 thanks to the efforts/hard works of Skrilax_CZ, bhb27, the folks who created RR, and those over at Lineage OS/CyanogenMod. It takes some minor features from RR (i.e. notification light, some tiny performance/battery tweaks, and the ability to install Motorola apps). It is otherwise stock LOS 14.1 and I use this daily. The other authors/devs and I assume no responsibility if you damage your device somehow.
Please don't feel pressured to update any more often than you wish .
Notes:
In order to make my calling work for Verizon, I had to go under Settings -> More -> Cellular networks -> Preferred network type, and select LTE/CDMA (not LTE/GSM/UMTS). I assume GSM users should be fine with the defaults.
Also if on Verizon, you should most likely select VZWINTERNET as your APN under Settings -> More -> Cellular networks -> Access Point Names (might not show up at first, but eventually loads)
My recommendations to install:
Install TWRP if you haven't already
3.1.1 - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=39562 (forum:http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-touch-recovery-t3180308)
Perform a backup of your current system/ROM (if coming from another ROM).
Perform a factory reset/wipe (if coming from another ROM).
Install the .zip
Install the appropriate google apps.
http://opengapps.org/. I would think nano or micro is best, ARM, and 7.1
Wipe dalvik/art cache if you install another kernel. I highly recommend BHB27 kernel

Reboot and enjoy

Thanks. No I didn't change anything about the kernel. There isn't a good alternative (that I know of yet) so I just used it straight from bhb for now.
How do I disable the capacitive buttons and use on screen nav bar instead?

My device is showing no root on this ROM and if I install super su it gains root but shows no sim card available. Fixed by enabling root permission in development settings.
The rom is almost 100%, the battery is well lasting me .... 1 screen time every 10% quietly, the only problem I really noticed was sending images on whatsapp that is not 100%, you send catch screen and photos taken by whatsapp ... now send images from the gallery do not know why, it just outside joys and once again thank you for your development. @calsurferpunk

I'm not sure what could be going on. I haven't flashed su and just use the stock CM root manager. Enabling root for apps only in developer options makes everything work for me when an app requests it. I did notice that I had to make sure that iSu was setting the policy as permissive (causes FC when set as enforcing).
If not bother you wanted to report a small simple mistake that can not encomodar only to warn even ... In Menu> Settings> Developer Options> animator duration scale, the second option is 0.5x and there is 5x....When I click on the Home screen and select background he simply FC, that's Gallery problem equal to whatsapp that has pictures not ...
The maintainer of CrDroid said I do not know how to use the Android and it really is a problem of rom and he would not listen to me and said she did not like my attitude. @calsurferpunk

So if I flash ROM and iSu says no root, then I just have to enable root in developer options without flashing SuperSU? I actually tried developer option after flashing SuperSU. Maybe that's why it didn't work. Let me know if I am right then I'll try the correct procedure.

That's all that I did and I haven't had any issue yet. I didn't have to change anything with iSu either (even if I did mess with it later just to see what it does).
Just as a quick update, next time I post an updated build I believe I know how to skip including iSu and kernel auditor by default. I'll make sure to include a way to download them and include them separately if this is successful. The goal of this is to keep it as close to stock CM 14.1 and still be functional so that anything you want to add can be done by your own free will .

Hey @calsurferpunk, very good job. But I have to tell u about a bug I notice. When you'll transfer a music from pc to the phone, the music player says "That's impossible to play (Name of the Music)" and in the Google Play Music the music it's with 0 seconds. The music only goes if you put in recovery mode and transfer the mp3 archive while you're at TWRP.

It might be a bug with Play Music. I have transferred music normally and Poweramp plays it without any problems.

these are the steps I followed:
TWRP Mount System, Cust and Data
Factory Reset
Install Bare_Naked.zip
Install SuperSU
Wipe cache / dalvik and reboot.
I am a little confused about "Factory Reset", "Factory Reset" = "Wipe -> Swipe to Factory Reset"?
I dirty flashed, did 130 to 150, then same steps except didnt factory reset. Everything works. By dirty i mean didnt reset but lost all my apps anyway.

I tried, if skip factory reset, flashing the Bare Naked Rom seemed doing nothing at all.
Also, how could it be possible that build number can be updated from 130 to 150 by flashing Bare Naked Rom?

All I removed are apps
If you missing settings it's most likely hidden somewhere in EMUI
Also flashing any B150 ROM will display B150 in the settings about screen. It's part of the Local.prop.
You get problems when your phones firmware is not actually updated to the displayed version. Like no WiFi
