I've spent the last month looking for a Lollipop custom ROM for my HTC816g and all I found is custom ROMs for HTC816(which don't work on my device)
My question is: Can anyone give me a link for a Lollipop custom ROM and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to flash the ROM, too!

hello I have the latest official update to oxygen 5.0.3 (not beta) and I want to know if they can recommend some custom rom or custom firmware because the ones I see there are customs or kernels based on betas .... and I really do not know if I can install those with an official non-beta ROM.
I would recommend you to read a bit more and know what you are doing before flashing.
Your question makes little sense and I believe you might put yourself in trouble (furthermore, this is not the place for questions, this is for people creating ROMs and kernels).

As the subject declares, I know it's a dumb question... but what is the "stock" firmware classified as?
Are there any custom ROMs built on the stock firmware?
I'd love to install a custom ROM, but so far nothing reliably supports Sprint, so I'm wondering if a modified stock exists.
As of right now there are only custom AOSP ROMs. There was a tweaked stock based ROM awhile back but it's not active currently. OMS is a Mod baked into some custom ROMs. It helps in theming with Substratum. I'm not sure of the specifics though.
